The aim of the research was to determine the level and nature of risks occurring in the sign zone of indoor pools relating to required safety rules. The research was conducted at 29 ...facilities located in ten provinces. The method of qualitative field research was applied. It was found that at more than half of the examined indoor pools (51.7%) the A-8 prohibitory sign “jumping into water is prohibited” had the graphic form that was inconsistent with the binding provisions. The information signs: C-2 – “dangerous depth of water” and C-3 – “sudden drop” occurred only at 27.6% of examined facilities. Within the scope of non-legal signs – communicators it was found that there is no uniform manner of providing information. The symbols used is very diverse which causes chaos in the form of various markings. In order to improve the safety of persons using the indoor pools, activities aiming at developing and introducing uniform models of markings should be undertaken, which constitutes a necessary condition of full participation in modern physical culture.
Szacunek dla przeszłości oraz historii kraju i narodu cechuje człowieka mądrego, wrażliwego i dobrego. Nikt nie podważa potrzeby dbałości o nasze zabytki historii, sztuki, architektury; szanujemy je, ...bo liczą setki lat, nazywamy skarbami naszej kultury, troskliwie przechowujemy w pilnie strzeżonych muzeach. Ochrona przyrody i turystyka mają szansę harmonijnego współistnienia.
Pojęcie dachu odwróconego, tzw. zielonego dachu, stosunkowo niedawno zagościło w słowniku budowlanym, określając dach porośnięty roślinnością, a jednocześnie wskazując nowy kierunek we współczesnej ...architekturze miejskiej. Do niedawna dachy te uważano za ekstrawaganckie i zbędny luksus lub kojarzono je ze źródłem wilgoci i pleśni. Obecnie, gdy w dużych i ciasnych miastach coraz trudniej znaleźć "przyjazną" przestrzeń, np. teren parku lub ogrodu, dachy pokryte roślinnością stają się koniecznością. Prawidłowo wykonany zielony dach zdobi budynek i poprawia ekonomię jego użytkowania, urozmaica krajobraz miasta, stanowi atrakcyjne miejsce wypoczynku i rekreacji. Ponadto stanowi cenną biologicznie czynną powierzchnię - wpływa na wzrost bioróżnorodności i poprawia mikroklimat.(fragment tekstu)

A new mite genus, Weigmannia (Oribatida: Damaeidae), is proposed for the North-American species Porobelba parki described by Jacot (1937). It is distinguished from Porobelba Grandjean, 1936 based on ...differences in prodorsum morphology, the absence of an unpaired porose area on the notogaster and the development of notogastral setae. Porobelba and Weigmannia may be sister genera in a group that also includes Dameobelba Sellnick, 1929. Weigmannia parki n. comb. is redescribed in detail based on numerous adults and its ontogeny is described for the first time. Eleven states (USA) and provinces (Canada) are added to its known distribution, which now encompasses a region from Manitoba to New Brunswick in the north and Missouri to North Carolina in the south.
Within this research paper, the enforcement of agricultural policy measures for farms that have their agricultural lands within the Radensko Polje Landscape Park (RPLP) were studied. The purpose of ...the study was to evaluate the effectiveness of the additional payment for the extensive rearing of female bovine animals (ERB) and agrienvironmental measures (AE measures) in terms of maintaining extensive agricultural systems or transitions from intensive systems to sustainable ones. This is especially desirable in the protected areas that also include landscape parks. The results of the survey of farmers of RPLP showed that both the ERB and AE measures are inefficient and fail to encourage farmers to implement more extensive farming. The main reasons for the poor enforcement of claims for ERB are intensive livestock production (milk production or bovine animals fattening), and the lack of information about the possibility of claim enforcement for ERB. Regarding AE measures, the main reasons for the failure are burdensome conditions and low financial compensation. Inventories of the composition of plant species on sample grasslands showed that the conditions of the habitats are still relatively good, because a relatively large number of species of high conservation value is present.
