Velebitsko je podgorje klimatski specifičan dio Jadranskoga mora s najjačim udarima bure. Cilj je rada analizirati neke od glavnih klimatskih elemenata i indeksa na području Velebitskoga podgorja. ...Analizirani su klimatski podaci s triju meteoroloških postaja: Senj na sjevernom dijelu, zatim Jablanac te Karlobag koji su smješteni na središnjem dijelu Velebitskoga podgorja. Prema Köppenu klima je u Velebitskom podgorju umjereno topla kišna klima. Na području Senja ljeta su gotovo bez pojave sušnoga razdoblja, dok je za preostale dvije meteorološke postaje karakteristično vruće ljeto s izrazitim sušnim razdobljem tijekom srpnja i početkom kolovoza. Prema vrijednostima Langova kišnoga faktora klima je u kanalu semihumidna. Od Senja prema jugu Velebitskoga podgorja povećavaju se vrijednosti srednje godišnje temperature zraka i iznosa potencijalne evapotranspiracije, a smanjuju se količine oborine i srednja brzina vjetra, međutim te promjene vrijednosti klimatskih elemenata nisu statistički značajne. Jedino se maksimalna brzina vjetra značajno smanjuje od Senja prema Karlobagu. Apsolutno kolebanje temperature zraka u Velebitskom podgorju bilo je od –10,4 °C do 39,7 °C, a maksimalna brzina vjetra iznosila je 32,7 bofora, dok je najučestaliji vjetar smjera istok – sjeveroistok odnosno sjeveroistok.
The area of Velebit Podgorje is a climate-specific part of the Adriatic Sea with the strongest wind gusts. The aim of this paper is to analyze some of the main climatic elements and indices in the area of Velebit Podgorje. Climatic data from three meteorological stations were analyzed, namely Senj situated in the northern part of the Velebit Podgorje, and Jablanica, and Karlobag in the south, i.e. in the central part of the area. According to Köppen, the climate in the Velebit Podgorje area is a moderately warm rainy climate. In the area of Senj, summers are almost without a dry period, while for the other two meteorological stations situated south of the area of Velebit Podgorje, summers are hot with extremely dry periods during July and early August.
According to the values of the Lang’s rain factor, the climate in the area is semi humid. From Senj towards the south of the Velebit Podgorje,
the values of the average annual air temperature and the amount of potential evapotranspiration increase, while precipitation amounts and mean wind speed are reduced, however these changes in climatic elements are not statistically significant. Only the maximum wind speed decreases
significantly from Senj to Karlobag. Absolute air temperature fluctuation in the area ranged from -10.4 ˚C to 39.7 ˚C. Maximum wind speed in the area of the Velebit Podgorje was 32.7 Beaufort, and the most frequent wind was east-northeast or northeast.
Začetki Zgodovinarskega indeksa citiranja segajo v leto 2003, ko so raziskovalci Inštituta za novejšo zgodovino začeli spremljati in sistematično popisovati citate za prijave projektov in programov ...na ARRS. Citatni indeks je doživel nekaj nadgradenj, poskusov harmonizacije podatkov in prečiščevanja relacijskih baz, vendar je bilo v zadnjih letih ugotovljeno, da sistem ne zadostuje potrebam indeksatorjev in uporabnikov. Pred nadgradnjo smo izvedli analizo podatkov, kjer so se identificirale največje težave. Nadgradnja je potekala v dveh delih; v prvem delu smo nadgradili administrativni del, v drugem delu pa spletno aplikacijo. Zgodovinarski indeks citiranja je bil med nadgradnjo tehnično posodobljen in s tem oblikovan tako, da je intuitiven za indeksatorje in uporabnike.
Aim: To evaluate the cardiovascular system functions biochemically and echocardiographically in renal transplant recipients before and after transplantation.
Materials and Methods: Patients who were ...followed up in Gazi University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Pediatric Nephrology and diagnosed with CRF, and underwent renal transplantation before the age of 18 were included in the study. A control group was formed from healthy volunteers. BMI, biochemical values, echocardiographic findings, and CIMT measurements of these patients before and after transplantation were compared. Amaç: Renal transplantasyon hastalarında transplantasyon öncesi ve sonrası kardiyovasküler sistem fonksiyonlarını biyokimyasal ve ekokardiyografik açıdan değerlendirmek.
Gereç ve Yöntemler: Gazi Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Çocuk Nefroloji Bölümü’nde takip edilen KBY tanısı alıp 18 yaşından önce renal transplantasyon yapılan hastalar çalışmaya dahil edildi. Araştırma kriterlerine uygun sağlıklı gönüllülerden kontrol grubu oluşturuldu. Bu hastaların transplantasyon öncesi ve sonrası vücut kitle indeksleri, biyokimyasal değerleri, ekokardiyografi bulguları, CİMT ölçümleri karşılaştırıldı. Hastalara transplantasyon sonrası bakılan doku Doppler görüntüleme ile BNP değerleri kontrol grubu ile karşılaştırıldı.

