Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat efektivitas pembinaan etos kerja dalam meningkatkan disiplin kehadiran guru dikelas pada kegiatan belajar mengajar. seorang guru minimal harus memiliki dasar-dasar ...kompetensi sehingga memiliki wewenang dan kemampuan dalam menjalankan tugasnya terutama agar dapat meningkatkan suasana belajar yang kondusif. Kegiatan belajar mengajar akan menyebabkan terjadinya proses interaksi antara guru dengan siswa. Sehingga, sangat diperlukan kedisipinan baik oleh guru maupun siswa. Terciptanya situasi yang disiplin dapat menimbulkan jalannya pelajaran, sehingga berpengaruh terhadap pencapaian tujuan. Penelitian ini berupa Penelitian Tindakan Sekolah (PTS) dengan menggunakan desain penelitian model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 115 Pekanbaru. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru, jumlah guru sebanyak 20 orang. Dua siklus yang memperlihatkan terjadi peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II dengan standar pencapaian 75%. Melalui pembinaan etos kerja dapat meningkat kedisiplin guru pada kegiatan belajar mengajar.
This study aims to investigate the relationship between business ethics, work ethic, remuneration, and corporate reputation in public plantation companies. This study used quantitative approaches by ...selecting 100 employees from open plantation enterprises through random sampling. A method called Partial Least Squares (PLS) is employed for the data analysis. The results of the analysis show a significant relationship between business ethics, work ethic, remuneration with company reputation. It was found that strong business ethical practices, a positive work ethic, and fair remuneration can contribute positively to a company's reputation. These findings indicate the importance of implementing these practices in improving the company's image in the eyes of the public. This research provides valuable insights for the management of publicly traded plantation companies in understanding the factors that affect their company reputation. Practical implications of these findings include an emphasis on improving a culture of business ethics, strengthening work ethics, and implementing fair and competitive remuneration policies. This is expected to help companies strengthen their position in the market and gain greater support from various stakeholders.
O artigo discorre sobre a relação entre o direito contratual e os princípios da teoría da justiça de Rawls, com especial atenção para o princípio da diferença. Parte-se da premissa de que as atitudes ...dos cidadãos (ou etos social) se sujeitam à influência das instituições. Todo o restante sendo igual, portanto, o princípio da diferença requer instituições que fomentem um etos social o mais igualitário possível. Conclui-se daí que o papel do direito contratual em uma sociedade ideal rawlsiana pode não ser o de promover a eficiência (isto é, beneficiar os cidadãos em pior situação mediante uma regulação eficiente das trocas), mas colaborar para um etos social menos propenso à desigualdade. Afirma-se que o direito contratual pode cumprir esse desiderato de duas maneiras: descritivamente, ao abrir mão da presunção de que os contratantes atuam unicamente para maximizar a própria utilidade (a presunção do homo economicus), e valorativamente, ao enaltecer comportamentos moderadamente altruístas.

Die vertaler het geen vrypas om na willekeur te vertaal nie; daar is sprake van lojaliteit: teenoor die opdraggewer, die teikenleser én die bronteks. Mutatis mutandis geld dit ook die biograaf, wat gebonde is aan sy opdraggewer, die lesers vir wie die biografie bedoel is en die lewe van die persoon oor wie die biografie handel. In ’n ander studie (Van Coller 2019b) oor JC Steyn se biografieë van Piet Cillié en MER is bevind dat enkele gemanipuleerde voorstellings van dié persone waarskynlik toegeskryf kan word aan die opdraggewer, Naspers, wat noue bande met beide gehad het – veral met Cillié, een van die destydse sleutelfigure in dié organisasie. In die onderhawige studie is bevind dat veral Truida Louw (en die Louw-gesin) se betrokkenheid by hierdie biografie (as mede-opdrag-gewers, onderhoudvoerders en keurders) die voorstelling van Truida positief beïnvloed en dié van Sheila Cussons, haar antagonis in die vyftigerjare van die vorige eeu in Amsterdam, negatief kleur. Enkele posisioneringsteorieë word ook betrek ter steun van hierdie bevinding. Hierdie tweedelige biografie is sonder twyfel ’n baken – én een van die bestes – in Afrikaans. Desondanks toon ʼn analise daarvan dat selfs die mees volledige en wetenskaplik gedrewe vorm van geskiedskrywing nooit op volkome objektiwiteit aanspraak sal kan maak nie: geskiedskrywing bly ’n hermeneutiese proses en interpretasie is altyd subjektief.
