Metronidazol, bakteri, protozoa ve parazitlerin neden olduğu enfeksiyonları tedavi etmek için kullanılan nitroimidazol sınıfı bir antibiyotiktir. Aktif farmasötik bileşenin düşük çözünürlüğü, ilaç ...absorpsiyonu ve biyoyararlanımı üzerindeki olumsuz etkisinden dolayı oral katı dozaj formlarının geliştirilmesi ve büyük ölçekli üretiminin önündeki en büyük engeldir. Bu çalışmada lipofilik yapıya sahip ve suda çözünürlüğü düşük olan metronidazolün çözünürlüğünü ve stabilitesini arttırmak için 2-hidroksipropil-β-siklodekstrin ile inklüzyon kompleksi oluşumu gerçekleştirilmiştir. 2-hidroksipropil-β-siklodekstrinin metronidazolün çözünürlüğü üzerindeki etkisi, faz çözünürlük metoduna göre değerlendirilmiştir. Metronidazolün 2-hidroksipropil-β-siklodekstrin ile kompleksleşmesi yüksek performans sıvı kromatografisi yöntemi ile belirlenmiştir. Sıvı kromatografik tayin, 25oC'de Kinetex Core-Shell C8 (Phenomenex, 150 x 4,6 mm I.D., 2,6 µm) kolonu ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Mobil faz olarak %30 (h/h) asetonitril içeren asetonitril-su ikili karışımı kullanılmıştır. Sonuç olarak kompleksin stokiyometrisi 1:1’dir ve kompleksin kararlılık sabiti yüksek performans sıvı kromatografisi yöntemi ile belirlenmiştir.
New pyridine based ruthenium complexes with different substituents were synthesized and characterized by Uv-Visible, fluorescence, FTIR and NMR spectroscopies. The substituents and solvent effects of ...the synthesized compounds on photoluminescence properties have been investigated. The compounds exhibit solvatochromic effect in different solvents. The electrochemical studies of the compounds were performed by cyclic voltammetry. The HOMO and LUMO energy levels are in the range (-5.51)-(-5.52) eV and (-3.04)-(-3.07) eV, respectively. These results indicate that there is no an important effect of side groups on electrochemical properties.
Farklı sübstitüentlere sahip yeni piridin esaslı rutenyum kompleksleri sentezlendi ve Uv-Visible, floresans, FTIR ve NMR spektroskopileri ile karakterize edildi. Sentezlenen bileşiklerin fotolüminesans özellikleri üzerine sübsitüentler ve çözücü etkileri araştırılmıştır. Bileşikler farklı çözücüler içerisinde solvakromatik etki göstermektedir. Bileşiklerin elektrokimyasal çalışmaları döngüsel voltammetri ile gerçekleştirildi. HOMO ve LUMO enerji seviyeleri sırasıyla (-5.51)-(-5.52) eV ve (-3.04-(-3.07) eV aralığındadır. Bu sonuçlar yan grupların elektrokimyasal özellikleri üzerine önemli bir etkisinin olmadığını göstermektedir.

Platinum-group element (PGE) deposits in the Bushveld Complex and other layered intrusions form when large, incompletely solidified magma chambers undergo central subsidence in response to crustal ...loading, resulting in slumping of semi-consolidated cumulate slurries to the centres of the intrusions and hydrodynamic unmixing of the slurries to form dense layers enriched in sulfides, oxides, olivine and pyroxene and less dense layers enriched in plagioclase. The most economic PGE, Cr and V reefs form in large, multiple-replenished intrusions because these cool relatively slowly and their central portions subside prior to termination of magmatism and complete cumulate solidification. The depth of emplacement has to be relatively shallow as, otherwise, ductile crust would not be able to flex and collapse. In smaller intrusions, cooling rates are faster, subsidence is less pronounced and, where it occurs, the cumulate may be largely solidified, resulting in insignificant mush mobility and mineral sorting. Layering is thus less pronounced and less regular and continuous and the grades of the reefs are lower, but the reefs can be relatively thicker. An additional factor controlling the PGE, Cr and V prospectivity of intrusions is their location within cratons. Intra-cratonic environments offer more stable emplacement conditions that are more amenable to the formation of large, layered igneous bodies. Furthermore, intrusions sited within cratons are more readily preserved because cratons are underlain by thick, buoyant keels of harzburgite that prevent plate tectonic recycling and destruction of crust.
