This article presents and analyzes the aesthetics of blended learning – half held in classroom, half held virtually – identifying attitudes and places as well as students and teachers actions in order to create a favorable atmosphere for the learning and communication processes which take place in virtual and face to face environments, being coherent with the aesthetics of complexity. This study was developed based on theories such as an genetic epistemology, autopoietic theory, interdisciplinarity and libertarian education. In order to present and analyze the aesthetics, learning and communication movements occurred among students and teacher – who was the researcher – involved in a "Estatística Aplicada à Educação", offered by the Education Course at Centro Universitário of Santa Catarina.- All metadata published by Europeana are available free of restriction under the Creative Commons CC0 1.0 Universal Public Domain Dedication. In our educational practices as professors of the initial and continued formation of teachers and in our formative processes, we have used the video-recording of lessons. These experiences led us to reflect on the importance of their uses in teacher formation. The productions of Napolitano, Miranda, Almeida, Oliveira Jr., among others, allowed us to problematize about their use in school. We bring to the discussion a classroom experience and from this experience we discuss the use of video in the pedagogic work. We affirm the necessity to value the video as a cultural product of the class, since from the above-mentioned experience it was possible to state explicitly the multiple readings that the video provokes. We rescue in this article the idea of aesthetic experience and its implications in the context of the class and we discuss about the intentionality of the use of video in that same context.- All metadata published by Europeana are available free of restriction under the Creative Commons CC0 1.0 Universal Public Domain Dedication. Finalmente, destacamos as primeiras iniciativas da Universidade de São Paulo (USP) no sentido de explorar todo o potencial propiciado pelas novas tecnologias, quer seja em experiências de cunho educacional quer seja no oferecimento de cursos a distância.- This paper discusses the role of Distance Education in the process of democratization of education in Brazil. We begin our considerations with the concept of Distance Education and a brief analysis of its range through the use of various Medias, primarily the new technologies of information and communication. We broach the social role of this teaching and learning modality and the challenges that delay its expansion, especially in public universities. We point out the existence of a strong cultural resistance among students, teachers and educational institutions and the necessity to break old paradigms to promote innovative practices. Finally, we talk about the first initiatives at the University of São Paulo (USP) to explore all the potential propitiated by the new technologies, for educational experiences as well the offering of distance courses.- All metadata published by Europeana are available free of restriction under the Creative Commons CC0 1.0 Universal Public Domain Dedication. The analysis of 712 articles of research in didactics of French mother tongue from 1970 to 1984 published in specialized French reviews by more than 400 authors with various status, shows that, in spite of an unsettled institutional context, a field of research is merging. The process of emergence of this new subject is studied through its intellectual and its social aspects - by the analysis of the research results and the analysis of questionnaires and interviews of the agents of the field.

Based on the accumulation of discussion in the field of the curriculum regarding the school curricular organization itself, I am reflecting in this paper on the disciplinarization of the knowledge that constitutes us as researchers. Why are we still so disciplined in the actual organization of our research? Even in a field where critical debate on the subjects is so strong, why do we still organize our journals, congresses, development agency evaluation processes and classes in such a disciplinary way? I analyze in this paper that the answer to these questions is not found in a general dynamics of organizing scientific knowledge, nor can it be reduced to a dichotomy between being for or against the disciplines. I argue how the discussion on disciplines reminds us of a debate on politics and identities.- All metadata published by Europeana are available free of restriction under the Creative Commons CC0 1.0 Universal Public Domain Dedication. In the construction of the first images on the most diverse historical subjects it is impossible to ignore the role played for the triad school, didactic book and teacher. Although we knew, for example, that the media, through films, soap opera, series and sets of documents, influences in the interpretations of the people on the historical contents, the History taught in the school times continues to assume prominence in the formation of the idea of history present in the mind of the majority of the popula-tion. In this direction, the present article intends to analyze the representations of the Indian Nation produced by the História & Vida Collection, of authorship of Nelson and Claudino Pilleti, adopted for students of basic education during years 1980 and 1990 in Brazil. Our objective is to perceive the presence of some types and standards in the constitution of the history narrative and identity of the Indian People in the didactic speech.- All metadata published by Europeana are available free of restriction under the Creative Commons CC0 1.0 Universal Public Domain Dedication. The teacher ought to possess the control of the content, the communication and the relationship as the key elements of the learning process. Among these elements, the relationship between teacher and student becomes one of the main ones. Other elements are: the mutual respect of the teacher and the student; the trust that the student must have in his/ her teacher; the student’s commitment to following the instructions of the teacher; the teacher’s interest on the student’s learning; the follow-up and the careful examination of the progress of the student by the teacher. The relationship involves, therefore, a bond, evidencing the concept of trust. Trust is both important and dangerous, once it involves the risk of the person who trusts someone be disappointed, the risk of loss and damage, including self-esteem. The relationships based on trust requires that both parties be disclosed, so that there will be no doubts about the good faith involved in this relationship. The appraisal that the teacher conducts using subjective tests is essentially based on trust; on the other hand, the student cannot breach the principle of trust by cheating. "The Emperor's Club" shows the relationship between teacher and student, and that the principle of trust may also be valid in practice.- All metadata published by Europeana are available free of restriction under the Creative Commons CC0 1.0 Universal Public Domain Dedication. This paper presents a "talk" about the history of curriculum showing how the author has been going through two of the several possible places that study the school material culture in the researches she has been carrying out, trying to grasp the history of curriculum in its most ordinary material expressions in the school history: the books, the notebooks, and analyzing, in the history of "exemplary schools", the school buildings as the most visible expression of a curriculum project. Firstly some questions about the polysemy of the words curriculum and culture are pointed up, and how the theoretical references that I assume led to investigations about the school and the school culture to study the history of curriculum, facing the school particularity without losing the sight of the historical totality. Analyzing the results of an investigation about the buildings of "exemplary schools" and another one about the notebooks of normal school students, the author concludes that both analyses, the exemplary schools buildings and the deep study of the details found in the notebooks, allow the comprehension of the history of curriculum in its material expressions, identifying this history marks in the exemplarity shown in its buildings monumentality, in the selective processes in the admissions, in its high degree of requirement, in the "excellence" of its teachers, in the respect among teachers and students, and the process of negotiation that can be noticed on the notes written in the notebooks.- All metadata published by Europeana are available free of restriction under the Creative Commons CC0 1.0 Universal Public Domain Dedication.
