Mental health is a major resource for athletes in relation to their performance and development. Concurrently, athletes experience additional mental health risk factors compared to non-athletic ...population, such as high training loads, tough competitions, and a stressful lifestyle. Contemporary statistics demonstrate a substantial growth in athletes' mental health-related problems, such as concussion, overtraining, and identity crisis. Therefore, the International Society of Sport Psychology through this Position Stand provides support to sport psychology researchers, practitioners, sport participants, and stakeholders in understanding: (a) mental health phenomenon based on continuum-type models outlining mental illness (prevalence vs. absence) and mental health in association with peak performance, (b) major findings of research dealing with athletes' performance, career and personal (e.g. identity) development in relation to mental health issues, and (c) interventions aimed at monitoring and maintaining athletes' mental health as well as preventing various forms of mental ill-being. Five major sections reflect the logic outlined above (i.e. from definitions and theories to research and practice), complemented by 10 postulates summarising the International Society of Sport Psychology message intended to spur further discussions on how to make athletes healthier and, thus, more resourceful for (and through) sport.
This conceptual analysis aims to challenge the state of high-performance sport by questioning the concept of
. To start, we offer a brief, but critical overview of what specialization currently ...entails. Then, shifting the paradigm, we suggest an expansion rather than a reduction of developmental possibilities once an athlete reaches the "top". Specifically, rather than athletes conforming to national standards imposed by governing bodies about what it means to be "elite", we suggest sport systems consider a
approach to support ongoing development. Drawing on an ecological dynamics rationale and various socio-cultural theories, we explore how concepts such as
and
can be harnessed to create a better "fit" between athletes' action capabilities and the opportunities within their

. We argue that a person-environment fit welcomes diversity, so long as it sustains the person's health, wellbeing, and performance. This, it is suggested, is about collectively holding open spaces for each other to explore beyond the constraints of high-performance sport, encouraging
to carry on their lives in directions meaningfully impactful for them. We conclude this conceptual analysis with a brief case example demonstrating what our theorizing could look like in practice.
Integration of digitalization in education has become the need of the hour. The emergence of technology has posed several challenges to the entire education system, especially teachers who are direct ...contact point for the students. Pandemic is another key reason for education to blend digitalization. Digitalization in education has changed the way teachers perceive the entire system of teaching and learning pedagogy. Current study aims towards identifying and analyzing teachers’ perception towards digital pedagogy and their inputs in making the teaching, learning and evaluation process robust and constructive. A sample size for the study is 15 teachers’ who are part of higher education. Descriptive analysis is done and 5-point likert scale is used to understand teachers’ perception towards digital pedagogy and its effectiveness to the students. The study indicates that digital pedagogy if used precisely can act as an effective mechanism in enhancing the critical and analytical thinking of the students.

This paper offers a narrative review of existing academic and grey literature on the roles of Australian First Nations' Knowledges and the arts in regional and remote development. We do so to examine ...the degree to which current mainstream approaches to development are actualising international calls for “inclusive” development that accentuate “Indigenous” local and knowledges and strengths. The paper discusses existing regional and remote development literature through a lens of holistic, strength-based, and inclusive development. This incorporates many forms of valuing and developing including: cultural, social, environmental, and economic forms of value and activity. We conclude by offering recommendations for future research, policy, and practice that can draw on the strengths of First Nations’ Knowledges and the arts to achieve inclusive and holistic development.

•Mainstream government-led development approaches are not substantively including the arts and First Nations' Knowledges.•Inclusive development seeks to respond to the failure of top-down regional development initiatives and policies.•To achieve inclusive development, stakeholders must examine power relations and governance.•Further research into the value of arts and First Nations' Knowledges in rural, regional, and remote regions is needed.
In recent years, Ghanaian students have exhibited a concerning trend of drifting away from the values integral to sustaining and preserving Ghanaian norms, culture and societal well-being. This shift ...has led to a proliferation of immoral behaviour among students, prompting widespread concern among Ghanaians. This decline is often attributed to the perceived prioritization of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education in the current curriculum. There is an urgent need to tackle this issue to ensure students’ moral development is not overlooked in favour of STEM education. In light of this challenge, the approach proposed in this article was the “Soulful Science” approach. The study explored the feasibility and impact of soulful science in Ghanaian STEM education. The researchers employed a descriptive survey design for this study. Interviews were used to collect data from 50 participants (Senior High School (SHS) teachers, students, and parents in Sefwi Wiawso Municipality). It was established that the proposed soulful science approach is achievable with its accompanying methods like inclusive curriculum pedagogies, interdisciplinary projects, case studies, and the incorporation of religious perspectives into STEM lessons. However, challenges such as potential conflict between religious beliefs and scientific principles were identified. It was recommended that adequate efforts should be made to develop a curriculum that successfully integrates religious and moral education with STEM subjects while respecting the diversity of beliefs. In conclusion, the soulful science approach creates an inclusive, culturally relevant learning environment that enhances students’ religious and moral development, employability and fosters sustainable economic growth. This study’s contribution is significant for the fields of moral and STEM education, and curriculum development, as it advocates for a more holistic approach to education that prioritizes moral development alongside technological proficiency.
