The papers contained in this booklet were presented at the transnational conference “Employment/Working Conditions, Occupational Safety and Health of Posted Workers” in Ljubljana, Slovenia (15 ...February 2017). The conference brought together experts (researchers and practitioners) from several European countries to discuss the existing and new challenges related to OSH (occupational safety and health), labour, and working conditions of posted workers. The conference served as the launch event of the POOSH project, financed by the European Comission (Programme EaSI PROGRESS) and led by Dr. Kristina Toplak from the Slovenian Migration Institute at ZRC SAZU. The booklet is covering the topic of the OSH of posted workers from several angles. The first part is framed around contributions given by researchers working in the field of labor mobility, with the focus on the occupational safety and health of posted workers. The second part contains contributions from practitioners working in NGOs, trade unions or Ministries of Labour who presented their work as well as discussed national and transnational legislations related to the OSH of posted workers.
Stanovanjske soseske, ki sta jih v Katmanduju z različnimi tehnikami zgradila javni in zasebni sektor, zagotavljajo slabo urbano okolje ter ne rešujejo dovolj učinkovito socialnih in kulturnih potreb ...stanovalcev. Poleg tega ne prispevajo dovolj k oblikovanju občutka pripadnosti skupnosti in se slabo povezujejo s preostalim grajenim okoljem, pri čemer ljudje na načrtno zgrajenih območjih ne občutijo pripadnosti kraju in se tako počutijo kot brezdomci. Čeprav je tradicionalna soseska v starem mestnem jedru nekoč imela številne značilnosti dobre stanovanjske soseske, danes hitro propada. Stanovalci omenjenih sosesk se teh težav ne zavedajo preveč. Ker obstoječi pravni in institucionalni okviri niso ustrezni in učinkoviti, ne morejo rešiti opisanih težav. Tako je za prihodnji razvoj stanovanjskih sosesk treba razviti oblikovalske smernice, ki se morajo izvajati strogo, ob tem pa je treba okrepiti tudi družbeno-kulturne dejavnosti, kot je navezovanje stikov.
Članek obravnava nekatere geografske vidike trajnostnega razvoja na območju severnega Jadrana v Republiki Hrvaški. Ta občutljiva regija se sooča s problemi urejanja prostora, oskrbe z vodo, ravnanja ...z odpadki, prometa in energetike, še zlasti v času turistične sezone, ko se močno povečajo obremenitve infrastrukture v obalnem območju, kjer je velika koncentracija prebivalstva in turističnih zmogljivosti. Dodatne okoljske probleme prinaša načrtovana gradnja naftovoda v okviru rusko-hrvaškega projekta Družba-Adria.

However, all these data need to be collected and interpreted. With the first manual presenting palynology, archaeobotany and archaeozoology fields of research in Slovenian language, this task should be more easily achievable.
The concept of health-promoting leadership focuses on the interaction between the organization and the individual by identifying components able to positively influence employees’ working conditions. ...In the present study, the effects of health-promoting leadership and transformational leadership on the employees’ recovery–stress balance are investigated. In an online study, 212 Slovenian workers were asked about their perceptions of their direct supervisors and their work-related stress and recovery. The results showed that both leadership styles have a significant effect on employees’ recovery at the workplace, which mediated the relationship between leadership and work-related stress.
Ena od najpomembnejših nalog (trajnostnega) prostorskega načrtovanja mest je zagotavljanje kakovosti bivanja in zdravega življenjskega okolja. Oboje urejamo predvsem v okviru omrežja javnega ...prostora, v mestnih parkih, na trgih, ulicah, v gozdovih, na obrežjih in podobno. Poleg javnega prostora, ki je javen po lastništvu in rabi, postaja vse pomembnejši za javnost odprt zasebni prostor mest. Gre za prostor v zasebni lasti in javni rabi. Obsega zasebne objekte in njihove zunanje površine, kot so zelenice, ploščadi, atriji, pasaže, trgi in ulice v trgovskih centrih in kinematografih ter podobno. Omrežje za javnost odprtega zasebnega prostora v naših mestih nastaja nenačrtovano in predvsem v skladu z (ekonomskimi) interesi lastnikov. V prispevku predstavljeni izsledki raziskave kažejo, da lahko za javnost odprt zasebni prostor v večji meri kot zdaj prinese dopolnitev in obogatitev omrežja mestnega javnega prostora, s čimer bi imel pomembnejši vpliv na zagotavljanje kakovosti bivanja in zdravja ljudi. Prvi pogoj za to je dobro lastniško in fizično urejeno omrežje javnega prostora, na katero se navezujejo za javnost odprti zasebni prostori. Po analogiji s planinskimi pešpotmi, ki že tvorijo obsežno slovensko omrežje za javnost odprtega zasebnega prostora zunaj mest, je predlagano načrtno urejanje omrežja za javnost odprtega zasebnega prostora v mestih. Prvi korak je lahko popolnoma konkreten: opredelitev teh prostorov kot posebne kategorije prostora, ki jo je mogoče uvajati v urbanistično prakso na lokalni ravni – v načrte parcelacije pri prostorskih načrtih. Smiseln naslednji korak je postopna uveljavitev v predpisih.
Priročnik za obvladovanje psihosocialnih tveganj in absentizma s pomočjo orodja OPSA ('A handbook for managing psychosocial risks and absenteeism with OPSA tool') is an integral part of the new, ...freely available tool aimed at management of psychosocial risks and health-related absenteeism (tool OPSA), which also incorporates a questionnaire and an Excel file for recording and evaluation of data from the questionnaire. Besides introducing the problem of psychosocial burdens experienced by employees at their workplace and beyond, this handbook can be used as a useful instrument for designing a various promotional and preventive arrangements which bettering employees’ health and well-being in their working settings, as suggested by recent guidelines for psychosocial risks management. A handbook is based on interactive chapters, including also numerous links to supportive health promotion websites in order to facilitate the preparation of adequate measures and related activities, commonly carried out by professionals in the field of health and safety at work. A special chapter is dedicated to instructions for working with the Excel file of OPSA tool, enabling an assessment of employees’ psychosocial burdens and risks of developing an excessive stress, absenteeism, presenteeism, turnover and experiencing of workplace violence.
Indikatorji trajnostnega razvoja prikazujejo statistične vrednosti, ki merijo kapaciteto celotnega sistema za zadovoljevanje potreb današnjih in prihodnjih generacij. Indikatorji kažejo stanje in ...trende, kako se premikamo proti zastavljenim ciljem. So orodje s katerim merimo napredek. Namenjeni so različnim uporabnikom: širši javnosti, politikom, strokovni javnosti, zato morajo biti pripravljeni tako, da predstavljajo poenostavljene informacije, ki so relevantne za doseganje trajnostnega razvoja.