This study aims to assess several aspects regarding the performance of State High School teachers in Denpasar City, namely: 1) the level of determination of transformational leadership on teachers' ...performance, 2) the level of determination of work ethic on teachers' performance, 3) the level of determination of organizational commitment on teachers' performance, 4) the level of determination of work motivation on teachers' performance, and 5) the combined determination of transformational leadership, work ethic, organizational commitment, and work motivation on the performance of State High School teachers in Denpasar City. The study employed an "ex-post facto" approach with a large sample of 233 participants. The findings revealed significant insights: Firstly, there was a significant determination between transformational leadership and teachers' performance, with a correlation coefficient of 0.433 and an effective contribution of 9.01%. Secondly, there was a significant determination between work ethic and teachers' performance, with a correlation coefficient of 0.314 and an effective contribution of 4.71%. Thirdly, there was a significant determination between organizational commitment and teachers' performance, with a correlation coefficient of 0.255 and an effective contribution of 0.38%. Fourthly, there was a significant determination between work motivation and teachers' performance, with a correlation coefficient of 0.513 and an effective contribution of 19.01%. Finally, collectively, there was a significant determination between transformational leadership, work ethic, organizational commitment, and work motivation on teachers' performance, with a double correlation coefficient of 0.575 and a determination of 33.1% on the performance of State High School teachers in Denpasar City.
Teacher isn‘t one of all source of science in learning process. So, if the teacher needs survive in his or her contribution in the learning teaching process, they must do some innovations. In order to make the learning teaching process run well, therefore the teacher is not only has mastered his or her competence but also has mastered the emotion quotion, spiritual quotion and has mastered the information, communication and technology. Beside that, the teacher who has work hard ethic, is the teacher who has optimism. It means, in doing his task of the learning teaching process must have the strong motivation. So, the teacher will get the best achievement.
This article assesses the contribution of the treaty bodies monitoring implementation of the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights and of the International Covenant on Civil ...and Political Rights (respectively, the Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, or CESCR, and of the Human Rights Committee, or CCPR) to the definition of the human right to water and of the related state duty to protect it from the harmful impacts of business activities. Furthermore, the article assesses the influence exerted by the work of CESCR on the recognition and definition of a human right to water and sanitation and on corporate accountability by reviewing selected examples of national and regional jurisprudence that resorts to existing international standards on the right to water as interpretive tools. I argue that the progressive approach of CESCR to the protection of the right to water, especially concerning the extraterritorial dimension of human rights obligations, and to the promotion of corporate accountability, can contribute to shaping the content of the proposed business and human rights treaty currently under discussion at the Human Rights Council.
This study aims to determine the work ethic and background of it which encourages the work ethic of female traders in Floating Market of Lok Baintan, Martapura River, Banjar. This study used ...qualitative method by interview, observation, and documentation. Data were analyzed using descriptive interpretative techniques. The results shows that the work ethic of female traders of Floating Market in Lok Baintan displayed their nature and characteristics in practicing their business, such as honesty, respect of time, hard work, and self-contained. Internal factors that influences their work ethic are education, their beliefs of God, culture which has existed from the past and the impact of hard work. While the external factor that inspires their work ethics are motivation among them and guidance from local government. The results of this study concludes that the female traders work ethic of Floating Market of Lok Baintan is very well as it meets the criteria of a high work ethic, as proposed by the experts, and their work ethic is also guided by the values and religious beliefs and noble culture.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji etos kerja serta latar belakang yang mendorong tumbuhnya semangat untuk bekerja atau etos kerja para pedagang perempuan di Pasar Terapung Lok Baintan Sungai Martapura, Kabupaten Banjar. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif dan menggunakan metode penelitian lapangan dengan teknik wawancara, pengamatan, dan dokumentasi dalam mengumpulkan data. Analisa data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif interpretatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa etos kerja pedagang perempuan Pasar Terapung Lok Baintan di Sungai Martapura terlihat pada sifat dan karakteristik mereka dalam berusaha, seperti sifat kejujuran, menghargai waktu, kerja keras, dan mandiri. Adapun latar belakang tumbuhnya etos kerja pedagang pasar terapung Lok Baintan, dipengaruhi oleh faktor dari dalam yaitu pendidikan, keyakinan terhadap agama mereka, kultur atau budaya yang sudah ada sejak dahulu, dan dampak dari kerja keras. Faktor luar yang mempengaruhi etos kerja mereka adalah; motivasi antar sesama pedagang dan pembinaan dari pemerintah. Hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa etos kerja pedagang perempuan Pasar Terapung Lok Baintan sangat baik dan memenuhi kriteria etos kerja yang tinggi, sebagaimana dikemukakan oleh para ahli, dan etos kerja mereka juga dilandasi oleh nilai dan keyakinan agama serta budaya luhur.
