Etnomatematika merupakan konsep matematika yang terdapat di dalam suatu budaya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengkaji etnomatematika pada tradisi methik pari yang ada di Desa Pamotan, Kecamatan ...Dampit, Kabupaten Malang, Jawa Timur. Desain penelitian ini yaitu etnografi. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tradisi methik pari telah menjadi kepercayaan dan kebiasaan yang dilaksanakan secara turun temurun oleh masyarakat tani Desa Pamotan. Tradisi ini juga dilakukan sebagai bentuk ucapan syukur atas kelancaran dalam bercocok tanam. Aktivitas fundamental matematis yang diperoleh meliputi menghitung yang memuat konsep peluang, penjumlahan, pengurangan dan pembagian, menempatkan yang memuat konsep perbandingan, mendesain yang memuat bentuk-bentuk geometri seperti persegi, persegipanjang, lingkaran dan kerucut, bermain yang memuat konsep penentuan nilai optimum dan menjelaskan yang memuat konsep himpunan.
Objectives The purpose of this study was to assess the level of knowledge, attitudes, and practices (KAP) of university students in China regarding the need for PARI and public health education. ...Methods A cross-sectional online and offline survey was conducted in China website through Wenjuanxing and in different cities such as Changsha Hunan Province, Shanghai, Chongqing and in different public scenarios, such as hospitals, universities, and commercial venues between September 1 and September 7, 2023, using a 28-question questionnaire designed and reviewed by multidisciplinary experts. Results A total of 4,096 respondents were recruited for this study, with 3,957 valid questionnaires. The mean knowledge score was 1.84 ± 0.52, the mean attitude score was 2.12 ± 0.51, and the mean practice score was 3.18 ± 0.55. Regression analyses found that: region, grade, school, and weekly anaerobic exercise time were influences on the knowledge score; region, grade, school, and weekly anaerobic exercise time were influences on the attitude score; region, grade, school attended, weekly anaerobic exercise time and weekly anaerobic exercise time as influences on the practice score. Subgroup analyses revealed that undergraduates from southern regions and 985 schools had higher knowledge attitude scores and lower practice scores. As the grade level increased, the knowledge and attitude scores showed a V-shaped trend and the behavior scores showed an inverted V-shaped trend. Correlation analysis found a positive correlation between knowledge and attitude scores, and a negative correlation between both and behavior, respectively. The public health education needs survey found that undergraduate students generally preferred guided instruction methods and content centered on the RICE principles, they preferred learning through books and pamphlets, and they were happy to see relevant content promoted in the campus environment. Conclusion This study shows that Chinese undergraduate students have less knowledge, neutral attitudes, and good behaviors regarding PARI prevention. Special attention should be paid to meeting the needs of undergraduate students for public health education to equip them with relevant knowledge so that they can better behave in PARI prevention.
Objectives The objective of this study is to develop a consensus among experts on a comprehensive and scientifically sound physical activity-related injuries (PARI) public health education program ...specifically tailored for undergraduates. Methods This study designed three rounds of expert consultation by using a Delphi method. A panel of 30 experts from the fields of public health education, sports medicine, anesthesia pain, emergency medicine, and emergency nursing participated in the study. Results This study successfully established a consensus among experts on the goals, content, teaching methods, and time allocation for the PARI Public Health Education Program for undergraduates. The program encompasses 10 objectives divided into 2 main categories: professional knowledge and skill goals. In terms of content, it includes 5 primary indicators, 22 secondary indicators, and 56 detailed tertiary indicators. Six teaching methods were identified as suitable. Additionally, a typical 60-min educational session was segmented into eight parts, with a proposed time arrangement for each, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all topics. Conclusion The consensus achieved in this study on the PARI Public Health Education Program for undergraduates lays a crucial foundation for the advancement of health literacy and proactive health management within this demographic. We presented a comprehensive framework for PARI public health education, integrating diverse learning methods and content areas. This systematic approach not only enriched the resources available for undergraduate health education, especially of PARI but also had the potential to significantly impact the implementation and effectiveness of health promotion strategies.
Tourism is a multi-actor system in which each involved actor is allowed to intervene in its development and operationalization. Analyzing the relationship among the actors of tourism (stakeholders) ...is a valuable guideline to determine the appropriate pattern of governance. This study aimed to identify stakeholders, describe actors' strengths and attitudes toward marine tourism development goals, and analyze the connectivity patterns among tourism actors in Pari Island, Jakarta, Indonesia. This study was done by conducting in-depth interviews (September 2022) involving 23 respondents as tourism stakeholders’ representatives. A focus group discussion was also done (October 2022) to obtain feedback on the interview results. We used Matrix of Alliances and Conflicts: Tactics, Objectives, and Recommendations (MACTOR) analysis to answer the research objectives. Results showed that marine protected area activists, local travel agents, community leaders, and local citizens were the central actors playing a crucial role in balancing various goals for tourism development. Fortunately, there were no divergences detected among actors. Thus, the possibility of contraposition or conflict between actors is minimal, and all actors have the potential to be invited to work together in realizing sustainable tourism in Pari Island.
Il progetto di natura interdisciplinare qui presentato è incentrato su un’esperienza di comunicazione fra classi di ordini diversi della scuola dell’obbligo e di apprendimento collaborativo in ...matematica. Gli allievi di due classi prime della scuola media di Minusio hanno assunto il ruolo di docenti: hanno preparato un itinerario sui triangoli, costituito da alcuni video didattici di introduzione all’attività e dalle rispettive schede di accompagnamento, da sottoporre ai bambini di due classi terze elementari del locarnese; hanno gestito le videochiamate e i lavori di gruppo con i bambini; hanno risposto alle loro curiosità, e infine hanno corretto i loro elaborati. Ad attività conclusa, i ragazzi di scuola media hanno ideato una serie di giochi atti a consolidare gli apprendimenti dei bambini e hanno preparato dei rapporti di sintesi, insieme ai rispettivi docenti di italiano, nei quali hanno esposto, in modalità diverse, il loro vissuto personale e quanto hanno appreso sulla comunicazione e sulla professione docente.
Natural fiber spun yarns are anticipated for use in reinforcement of composite materials because natural fibers are environmentally friendly. The form of the spun yarns is unidirectional, so that a ...great increase in mechanical properties is also anticipated, as comparedto randomly oriented short natural fibers. In this study, a continuous ramie spun yarn/PP composite tape wasproduced by developing multipin assisted resin impregnation (M-PaRI) process (in ref.4), acontinuously producing method, in which a die and a roller system following M-PaRI process were newly set. Tensile tests were conducted to measure mechanical properties of the resultant composite tapes. Results showed that the tensile strength of the composite tapes was lower than thatof the composite strands described in ref.4. However, the elastic modulus of the composite tapes showed a higher value than that of the composite strands, exhibiting less statistical variation in the elastic modulus as well. Furthermore, using the least squares method and the first-order second-moment (FOSM) method, a reliability theory, the present study examines the reasons why the tape's elastic modulus can change into a reliable property.

The pari-mutuel model is a betting scheme that has its origins in horse racing, and that has been applied in a number of contexts, mostly economics. In this paper, we consider the set of probability measures compatible with a pari-mutuel model, characterize its extreme points, and investigate the properties of the associated lower and upper probabilities. We show that the pari-mutuel model can be embedded within the theory of probability intervals, and prove necessary and sufficient conditions for it to be a belief function or a minitive measure. In addition, we also investigate the combination of different pari-mutuel models and their definition on product spaces.