Aim: This study was aimed to investigate visceral adiposity indicators and the atherogenic index of plasma (AIP) in type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) patients.
Material and Methods: A total of 353 ...adults aged between 18 and 74 years were included in this study. Bodyweight, height, waist, and hip circumference were measured; fasting blood glucose, HbA1c, and lipid profile (total cholesterol, triglyceride, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol) values were analyzed. Visceral adiposity index (VAI), lipid accumulation product (LAP), body adiposity index (BAI), body shape index (ABSI), body roundness index (BRI), conicity index (CI), and AIP levels were calculated.
Results: The study included 116 (32.9%) males and 237 (67.1%) females, with a mean age of 57.8±11.5 years. AIP z-scores were found to be directly related to T2DM (OR, 5.03; 95% CI: 1.95-13.01), while VAI z-scores were less associated with T2DM (OR, 1.10; 95% CI: 1.03-1.18). According to the ROC curve analysis, although the area under the curve (AUC) is weak to distinguish diabetic patients with VAI, LAP, and AIP, it is statistically significant (p<0.001, AUC: 0.619, cut-off= 5.1, 95% CI: 0.561-0.677; p=0.007, AUC: 0.583, cut-off= 63.2, 95% CI: 0.523-0.642; and p=0.001, AUC: 0.606, cut-off= 0.4, 95% CI: 0.547-0.665, respectively).
Conclusion: VAI, LAP, and AIP are strong predictors of diabetes, AIP is a better predictor of predicting diabetes than VAI and LAP.
Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı tip 2 diyabet (T2DM) hastalarında visseral yağlanma göstergelerini ve aterojenik plazma indeksini (atherogenic index of plasma, AIP) araştırmaktır.
Gereç ve Yöntemler: Bu çalışmaya 18 ve 74 yaşları arası toplam 353 yetişkin birey dahil edildi. Vücut ağırlığı, boy uzunluğu, bel ve kalça çevresi ölçüldü; açlık kan şekeri, HbA1c ve lipid profil (total kolesterol, trigliserit, düşük dansiteli lipoprotein kolesterol ve yüksek dansiteli lipoprotein kolesterol) değerleri analiz edildi. Visseral adipozite indeksi (visceral adiposity index, VAI), lipit birikim ürünü (lipid accumulation product, LAP), vücut adipozite indeksi (body adiposity index, BAI), vücut şekli indeksi (body shape index, ABSI), vücut yuvarlaklık indeksi (body roundness index, BRI), koniklik indeksi (conicity index, CI) ve AIP seviyeleri hesaplandı.
Bulgular: Çalışmaya, yaş ortalaması 57,8±11,5 yıl olan 116 (%32,9) erkek ve 237 (%67,1) kadın dahil edildi. AIP z-skorlarının doğrudan T2DM ile ilişkili olduğu (OR, 5,03; %95 GA: 1,95-13,01), VAI z-skorlarının T2DM ile daha az ilişkili olduğu (OR, 1,10; %95 GA: 1,03-1,18) belirlendi. ROC eğrisi analizine göre, eğri altında kalan alan (area under the curve, AUC) VAI, LAP ve AIP ile diyabetik hastaları ayırt etmekte zayıf olsa da istatistiksel olarak anlamlıdır (sırasıyla p<0,001; AUC: 0,619; kesme değeri= 5,1; %95 GA: 0,561-0,677; p=0,007; AUC: 0,583; kesme değeri= 63,2; %95 GA: 0,523-0,642 ve p=0,001; AUC: 0,606; kesme değeri= 0,4; % 95 GA: 0,547-0,665).
Sonuç: VAI, LAP ve AIP diyabetin güçlü prediktörleridir, AIP diyabeti öngörmede VAI ve LAP’den daha iyi bir prediktördür.

belirlenmesinde obeziteyle ilişkili geleneksel ve yeni
indekslerin değerlendirilmesi ve hangi belirtecin daha iyi
öngördürücü olduğunu belirleme amacı ...ile planlanmıştır.
Gereç ve Yöntem: Bu çalışmaya 18-65 yaş arası toplam
419 yetişkin birey dahil edildi. Vücut ağırlığı, boy uzunluğu,
bel ve kalça çevresi ile kan basıncı ölçüldü; açlık kan şekeri,
total kolesterol, trigliserit, düşük dansiteli lipoprotein
kolesterol ve yüksek dansiteli lipoprotein kolesterol
değerleri analiz edildi. Metabolik sendrom (MetS)
Uluslararası Diabet Federasyonu kriterleri kullanılarak
tanımlanmıştır. Obeziteyle ilişkili 23 indeksin değeri
hesaplandı.
