La Guerra Civil confirmó la idea de que el paisaje español era el escenario donde se comenzaba a dirimir el futuro del mundo, y muchos intelectuales europeos y americanos recalaron aquí en esos años, mientras Renau iniciaba la evacuación del tesoro artístico español para protegerle de la barbarie fascista. Tourism has emerged as one of the foremost industries experiencing rapid growth. Over the past few decades, the sector has witnessed continuous development in Indonesia, evident from the increasing ...number of foreign tourist arrivals. The rapid growth of tourism in various regions has undeniably yielded positive impacts on both investment and the overall economy. However, it has also given rise to a multitude of challenges that need to be addressed. One of the challenges pertains to the issue of land ownership, specifically concerning the acquisition of residents' lands surrounding tourist destinations by foreign individuals, which is strictly prohibited under Indonesian law. Therefore, a comparative analysis between Indonesia and Malaysia is needed to identify regulation problems to potentially increase cases of legal smuggling of foreign land ownership transfers. This study explains the practice of land ownership by foreigners in the Pesisir Barat District of Lampung, along with the associated problems analyzed through a socio-legal approach. The results show that tourism undeniably benefits the economic sector, and resulted in legal infringements concerning land ownership, leading to the marginalization and displacement of local communities. This study adopts a comparative law method, elucidating the respective provisions of both Indonesia and Malaysia, supplemented by a normative juridical approach to examine legal principles, regulations, and systematics through the examination of relevant library materials. Consequently, it is essential to enhance the regulations surrounding the transfer of land to foreigners, including Foreign Citizens and Foreign Legal Entities with representatives in Indonesia, emulating the stringent land tenure restrictions imposed by Malaysia on foreign nationals.

Para identificar con mayor precisión los desafíos de legitimidad de nuestras prácticas penales frente a la población extranjera, este artículo propone una aproximación normativa y luego describe e identifica los principales déficits de legitimidad que existen en el ámbito del encarcelamiento de población extranjera en Chile. El trabajo sostiene que existe un alto déficit de legitimidad que se configura por una serie de espacios en los que nuestras instituciones penales muestran extrema indiferencia frente a las necesidades y afecciones particulares de este grupo.

The aim of the article will be ...to use the Declaration as a paradigm to identify the obstacles posed to the emergency accommodation of non-EU foreign families in France. The study mobilises methods of comprehensive sociology, and proposes to analyse the practices of public authorities with legal and moral concepts such as rights and obligations. The results show confusion resulting from the assimilation of people and institutions. The article concludes that there is a correlation between the power of institutions, the freedom of professionals and the lack of rights of peoples.
Xenophobia is a social evil that has seen the human rights of migrants violated all over the world. In South Africa, black foreign nationals are often humiliated, assaulted, and their businesses ...destroyed, in addition to being denied some basic services and seldom accused of dealing drugs and taking what belong to South African citizens in the form of jobs and social benefits. South Africans is considered a beneficiary of many acts of selfless solidarity during the apartheid era, however, some South Africa to a certain extent believes that what its people enjoy should be extended to the citizens from other country. Thus, its national interest can be daubed as people-centered while promoting the well-being, development and upliftment of its people and ensuring inclusive development of the country. Using a qualitative research method, this study interrogates the xenophobic noise surrounding migrants in South Africa while seeking to know whether xenophobism is a product of jealousy and ignorance? Thus, going by the influence of government policies, how can the principles of Ubuntu diplomacy be explored to checkmate the xenophobes in response to the circumstances surrounding it in South Africa? Theoretically, the study relies on scapegoatism theory, frustration aggression theory, and group threat theory and to explain the possible reasons behind the hostile nature of black South African towards black African migrants, concluding that the best, and only solution to the phenomenon is to remove the image of “they are our enemies” through Ubuntu diplomacy.
This study aims to explore the types and functions of speech acts in BIPA (Indonesian Language for Foreign Speakers) teaching materials which can have implications for language learning for foreign ...speakers. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The source of this research data is dialogue in Practical BIPA teaching materials by the Ministry of Education and Culture.Data collection techniques using document techniques. Data analysis techniques in this study used the Spradley model analysis techniques, through 4 stages, namely, domain analysis, taxonomy, componential, and cultural theme analysis. The findings in this study indicate that there are 5 types of illocutionary speech acts, namely assertive, directive, commissive, expressive, and declarative. These findings can have implications for language learning for foreign speakers, especially BIPA learning. Understanding illocutionary speech acts can help foreign speakers to develop communicative abilities of foreign speakers. Insight into knowledge of illocutionary speech acts can help foreign speakers understand cultural norms related to the use of the target language. Speech act studies can also improve the ability to understand and use language in appropriate social contexts. Insight into illocutionary speech acts also helps foreign speakers to be more careful of errors or misunderstandings in communication. Can be used as material for foreign speakers in negotiating, convincing, and influencing others when communicating.
Foreigners from third countries are not entitled to participate in the Czech public health insurance system unless they have either permanent residence in the Czech Republic or a Czech employer. This ...article aims to analyse the economic impact of the possible inclusion of such foreigners into the public health insurance system in the Czech Republic. First, we estimate the size of the group of foreigners concerned and follow with the estimation of contributions paid and the cost involved. The analysis is based on publicly available data that entail simplifications. The conducted research shows that the inclusion of foreigners from third countries into the public health system of the Czech Republic would positively impact the economic balance of the system in that the estimated contributions would surpass the estimated costs.
