Pogost motiv v rimski paliati so medgeneracijski konflikti. Medtem ko očetje največkrat poudarjajo konvencionalno moralo in kažejo varčnost, že kar skoporitost, se sinovi v njihovi odsotnosti radi ...predajajo razvratu: zapravljajo denar, popivajo in se spuščajo v razmerja s heterami, ponavadi ob pomoči kakega nabritega domačega sužnja. Ker vlada v komediji saturnalijski narobe svet, na koncu »zmagajo« sinovi in sužnji, ki so tudi glavni junaki teh komedij. Tu in tam pa Plavt sinovom položi na jezik besede, ki odstopajo od njihovega siceršnjega ravnanja in jih prikažejo v odgovornejši luči. Njegova najrazvpitejša »moralistična« komedija je Trinovčevo (Trinummus), vendar zasledimo moralno navdahnjene vložke in značajske lastnosti tudi v drugi komediji s podobnim izhodiščem, ki deluje veliko bolj razposajeno: v Hišnem strahu (Mostellaria). Ob primerjavi mladih protagonistov v Plavtovih komedijah Hišni strah in Trinovčevo ugotovimo, da je komedija Trinovčevo občutno bolj moralistična od Hišnega strahu, vendar po drugi strani tudi v slednjem ni mogoče videti gole burke kot, denimo, v Oslih (Asinaria) istega avtorja. Če si v Oslih oba protagonista, oče in sin, ki se pehata za isto meretrix, pravzaprav zaslužita zgolj posmeh občinstva, imajo glavni junak Hišnega strahu, njegov prijatelj in ljubica več značajskih lastnosti, ki so jih morale prikupiti tudi kritikom Katonovega kova.
Článek si prizadeva raziskati opus Josipa Stritarja z gledišča etične literarne vede.1 Za ta namen analizira navzočnost etike in morale na področju tematike, pogledov na vlogo umetnika/ ustvarjalca ...in názorov о bistvu literarne umetnosti. Stritar je svoj opus prepredel z etičnimi teinami; v zgodnejši fazi je pesniku/pisatelju predpísal izrazito etično držo in bistvo umetnosti videl v spodbujanju in dvigovanju človekove etične zavesti. V Stritarjevi zreli in požni dobi se etična drža pisatelja in etično bistvo literature modificirata v duhu moralnosti in moraliziranja. Stritar ta premik zaznava, a ga kljub poskusom ne zmore ustrezno pojasniti.
This article focuses on Cankar's novel Gospa Judit, exploring the connection between the text's main innovations and its inherent fragments of Nietzschean philosophy. These innovations-i.e., ...syncretism of genres, essayisation (discursivity), interweaving of two first-person narrators, a female protagonist, as well as an evaluative criterion or satirical polemic, and autobiography as the main poetical principle-were examined from the perspective of the nuclei of Nietzsche's philosophy: morality, will to power, individuality, autobiographicality, and yearning. A Nietzschean approach of adopting a moral framework is analysed as a critique of the nation's morality, while the will to power is perceived as a trait of a distinct individuality or autobiography. Finally, the work is analysed as the mirror of society.

The crisis of sports is due to ...problems of boundaries, sports are no longer autonomous, and
they are not healthy. Crumbling sports ethics is conditioned by the mercilessness of economic
markets.
Solutions:
– a call for an alignment of moral norms in all sectors of society;
– the regulation of free economic markets is a condition for the possibility of sports’ becoming
recreational, that is, for sports to help gain physical strength and psychic energy, rather than
producing a dangerous mass hysteria.
Blood and Milk in Medieval ImageryThe wall painting Plague Image (also named the Image of Scourge, Mater omnium, The Virgin of Mercy, Our Lady of Protection, Mary the Mediatrix, Double Intercession, ...Combined Intercession, Our Lady’s Intercession etc.) in the Church of St. Primus in #rna near Kamnik in Slovenia, executed in 1504, at the end of the Middle Ages and at the dawn of the Renaissance in Central Europe, reflects well the passage between the two worlds of imagination and their visual representation. The triangular composition – with God the Father, the universal entity, at its apex, and lower with Christ exposing his wounds (Man of Sorrows, Imago pietatis) on the left, and Virgin Mary on the right, with her bosom bare – determines the believer’s perception. The scene combines the notions of birth, symbolized by the charity of Mary offering her milk, and death, symbolized by the cruelty of blood shed by Christ and the menacing sword of God the Father. At the time of their realization, the figures of Christ and Mary were meant to be spiritual, imaging the mysteries of the Eucharist and the Incarnation. The present text examines the question as to what extent the believers of the past connected, in their imagination, Christ’s nakedness and Mary’s bosom with parts of the body of a common human. The masked eroticism of the two figures put a stamp on this suggestive image which in the course of history provoced various reactions...

Ubuntu je široko razumljen kao teorija morala sa širinom dovoljnom da objasni što se smatra ispravnim ljudskim ponašanjem, kao i to što znači biti osoba. Razumljen u osnovnom obliku, Ubuntu je ...relacijska teorija o ljudskoj interakciji, a moglo bi se reći da je glavni fokus na način življenja s golom svijesti o potrebitoj međuovisnosti među ljudima – vrsti međuovisnosti koja omogućuje da zajednica ostaje cjelovita. Ovdje se želim osvrnuti na meta-etičku analizu Ubuntu filozofije, pri čemu ispitujem mogućnost ljubavi kao njene osnove. Ono što je zanimljivost Ubuntu filozofije u ovom meta-etičkom smislu nije to kakvo ponašanje pobuđuje u ljudima, nego kakva se vrlina nalazi u njezinoj osnovi.
Rousseauov utjecaj na Rawlsov izvoran argument za pravdu kao poštenje neki su autori primijetili, ali malo je njih raspravljalo o Rousseauovu utjecaju na Rawlsovu psihologiju morala koja sačinjava ...prvi dio njegova argumenta o stabilnosti. Argumentirat ću da Rawlsov iskaz o moralnom razvoju podudara i zasniva se na Rousseauovu konceptu amour propre. Napose tvrdim da je (1) Rawlsova teza da osjećaj za pravdu proizlazi iz ljubavi i prijateljstva prikaz Rousseauove teze da moralni sentimenti proizlaze iz prirodnih sentimenata, da se (2) Rawlsovo objašnjenje o tome kako zadobivamo reciprocitet dispozicija zasniva na Rousseauovu objašnjenju kako amour-propre može biti produžen u smisao pravde, te da (3) Rawlsova misao o principu simpatije odgovara Rousseauovim mislima o suosjećajnosti.