Aim: Tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC) is a multisystem genetic, autosomal-dominant disorder predisposing to multiple organ manifestations. The aim of this study is to determine TSC the frequency of ...findings including diagnostic and non-diagnostic criteria.Patients and Metod: Thirty-five patients diagnosed with tuberous sclerosis complex were examined retrospectively. The diagnosis of the patients were evaluated according to the diagnostic criteria of TSC that were updated in 2012. As non-diagnostic criteria, we reviewed epilepsy, drug-resistant epilepsy, electroencephalography (EEG) types (focal, diffuse-multifocal and hypsarrhythmia) and TAND (TSC-associated neuropsychiatric disorders) (intellectual disability and/or autism and learning disability).Results: Twenty-one cases (60%) presented with seizures, 9 cases (26%) with hypopigmented patches and 5 cases (14%) with cardiac rhabdomyomas. The most common finding with brain magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) was cortical tubers (85%). EEG examinations revealed diffuse and multifocal epileptic disorder in 5 (24%), focal epileptic disorder in 8 (38%), and hypsarrhythmia in 8 (38%) patients. 38% of the patients with epilepsy were diagnosed with refractory epilepsy. Severe intellectual disability and / or autism were detected in 11 (32%) patients. The number of patients with renal angiomyolipoma (p:0.001) were significantly higher in drug resistant epilepsy patients and also TSC-associated neuropsychiatric disorders (TAND) (p:0.001) rate was significantly higher in epilepsy patients.Conclusion: The disease should be followed with a multidisciplinary approach. Although not included in the diagnostic criteria, it should be kept in mind that epilepsy, intellectual disability and neuropsychiatric disorders frequently accompany.
Amaç: Tüberoskleroz kompleksi (TSK) vücutta birçok organın tutulumu ile karakterize, otozomal dominant kalıtım gösteren genetik bir rahatsızlıktır. Bu çalışmada TSK tanı kriterlerinin ve tanı kriterleri dışındaki bulguların sıklığını belirlemek amaçlanmıştır.Hastalar ve Yöntemler: TSK tanılı 35 hastanın verileri geriye dönük olarak incelendi. Hastaların tanısı, 2012 yılında güncellenen TSK'nin tanı kriterlerine göre değerlendirildi. Tanısal olmayan kriterler olarak; epilepsi, ilaca dirençli epilepsi, elektroensefalografi (EEG) tiplerini (fokal, diffüz-multifokal ve hiperaritmi) ve TAND'ı (TSC ile ilişkili nöropsikiyatrik bozukluklar) (zihinsel yetersizlik ve / veya otizm ve öğrenme yetersizliği) inceledik.Bulgular: Yirmi bir hasta (%60) nöbet geçirme, 9 hasta (%26) hipopigmente lekelenmeler ve 5 hasta (%14) kardiyak rabdomiyomlar nedeniyle başvurmuştu. Beyin magnetik rezonans görüntüleme (MRG) ile en sık saptanan bulgu kortikal tüberlerdi (%85). Nöbet geçiren hastaların EEG incelemelerinde 5’inde (%24) yaygın ve multifokal epileptik bozukluk, 8’inde (%38) fokal epileptik bozukluk ve 8’inde (%38) hipsaritmi paterni saptandı. Epilepsi tanısı ile izlenen olguların %38’i dirençli epilepsi tanısına sahipti. Ağır derecede entelektüel yetersizlik ve/veya otizm 11 (%32) hastada saptandı. Dirençli epilepsi grubunda böbrek anjiomiyolipomaları olan hasta sayısı anlamlı olarak fazlaydı (p:0.001) ve aynı zamanda tüberoskleroz ile ilişkili nöropsikiyatrik bozuklukların oranı anlamlı olarak epilepsi grubunda yüksekti (p:0.001).Sonuç: Hastalığın multidisipliner bir yaklaşım ile takip edilmesi gerekmektedir. Tanı kriterlerinde yer almasa da epilepsi, entelektüel yetersizlik ve nöropsikiyatrik bozuklukların sık eşlik ettiği akılda tutulmalıdır.
Bushveld anorthosites commonly contain the so-called “mottles” comprising irregular, typically centimetric domains of oikocrystic pyroxene or olivine enclosing small, embayed plagioclase grains. The ...mottles were traditionally interpreted to result from solidification of trapped intercumulus liquid or via in situ crystallisation at the top of the crystal mush. Here, we present microtextural and compositional data of a mottle to place further constraints on the formation of anorthosite layers. Element maps generated by scanning electron microscopy reveal that plagioclase within and around the mottle has markedly elevated An contents (up to An

) relative to the host anorthosite and is strongly reversely zoned. Other unusual features, some of which were reported previously, include a halo of sub-vertically oriented, acicular phlogopite around the mottle, elevated contents of disseminated sulfides, and relatively evolved yet Ni-rich olivine (Fo
71–75
, 3000 ppm Ni). These features are interpreted to result from reactive porous flow of hot, acidic fluid enriched in nickel and sulfur through proto norite. The fluids dissolved mafic minerals and leached alkalis from the outer rims of plagioclase grains. Reconnaissance studies suggest that reversed zoning of plagioclase is a common feature in Bushveld norite and anorthosite. This implies that reactive porous flow could have been far more pervasive than currently realised and that Bushveld anorthosite layers formed through recrystallisation of norites.

(MN) methods. It has been determined that the synthesized compounds have antimutagenic
properties and reduce the mutagenicity caused by sodium azide (NaN3)
which is used as a positive control.

