The cultivation of local cultural values through the Panji course at the Tourism Studies Program, Ciputra University Surabaya, has been running since 2015 until now. This study aims to describe the ...millennial perspective on the benefits of Panji's course in daily life and future work. The research method is qualitatively using thematic analysis. The research results show that the informants of this study were students who took the Panji course for one semester and Panji's expert as a validator. The conclusions of this study are as firstly, Panji inspires positive values that are relevant in today's life; second, Panji is a spirit that inspires future work, both as professionals and entrepreneurs in the tourism sector. It is hoped that the Panji Millennial Perspective is useful for youth regarding the Benefits of College.

Nilai-nilai kearifan lokal sangat dibutuhkan untuk membangun ...karakter anak-anak di masa ini. Wayang Topeng Jombang merupakan seni pertunjukan rakyat yang menyimpan nilai Panji. Tujuan penulisan ini adalah mengkaji nilai-nilai Panji dalam Wayang Topeng di Jombang serta relevansinya bagi Pendidikan katrakter saat ini. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif analitis dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Pertunjukan Wayang Topeng Jombang ini merupakan onjek material, sementara kajian nilai merupakan objek formal dalam penelitian ini. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi langsung, wawancara mendalam dan studi dokumen. Analisis fenomenologi Creswell digunakan untuk menganalisis data penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai budaya Panji yang masih relevan dalam Pendidikan karakter saat ini adalah nilai kepahlawanan, nilai nilai pengabdian dan perjuangan, nilai kesuburan dan nilai asketis. Nilai-nilai Panji tersebut masih sangat relevan untuk ditanamkan kepada anak-anak sebagai penerus bangsa. Nilai-nilai Panji ini dapat dijadikan sebagai media pendidikan karakter yang berfungsi sebagai pengimbang lajunya teknologi khususnya media sosial yang sudah tidak dapat dibendung lajunya dalam kehidupan saat ini.
Interpretation of I Gusti Anglurah Panji Sakti is a title of musical composition that interprets or reinterprets the figure of King Panji Sakti who has smart characters, courageous, sympathetic, ...accommodating, and always close to his subordinates and thick with the Patriotism nature of anti-hegemony, anti-imperialism and anti monopoly in a jazz composition. In the process of its creation, it was motivated by an interest in the figure of Panji Sakti as a King who deserved to be a role model, because of his nationalist and patriotic character which according to the composer was very good in build character of the nation, evident from his living history in speech stories and folklore, through this work the composer also hopes to contribute in reviving the Panji Sakti figure to theother people. This article aims to provide an overview of the process of transforming the figure of King Panji Sakti into jazz music. The process of transformation into jazz music is done by the method of creation from exploration which begins with the study of literature on the history of Panji Sakti and research.in the improvisation step, the composer imagine to find suitable motives to implementing the figure of Panji Sakti and design it so that it becomes the main melodies in this work, then rests on Pono Banoe's opinion about the elements of music namely melody, rhythm and harmony the creator explored the main melody with chords and rhythm which was deemed suitable for this work so that it became a complete musical composition, after which this work was copied into musical notes, and the result is music compositions with a tempo of 100 and beats 4/4, 5 / 4, and 7/4 with key centers G / 1 # (one sharp) and song forms AI, AII, B, and AIII, at the forming step the composer determines the instrument, and chooses supporting musicians who will help in the process of this music.
Artikel ini akan dibahas terkait best practice pengembangan dan proses validasi penciptaan “karya seni pertunjukan teater anak berbasis kebudayaan Panji” yang mengadopsi dari kisah Panji dan memiliki ...nilai kebaharuan pada masa pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian pengembangan penciptaan karya seni ini dilakukan melalui tahap konseptual, operasional, dan validasi ahli. Tahap konseptual meliputi (1) penulisan naskah, (2) merancang desain pertunjukkan, (3) pembuatan desain gerak, (4) pembuatan desain music, (5) pembuatan desain properti, dan (6) pembuatan desain artistik/setting; Tahap operasional meliputi (1) casting aktor, (2) proses pembuatan pertunjukkan secara keseluruhan, dan (3) tata rias dan busana. Melalui proses validasi ahli, produk dinyatakan memiliki tingkat originalitas, kebaharuan, dan keterterapan karya yang tinggi/valid untuk digunakan.
This article examines a contemporary Muslim sacred placemaking in a predominantly Balinese Hindu society in the largest Muslim country Indonesia. Through a series of ethnographic fieldworks, it ...specifically addresses the practice of the sacred placemaking in a remote Muslim village Pegayaman in North Bali. The article argues that a recently invented narrative about the seventeenth century founder of Buleleng Kingdom, King Panji Sakti, is essential in the practice of Muslim sacred placemaking. Miraculous stories and place-centred religious rituals are important elements in the making of the sacred place. It further argues that Muslim sacred placemaking in contemporary Bali reverberates the minority’s struggle for claiming the indigeneity of Islam on the island and serves as a symbolic solution for the Muslim minority group in the predominantly Balinese Hindu society and culture in the largest Muslim country Indonesia.
The representation of Javanese cultural ethic in the comic Panji Koming can be identified from a few scenes, for example, physical action, speech and moral values through education and learning ...process since childhood in Javanese culture. The comic performs the Javanese principles and ethics in each edition. Javanese society upholds the manners. Accordingly, respect is the key for harmonious living in the society as a whole. The respect is shown in various ways: gesture, hand movements, voice, greeting, and the level of the language used. However, the discourse on Javanese female stereotype is clearly viewed, because of the simple representation that reduces women to a series of exaggerated characteristics and usually imply a negative connotation. The stereotype has reduced, naturalized, created a basis, and set a difference. While in the perspective of Islamic education the educational values are taught so that their children have good manners and language reflecting the values of Javanese custom which is still applied and maintained.
This research aims to know the intrinsic and extrinsic elements of the panji story contained in the script Panji Kuda Narawangsa which is translated by Moelyono Sastronaryatmo and R. Aj. Indri ...Nitrani and its implications for literature learning in high school. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with content analysis technique. The focus of this research is the element of the banner story in the script Panji Kuda Narawangsa. The conclusions of this study are: (1) the most dominant theme in this story is the theme of romance, the other themes are the theme of incarnation and war, (2) there are main figures, supporting figures, and supporting figures, (3) setting of place and time dominated the story, (4) extrinsic elements of the panji story are religious values, cultural values, social values, and moral values.

Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui unsur intrinsik dan ekstrinsik cerita Panji yang terdapat dalam naskah Panji Kuda Narawangsa yang dialihbahasakan oleh Moelyono Sastronaryatmo dan R. Aj. Indri Nitrani dan implikasinya terhadap pembelajaran sastra di SMA. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik analisis isi. Kesimpulan penelitian ini yaitu: (1) tema yang paling dominan dalam cerita Panji ini adalah tema percintaan, tema-tema yang lain adalah tema penjelmaan dan peperangan, (2) terdapat tokoh utama, tokoh pembantu, dan tokoh pendukung, (3) latar tempat dan latar waktu mendominasi cerita ini, (4) unsur ekstrinsik cerita panji berupa nilai agama, nilai budaya, nilai sosial, dan nilai moral.

A bstract There are about 60 panels with narrative reliefs from the area of Trowulan in East Java depicting mountains, rivers, bridges, trees, fields, dwellings, pendopo, and palaces. A male figure ...wearing a cap-like headdress accompanied by a little panakawan-like figure, walks along a cobbled path through a beautiful landscape. The figures are carved in the simple style of East Javanese reliefs on Majapahit temples. The predominance of nature, in amazing detail, is unusual compared to other narrative temple reliefs. The exact provenance is difficult to determine. The artefacts are scattered in museums all over the world: the majority in Trowulan, as well as a large convolute in Jakarta, in Amsterdam, and elsewhere. Fixing the order of the panels is a challenge. This paper discusses two major topics: (A) presenting depictions of landscape and nature in visual art; (B) comparison with Old Javanese texts narrating journeys through landscape and nature. These exercises will provide some conclusions about the function of landscape and nature in the reliefs and their purpose at their original sites. Questions on provenance will also be raised, including the documentation practice of the colonial Dutch and Indonesian Archaeological Services. A number of the panels have been documented by the OD (Dutch Oudheidkundige Dienst), archived in OD photos entitled “Reliefs from Trowulan”, other panels have been documented as being from the site Menak Jinggo in Trowulan. In my paper, I call the reliefs under investigation the “Trowulan reliefs”. N.J. Krom’s (1923) suggestion of doing research on the convolute of these reliefs has never been undertaken, now 100 years later it is time to do so.
