Leta 1934 so pred farno cerkvijo uprizorili igro Slehernik, leto kasneje na župnijskem vrtu pasijonsko igro Naše odrešenje in leta 1937 igro Veliki oder življenja. To so bile zelo zahtevne postavitve, tako v režijskem, kot tudi v organizacijskem pogledu. Režija je bila v rokah Vilija Platovška, kulise je pripravil in poslikal Ivan Dečman.Časopisni poročevalci so poročali o množičnem obisku. »Katoliška akcija je v Mozirju vprizorila med počitnicami šestkrat igro o trpljenju Jezusa Kristusa Naše odrešenje, ki jo je priredil in rešisiral gosp. Vilko Platovšek. Igralci so rešili svoje vloge nadvse pričakovanje dobro. Človek ne ve, komu bi dal prednost, kajti vse je bilo na višku: igralci, oder kot tak, slikarija, razsvetljava, obleka in drugo.