We report in situ Sr isotope data for plagioclase of the Bushveld Complex. We found disequilibrium Sr isotopic compositions on several scales, (1) between cores and rims of plagioclase grains in the ...Merensky pyroxenite, the Bastard anorthosite, and the UG1 unit and its noritic footwall, (2) between cores of different plagioclase grains within thin sections of anorthosite and pyroxenite of the Merensky unit, the footwall anorthosite of the Merensky reef and the footwall norite of the UG1 chromitite. The data are consistent with a model of co-accumulation of cumulus plagioclase grains that had crystallized from different magmas, followed by late-stage overgrowth of the cumulus grains in a residual liquid derived from a different level of the compacting cumulate pile. We propose that the rocks formed through slumping of semi-consolidated crystal slurries at the top of the Critical Zone during subsidence of the center of the intrusion. Slumping led to sorting of crystals based on density differences, resulting in a layered interval of pyroxenites, norites and anorthosites.
U posljednje vrijeme u Hrvatskoj sve se vise istražuju tla urbanih, industrijskih i vojnih prostora. S obzirom da urbani stanovnici provode znatan dio vremena na tim tlima, njihove značajke postale ...su iznimno bitne pa ih je nužno poznavati i uvažavati, naročito s aspekta potencijalnog onečišćenja i mogućeg štetnog utjecaja na zdravlje ljudi i životinja. Pri tome se postavlja pitanje njihove klasifikacije, s obzirom da se do nedavno u postojećim klasifikacijskim sustavima Republike Hrvatske takvim tlima nije pridavala značajnija pozornost. Cilj ovog rada je predložiti način razvrstavanja tala u urbanim, industrijskim i vojnim prostorima, uvažavajući pri tome postojeću strukturu klasifikacije tala Hrvatske (Husnjak, 2014.). Za izradu ovoga rada korišteni su postojeći podaci istraživanja tala u urbanim, industrijskim i vojnim prostorima Republike Hrvatske, temeljem čaga su utvrđene značajke tih tala. Sva tla unutar navedenih prostora, predlaže se razvrstati u skupinu prirodnih, antropogenih ili tehnogenih i tehničkih antropogenih tala. Prirodna tla nastala su u skladu s pedogenetskim čimbenicima i procesima, dok su antropogena tla meliorirana prirodna tla isključivo u funkciji poljoprivredne proizvodnje. Ova tla bi trebalo razvrstavati prema spomenutoj klasifikaciji tala Hrvatske. Tehnogena i tehnička antropogena tla su novonastala tla isključivo zbog intenzivne tehnološke i tehničke djelatnosti čovjeka izvan poljoprivrede. Predlaže ih se razvrstati u red terestričkih tala, odnosno u razred tehnogenih ili u razred tehničkih tala. U razred tehnogenih tala, pripadaju uz tla deponija i tla flotacijskih materijala, jos dva nova tipa tla: tlo industrijskog kompleksa i tlo vojnog kompleksa. Spomenuta tla nerijetko cine tzv. ,,Brownfield" zemljišta. U razred tehnickih tala predlaze se uvrstiti pet novih tipova tala: tlo parka, tlo igrališta, tlo zona za rekreaciju, tlo stambenog okoliša i tlo prometnog okoliša. Za navedene tipove tala daju se detaljni i jasni kriteriji za njihovu podjelu na nize pedosistematske jedinice.
In recent years, soils of urban industrial and military areas have been increasingly researched in Croatia. Given that urban residents spend a considerable amount of time on these soils, soil characteristics have become extremely important. It is essential to know and appreciate those soils, especially in terms of potential contamination and possible harmful effects on human and animal health. This raises the question of those soils classification considering that, until recently, such soils have not received much attention in the existing Croatian soil classification systems. The aim of this paper is to propose a method of soil classification in urban, industrial and military areas, respecting the existing structure of soil classification of Croatia (Husnjak, 2014). For the preparation of this paper, the existing soil survey data form urban areas, industrial and military complexes were used, on the basis of which the properties of these soils were determined. All soils within urban, industrial and military areas are suggested to be classified as natural or anthropogenic or technological and technical anthropogenic soils. Natural soils were formed according to pedogenetic factors and processes, while anthropogenic soils are meliorated natural soils only for the purpose of agricultural production. This soils are proposed to be classified according to the existing Croatian soil classification. Technological and technical soils are newly formed soils solely due to the intensive human activity outside of agriculture. It is proposed to classify those soils in the order of terrestrial soils, and in the classes of technogenic or technical soils. Also, in the class of technogenic soils, it is proposed to include two new soil types in addition to landfill and flotation materials: the soil of industrial complexes and the soil of military complexes. The mentioned soils often form so-called Brownfield land. Lastly, five new soil types are proposed to be included in the class of technical soils: park soils, playground soils, soils of recreation zone, residential environment soils and traffic environment soils. For these soil types, detailed and clear criteria are proposed for the separation into lower pedosystematic units.
