The problem of waste due to domestic and tourism activities in Pari Island is a problem that has not been resolved until now. This study aims to discover how to improve waste treatment management by ...the community and how to improve waste treatment management by the government in Pari Island Kepulauan Seribu, North Jakarta. Research results show that participation by local communities might involve separating waste at the household level, but the role of the government to provide facilities and infrastructure for transporting waste from the island to the mainland is still very low.
El problema de los desechos debido a las actividades domésticas y turísticas en la isla de Pari es un problema que no se ha resuelto hasta ahora. Este estudio tiene como objetivo descubrir cómo mejorar la gestión del tratamiento de residuos por parte de la comunidad y cómo mejorar la gestión del tratamiento de residuos por parte del gobierno en la isla de Pari Kepulauan Seribu, en el norte de Yakarta. Los resultados de la investigación muestran que la participación de las comunidades locales podría implicar la separación de los desechos a nivel de los hogares, pero el papel del gobierno para proporcionar instalaciones e infraestructura para transportar los desechos desde la isla hasta el continente aún es muy bajo.
Diversi studiosi hanno di recente approfondito la competenza argomentativa applicata a processi di problem solving da parte degli studenti già dagli ultimi anni della scuola dell’infanzia. In questo ...articolo viene presentata un’indagine effettuata in una classe III primaria di Imola (Bologna) durante l’anno scolastico 2018/2019, avente come focus di interesse l’analisi dell’argomentazione durante la risoluzione di problemi. Ci si riferisce nello specifico al problem solving quale approccio alla risoluzione di tre problemi matematici prendendo come riferimento metodologico il Progetto ArAl e il Rally Matematico Transalpino, nei quali emerge l’importanza di tale approccio all’interno delle prassi didattiche in matematica, con attenzione al linguaggio specifico della disciplina e all’utilizzo dell’argomentazione per sviluppare e riconoscere i processi emotivi e metacognitivi tramite il ragionamento e la riflessione.

Several easy to understand and computationally tractable imprecise probability models, like the Pari-Mutuel model, are derived from a given probability measure P0. In this paper we investigate a ...family of such models, called Nearly-Linear (NL). They generalise a number of well-known models, while preserving a simple mathematical structure. In fact, they are linear affine transformations of P0 as long as the transformation returns a value in 0,1. We study the properties of NL measures that are (at least) capacities, and show that they can be partitioned into three major subfamilies. We investigate their consistency, which ranges from 2-coherence, the minimal condition satisfied by all, to coherence, and the kind of beliefs they can represent. There is a variety of different situations that NL models can incorporate, from generalisations of the Pari-Mutuel model, the ε-contamination model and other models to conflicting attitudes of an agent towards low/high P0-probability events (both prudential and imprudent at the same time), or to symmetry judgments. The consistency properties vary with the beliefs represented, but not strictly: some conflicting and partly irrational moods may be compatible with coherence. In a final part, we compare NL models with their closest, but only partly overlapping, models, neo-additive capacities and probability intervals.
Theory commonly posits agents who care both for the level of public good provision and the extent to which they personally contribute to the cause. Simply put, agents feel “warm glow” from the ...donations they make. I discuss a lottery fundraiser conducted in the field devised to exogenously vary the incentive to give and identify the structural parameters of warm glow. Estimates suggest that for participants claiming warm glow as their primary motivation, its shape is increasing and concave. Nevertheless, welfare analysis suggests that warm glow is unlikely to be the only important factor in the decision to give.
Several simplified uncertainty models are derived from a given probability P0 of which they are a perturbation. Among these, we introduced in previous work Nearly-Linear (NL) models. They perform a ...linear affine transformation of P0 with barriers, obtaining a couple of conjugate lower/upper probabilities, and generalise several well known neighbourhood models. We classified NL models, partitioning them into three subfamilies, and established their basic consistency properties in 5. In this paper we investigate how to extend NL models that avoid sure loss by means of their natural extension, a basic, although operationally not always simple, inferential procedure in Imprecise Probability Theory. We obtain formulae for computing directly the natural extension in a number of cases, supplying a risk measurement interpretation for one of them. The results in the paper also broaden our knowledge of NL models: we characterise when they avoid sure loss, express some of them as linear (or even convex) combinations of simpler models, and explore relationships with interval probabilities.

El propósito de este trabajo es explorar las posibilidades de colmar las lagunas normativas constitucionales mediante el uso de argumentos lógicos y cuasilógicos. Para ello, se distingue entre ...lagunas aparentes y auténticas: las primeras se resuelven mediante inferencias lógicas a partir de normas promulgadas (argumento lógico sistemático, argumento a contrario); en cambio, las lagunas auténticas no se pueden integrar mediante argumentos lógicos, sino, a lo sumo, mediante argumentos cuasilógicos (por analogía, a fortiori, a pari). Para el uso correcto de estos argumentos, se estudia, en general, qué enunciados jurídicos constitucionales pueden ser objeto de interpretación restrictiva y cuáles no.
The potential of natural resources owned by the Wong Polo beach tourism area in the Pantai Cermin sub-district needs to be explored and developed into a tourism sector without good planning, which ...will result in loss and quality degradation of the area that is not expected. Based on the results of the study, it is shown that the identification of the physical aspects of the beach condition supports the development of beach tourism, which is one of the beach tourism destinations located in Hamlet XI, Kota Pari Village, Pantai Cermin District, Serdang Bedagai Regency, North Sumatra. This Wong Polo beach area has white sand beaches and Mangrove forest areas based on nature tourism and the pattern of structuring the zones in the Wong Polo beach area leads and is oriented towards the waters as well as to facilitate these tourist attractions into areas of a beach of interest visitors.