Bulgular: Metabolik sendrom prevalansı % 58,7 (erkek %
41,2; kadın % 67,7)’dir. Trigliserit-glikoz (TyG) indeksi
hem erkeklerde (eğri altında kalan alan (AUC)= 0,894,
kesme değeri = 9,3) hemde kadınlar da (AUC = 0,901,
kesme değeri = 8,3) en büyük AUC'ye sahiptir. Erkeklerde
lipit birikim ürünü (LAP), MetS için ikinci en yüksek
belirlemeye sahip iken (AUC = 0,880, kesme değeri =
51,1), ardından TyG-bel/kalça (AUC = 0,876, kesme
değeri = 3,7) gelmektedir. Kadınlarda kardiyometabolik
indeks (CMI) (AUC = 0,872, kesme değeri = 1,3) ve viseral
adipozite indeksi (VAI) (AUC = 0,868, kesme değeri = 4,1)
sırasıyla ikinci ve üçüncü en büyük AUC'lere sahiptir.
Sonuç: TyG indeksi MetS belirlemede en iyi
öngördürüdür. Bel çevresi kullanışlılığı ve uygun
maliyetiyle büyük ölçekli epidemiyolojik çalışmalarda
alternatif bir indeks olabilir.

Amaç: Şok indeksi ve modifiye şok indeksi travma, pulmoner emboli ve aort diseksiyonu olan hastaların hemodinamik durumunu değerlendirmek için kullanılmıştır. Bu çalışmada ST elevasyonlu miyokard infarktüs hastalarında majör istenmeyen kardiyak olay parametrelerinin bir göstergesi olarak şok indeksi ve modifiye şok indeksinin etkinliğini değerlendirmeyi amaçladık.
Gereç ve Yöntem: Çalışmaya ST elevasyonlu miyokard enfarktüsü olan toplam 194 hasta dahil edildi. Şok indeksi ve modifiye şok indeksinin majör istenmeyen kardiyak olayı ve majör istenmeyen kardiyak olay parametrelerini ayrı ayrı öngörme açısından değerlendirildi.

Aim: Hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis are renal replacement treatment options in patients with chronic renal failure. Mortality and morbidity rates are higher in hemodialysis and peritoneal ...dialysis patients when compared to the healthy population. Comorbidities of the patients play roles in the high mortality and morbidity rates. In the present study, the comorbidities of hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis patients were evaluated; and the Charlson Comorbidity Index, whose reliability was proven in many studies before, was compared and discussed.
Materials and Method: A total of 154 patients (78 hemodialysis and 76 peritoneal dialysis patients), who were followed up for end-stage renal disease, were included in the study. The Charlson Comorbidity Index scores of the patients were calculated. The Charlson Comorbidity Index score and parameters were compared between patient groups on hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis.
Results: The Charlson Comorbidity Index was found to be significantly higher in peritoneal dialysis patients than in hemodialysis patients (p=0.001). It was also found that the frequency of congestive heart failure, cerebrovascular accident, and connective tissue, which are the parameters of the Charlson Comorbidity Index, were significantly different between the groups (p
Amaç: Hemodiyaliz ve periton diyalizi kronik böbrek yetmezlikli hastalarda renal replasman tedavisi seçeneklerindendir. Hemodiyaliz ve periton diyalizi hastalarında sağlıklı popülasyona göre mortalite ve morbidite oranları yüksektir. Mortalite ve morbidite oranlarının yüksek olmasında hastaların sahip olduğu komorbiditelerde rol oynamaktadır. Biz bu çalışmada hemodiyaliz ve periton diyalizi hastalarının komorbiditelerini; daha önce güvenilirliği pek çok çalışma ile ispatlanmış olan Charlson Komorbidite İndeksi ile karşılaştırmayı ve tartışmayı amaçladık.
Gereç ve yöntem: Çalışmamıza son dönem böbrek yetmezliği nedeni ile takip edilen 78 hemodiyaliz, 76 periton diyalizi hastası olmak üzere toplamda 154 hasta dahil edildi. Bu hastaların Charlson komorbidete indeksi puanları hesaplandı. Hemodiyaliz ve periton diyalizindeki hasta grupları arasında Charlson komorbidite indeksi skoru ve parametreleri karşılaştırıldı.
Bulgular: Charlson komorbidite indeksi periton diyalizi hastalarında hemodiyaliz hastalarına göre anlamlı şekilde yüksek bulundu(p=0.001). Gruplar arasında Charlson Komorbidite İndeksi parametrelerinden olan konjestif kalp yetmezliği, serebrovasküler olay ve konnektif bağ dokusu sıklığının anlamlı şekilde farklı olduğu görüldü(p
