The main goal of the entire project was so to investigate problems of daily commuting of workers, pupils and students, especially from the modal split point of view. The project is structured in two ...parts.The first part of the book is an extensive analysis of modal split by different relations (routes) and groups of commuters (pupils, secondary school pupils, students and workers). We tried to establish the areas in Slovenia where the usage of public transport is the weakest and to provide credible causes of that. The data of modal split was compared with the supply of public transport and with this we established that there is a significant link between the high public transportation usage and the high quality and competitiveness offer of public transportation vis-à-vis personal transportation.The next chapter was dedicated to particular pilot areas where the supply of public transport was greatly improved (Dol pri Ljubljani, Ankaran, Idrija, Nova Gorica). With the method of field interviewing and passenger counting we found out that the greatly improved offer of public transport does not necessarily cause a greater demand for public transport and thus the shift towards a more sustainable mobility.The synthesis of the book is in ten recommendations of possible transport policy measures for the purpose of achieving more sustainable mobility patterns with workers and students.
Since Slovenia's independence, new economic and social policies have been influencing settlement patterns. Processes which had in fact begun earlier have intensified and deepened during this period, ...and differences within the country have become greater. The findings from this study could help support a more active land use policy and achieve a better understanding of the structure of built areas within rural settlements.

U ovom radu autor je analizirao karakteristike dvojnih gradova Hrvatske. Na izdvojenim primjerima analizirao je njihovu morfološku povezanost i funkcionalnu međuovisnost. To je učinjeno utvrđivanjem ...dnevnih migracija i funkcionalne komplementarnosti.
U ovom članku ustvrđeno je analizom smjerova i intenziteta migracija radne snage na osnovi podataka popisa 1961. godine i nesklad između funkcije rada i funkcije stanovanja značajnih centara Hrvatske ...kojom se pokazalo da za razvoj prostora nisu važni samo veći centri rada nego i manja mjesta koja ih povezuju.
Ovaj rad donosi rezultate analize dobne, spolne, kvalifikacijske i obrazovne strukture dnevnih migranata u 16 gradova Hrvatske. Cilj rada je da se na osnovi strukture dnevnih migranata ocijeni ...stupanj razvoja dnevnih urbanih sistema.
U ovom radu analizirano je gravitacijsko područje dnevnih migracija u Zagreb 1991. godine, kao i promjene u razdoblju 1981-1991. godine. Na osnovi analize broja i smjerova migracija, te strukture ...dnevnih migranata data je ocjena stupnja razvoja gravitacijskog područja Zagreba.
U radu je predstavljen proces preobrazbe i njeni rezultati u dijelu ljubljanske gradske regije koju pokriva općina Domžale. Analizirali smo sve bitne čimbenike koji utječu na socio-ekonomski i ...funkcionalni vidik preobrazbe naselja te na promjene njihove fizionomije. Naša zadaća imala je za cilj da utvrdi stupanj preobrazbe u različitim dijelovimaopćine i pojavne oblike same preobrazbe.
