An abnormality in muscular tone, lack of postural control, and a lack of coordination are all linked to the retention of primitive and immature postural reflexes. The Purpose of this study aimed of ...detecting which therapeutic approach is more effective in integrating retained primitive reflexes, either Masgutova neuro-sensorimotor reflex integration or Sensory integration (SI) program.
Forty children with spastic diplegic cerebral palsy (CP) (11 girls and 29 boys), involved in the current study and their ages ranged from 3 to 6 years old. They were divided at random into two groups (A and B), patients in the study group (A) (n = 20) were treated by Masgutova neuro-sensorimotor reflex integration program (MNRI) while those of study group (B) (n = 20), were subjected to Sensory integration program (SIP), A standardized physical treatment regimen was provided to both groups (Stretching exercise, Strengthening exercise, and facilitation of developing motor milestones) All children were evaluated by using GMFM-88 and (PDMS-2) reflexes subtest before and after treatment that lasted for three successive months at a frequency of three sessions per week.
There was a statistically substantial increase in GMFM scores and control of primitive reflexes post treatment in each group compared to those of the pretreatment mean values (p > 0.05). There was also a statistically non-significance difference between group A and group B regarding post treatment results (p > 0.05).
SI and MNRI programs can equally be used in the treatment of children with spastic CP who suffer from retained primitive reflexes and delayed gross motor function.

The purpose of the study is – to develop fitness-technology for 30-35 year old women to increase physical fitness and body sculpt improvement.
Material and methods. The study was performed from at ...the premises of lyceum "Perspektyva", Zaporizhzhia. It was attended by 83 women aged 30-35, who were divided into experimental and control groups. All women were classified in the main medical group. The fitness-technology is combination of theoretical and practical blocks. The fitness-technology was developed for 8 months and consisted of 3 stages: preparatory (duration – 8 weeks, intensity – 40-50% maximal oxygen consumption (MOC), main (duration – 16 weeks, intensity in the range from 50% to 75% MOC) and adaptation (duration 8 weeks, intensity – 75-85% MOC). At the beginning and at the end of the research, all women followed the control tests, which allowed to determine the level of physical fitness and to determine the indicators of their body structure.
Results. The highest increase in indicators was in the tests: "Floor dip" control group (CG) increased by 14,29% and experimental group (EG) increased by 24,57%; "Static strength endurance of the shoulder strength" CG increased by 8,00% and EG increased by 21,00%; "Static strength endurance of the back muscles" CG increased by 10,53% and EG increased by 20,05%. "Angled position" CG increased by 25,00% and in the EG increased by 38,33%; "Middle split" CG increased by 18,52% and EG increased by 29,85%. After the introduction of fitness-technology, the indicators "Body Mass Index" decreased in both groups and were able to return to "normal": 24,73 - control group and 22,05 - experimental group. The indicators of the experimental group were better due to the using a block system, which allowed to adjust the fitness technology for each woman on every of the three stages in the fitness-technology.
Conclusion. The highest absolute increment of physical fitness indicators in experimental and control groups was found in such motor abilities as flexibility (р<0,01) and strength (р<0,01, р<0,05). The obtained percentage increase in anthropometric measures shows, that for the selected age group we have developed the right fitness-technology for the body sculpt.
The aim of the research is to determine the relations and influences of motor abilities on the performance of some elements of the basketball techniques in the 7th and 8th graders. The study included ...85 respondents, students of 7th and 8th grade of elementary school “Prekounje” from Bihać. The motor status assessment system was represented by the 12 variables (three variables each to assess coordination, explosive strength, flexibility and speed), while 4 situational-motoric tests were used to assess the success of the performance of the elements of basketball techniques: 1. Throwing the ball with both hands against the wall and catching it for 30 seconds (BHLR30), 2. Dribbling the ball with the hand in a slalom (VLRS), 3. Throwing the ball into the basket for 30 seconds (ULK30), 4. Lay-ups for 30 seconds (PNK30). Basic central and dispersion parameters were calculated for all variables which confirmed the normality of the distribution, and the relations between spaces were determined by using the canonical correlation analysis. Values obtained by canonical correlation analysis indicate very high correlation between basic motor abilities and basketball skills.
Cerebral Palsy (CP) is a group of non-progressive brain disorders causing movement, posture, and motor function impairments. Cerebral Visual Impairment (CVI) affects visual pathways, affecting ...clarity of vision, visual fields, and occulomotor incoordination. Symptoms vary in nature and severity due to the complexity of the visual cortex. Physiotherapy (PT) is essential for treating CP, promoting physical, mental, and social well-being. Physical therapists also teach parents, how to care for their children at home, including feeding, bathing, dressing, and other activities. CVI is often linked to CP and can lead to various visual problems, including reduced visual guidance of movement. To effectively manage this condition, a multidisciplinary approach is required, as children with CVI often have neurological deficits in addition to their visual problems. Visual function assessment involves measuring thresholds or limits for each eye, while functional vision assessment is conducted in the child’s environment with both eyes open. Levels of vision can be classified into light perception, intermittent fixation, reliable focus, constant attention to small objects, and reliable visual acuity. Children with Visual Difficulties (CVI) exhibit distinct visual behaviours and require proper training. Sensory room training improves gross and fine motor abilities, and early intervention reduces issues associated with these diseases. Physical therapy interventions are very important for this population’s health and wellness, which can be focused on acquiring and improving independence in motor abilities, visual function, coordination, balance and general health improvement. Children with CVI are at danger of developing neurological dysfunction. An early intervention and adequate training for young CP children with CVI can improve motor abilities and reduce issues associated with these diseases. The following review will help to understand briefly about visual impairments in patients with CP, mainly focusing on new therapeutic interventions following visual impairments that are effective and easily administered.
