The primary objective is to investigate the potential applications of AI in education to enhance its quality and elevate students’ knowledge levels. A comprehensive experiment was conducted, ...involving the integration of AI technology into the learning process of 279 students. A test was administered at the outset, categorizing students into four groups based on personality types. The results demonstrated a discernible increase in the knowledge levels of students who underwent personalized AI-enhanced learning. In the final assessments, students in the experimental group achieved higher scores in English (4.4 out of 5), computer science (4.7), economics (4.6), and anatomy (4.8), compared to the control group, which received significantly lower scores (English: 3.8, Computer Science: 3.9, Economics: 4.1, Anatomy: 4). Student feedback indicated that AI rendered the learning experience more comfortable and convenient, with an overall rating of 4.6 out of 5. For instructors, the experience was predominantly positive, with a high appraisal of the effectiveness of new methodologies, scoring 4.8 out of 5. The lowest rating, 3.8 out of 5, pertained to student engagement, possibly due to the predominant role played by AI in monitoring and controlling the learning process, leaving the teacher with limited direct observation.
The involuntary shutdown at universities during the COVID-19 pandemic and the impossibility of full-time teaching forced university teachers to look for other ways of communication strategies through ...Internet platforms with students and in everyday academic activities. The aim of this study is to reveal the attitudes and perception of university teachers in the field of Media and Communication Studies in Slovakia during two years of online home learning (2020 and 2021) when the first two waves of the COVID-19 pandemic took place. The aim was to show changes in the perception of the situation in terms of existing positives and negatives during this period as well as to point out a possible trend in the communication strategies used to ensure the sustainability of the education system. Due to the lockdown, the survey was only conducted in electronic format using online questionnaires. The participants were university teachers from the field of Media and Communication Studies. As this is a progressive field the study of which is carried out at the intersection of the interests of several scientific disciplines, it can be assumed that the conclusions can easily be transferred to social, economic, humanities and arts disciplines. When communicating and teaching students in 2020 and also in 2021, online teaching through systems such as Zoom or Google Meet and individual consultations by e-mail, chat and social networks dominated. As the results of the study indicate, modern online technologies contribute to the sustainability of the educational process during an emergency and will become an integral part of university education even after the end of the pandemic situation.

The implementation of Industry 4.0 solutions in Polish enterprises entails both certain barriers and significant potential for changes and numerous benefits. These barriers may result from the costs ...of implementation of new technologies, the need to adapt employees to new skills and concerns about data security. However, by overcoming these difficulties, companies can benefit from the enormous potential for changes such as increasing production efficiency, optimizing logistics processes or improving product quality. Moreover, the use of Industry 4.0 technologies can contribute to increased innovation, increased competitiveness on the global market and the creation of new jobs. As a result, the benefits of implementing these solutions support Polish enterprises to actively engage in digital transformation, despite the barriers they encounter. The objective of this article is to confront the benefits and potential for changes resulting from the implementation of modern technologies with the barriers that limit this process. The statistical assessment of the differences between the barrier assessment values and the assessment of benefits from the use of technology, as well as between the barrier assessment values and the assessment of the potential for changes, was based on the non-parametric Mann-Whitney U test. The study covered representatives of 236 enterprises who mainly held managerial positions at various levels of management staff or persons designated by them who were responsible for research and development activities in the surveyed entities. As a result, it was indicated that the level of involvement in technological transformation among Polish enterprises is moderate. Almost 67% of all the surveyed entrepreneurs can characterize specific Industry 4.0 solutions. Among them, only approximately 6% can be defined as highly digital companies that already have partially digitized operational processes. Moreover, enterprises see more potential benefits and potential changes from the introduction of Industry 4.0 solutions than barriers to their implementation. This study is dedicated to both authors dealing with Industry 4.0 issues and entrepreneurs implementing modern technologies in their companies.
