This study explored the relationship between Organizational Politics (OP) and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (organizational citizenship behavior for organization (OCB-O) and organizational ...citizenship behavior for individuals (OCB-I). Survey data was gathered from 398 employees work in manufacturing company in Chonburi province. PLS-SEM was used to test the research hypotheses. Results revealed that OP has a negative relationship with OCB-O and OCB-I. Based on these findings, this study recommends that the manufacturing company in Chonburi province should eliminate or reduce OP practices as much as possible in their organizations. The limitations of this study and recommendations for future research are also provided.
The management of production companies as a dynamic and complex process is aimed primarily at the efficient and effective use of limited resources in order to realize the set goals. In this way, the ...successful competitive position of the company is conditioned by an adequate and capable management that follows the changes in the environment, which manifest as opportunities and risks for the company. In modern business conditions, as an area with extremely high potential for creating a favorable competitive position is logistics, i.e. supply chains, as the aspiration of business entities to integrate their business activities and extend their influence all the way to consumers. Such an open system influences the value creation process and offers much greater potential for profit.
Social Customer Relationship Management (S-CRM) has been widely adopted by companies, including Indonesia's Automotive Manufacturing Companies (AMC). The adoption of S-CRM is aimed at enhancing ...customer relationship performance. However, there is limited research on implementing S-CRM can effectively support Customer Relationship Performance (CRP) in AMC. To address this gap, this research describes the conceptual model that illustrates the impact of S-CRM and other related factors on supporting CRP in AMC using Partial Least Square Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. The research's results reveal seven variables, eight hypotheses, and 45 indicators that can be used to increase CRP in AMC by implementing S-CRM. Result showed that only seven out of eight hypotheses are supported. This research can be used to provide recommendations for future studies on CRP in AMC, contributes to developing knowledge regarding integrating S-CRM in AMC and provides a basis for further research to enhance CRP in the company.
This paper plans to examine the effects of board size and financial leverage on the firm value measured as ROE and Tobin’s Q of DSE-listed manufacturing companies in Bangladesh ranging a period from ...2010 to 2022. This research developed ordinary least square (OLS) and fixed effects model (FEM) to identify the hypothesized relationships. The paper finds that board size does not matter for firm value but the affinity between financial leverage and firm value is positive and statistically significant. Firm size and firm age are found with a perplexing role in enhancing the value of firms because they show negative affinity when the firm value is measured as ROE but the same associations become positive when the firm value is measured as Tobin’s Q. This paper adds to the emerging body of literature on board size-performance and leverage-performance relationship in the Bangladeshi context using a reasonably wider and newer data set.
The stability of the company's operating system is an essential assessment of excellence in maintaining the company's economy. The success of a company can be seen from the profitability ratio. This ...research aims to show the effect of intellectual capital factors on profitability from a sharia perspective. This type of research is descriptive quantitative using panel data regression. The research population is manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2016-2020 period. The sampling technique used purposive sampling in order to obtain 50 observational data. The results showed that value-added capital employed (VACA) negatively and significantly affected profitability. Value-added human capital (VAHU) and structural capital value added (STVA) positively and significantly affect profitability. Simultaneously intellectual capital has a significant effect on profitability. Activities and ways of managing companies related to intellectual capital and profitability follow sharia principles. This research can be used as a reference in evaluating aspects of intellectual capital in order to be able to make an optimal contribution to company performance following sharia principles.
A critical element in assessing a company is how investors believe it will benefit from the company it is investing in. If the company succeeds in posting a large profit rate, it will motivate ...investors to invest in stocks to increase stock prices and stock demand. This study aims to determine whether internal financial performance has a significant effect on the value of manufacturing companies that have issued shares for the period 2014 to 2020 in Indonesia. This research is conducted by survey method to 50 manufacturing companies that have done the stock emission on Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data collecting technique is done by indirect communication technique through the instrument in the form of documentation study. This research was conducted in November 2021. Descriptive Analysis and Inferential Analysis do the data processing technique, that is, Correlation Analysis and Regression, with the analysis of variance (ANOVA). The results showed that: (1) The company's internal financial performance proportioned by its return on equity (ROE) shows good condition, with an average of 12.17% per company, the standard deviation of 14.24%; (2) Company Value measured by: (a) EMV (Equity Market Value) which is the product of P (Closing Price) x Qshares (Number of shares outstanding); (b) The book value of total debt (Debt); and (c) The book value of total assets (EBV), indicates good conditions, ie, average 33.16%, the standard deviation of 12.7%; (3) This hypothesis test shows ttable equal to 2,356 <tcount 5,402 (tcount> ttable) means that company's internal financial performance proportioned by return on equity (ROE) have a positive and significant effect to firm value 37,8% although low but quite meaningful. The researcher suggested paying attention to factors such as investment policy and dividend policy because it is strongly believed to affect stock price increase. Therefore it is proven that firm value to firm's internal financial performance proportioned by return on equity ROE) have a positive and significant effect.
In today’s world, industries are facing massive pressure to integrate sustainability issues for efficient and successful supply chain management (SCM). Hence, worldwide it has become critically ...important to make economic operational balance satisfying environment protection norms and social welfare perspectives. Consequently, the industries are investigating their SCM structures in association with a third party logistics (3PL) service provider adopting the triple bottom line framework for improving the overall supply chain performance. Therefore, selection of the right 3PL provider for the sustainable alliance is supremely important for broader perspective of greater business value. Thus, the main objective of this research work is the selection of most appropriate 3PL provider for a food manufacturing company (FMC) after systematic evaluation of six different feasible logistic providers serving over a decade in India. Selection of optimal alternative 3PL provider is very complex and challenging because of the qualitative description of service provider performances and the inherent uncertainty due to subjectivity. The concept of interval-valued fuzzy-rough number (IVFRN) offers perfect treatment of such uncertainty. In this paper, we develop a multi criteria decision making (MCDM) model combining the factor relationship (FARE) and multi-attributive border approximation area comparison (MABAC) models based on IVFRN. The proposed model is tested and validated on a case study where the optimal selection of 3PL providers is performed for an Indian FMC. Based on the results obtained in sensitivity analysis, it was shown that the proposed IVFRN based FARE-MABAC model produces stable/consistent solutions. Through the research presented in this paper, it is shown that the new hybrid MCDM method is a useful and reliable tool for rational decision-making.
