Abstract Background and Aim: PowerPoint slides are commonly used to project class materials such as text and images, offering enhanced visual aids. However, preference among medical students has not ...been thoroughly explored. Therefore, we conducted this study to investigate the preference in PowerPoint slides and its delivery method among medical students. Materials and Methods: We conducted a cross-sectional observational study involving undergraduate medical students studying in any Indian medical college. An online survey was administered using a pre-tested questionnaire distributed through the Google Forms platform. The survey items encompassed overall preference, content and arrangement preference, diagram preference, text preference, access preference, and ambiance preference. Results: The study included 728 students, with a gender distribution of 66.35% boys and 33.65% girls. PowerPoint presentations were found helpful by 68.27% of students, while 53.85% found the class enjoyable. Preferences included major points in slides (81.73%), large text size (86.54%), and different colored headings (87.5%). Images aided understanding (85.58%), animations made the class interesting (92.31%), and access to slides before and after class was preferred. Students liked a dimly lit hall, teacher facing them, and the use of a laser pointer or stick. Font preferences were blue (45%) and black for body text (57%), with Verdana as the preferred font (89%). A white background was favored by 86% of students, with 67% preferring a clear background and 33% a designed or textured background. Conclusion: Medical students prefer PowerPoint slides with clear organization, large text, and visual aids such as images and animations. Accessibility to slides before and after classes is valued, and a conducive learning environment includes proper lighting, teacher–student interaction, and effective presentation tools. These insights can guide educators in creating more engaging and effective presentations for medical students.

As the world is switching over to renewable energy with solar energy as the most vital form of it, so it is essential to operate it in a manner that we can extract maximum efficiency from ...the photo voltic panels. But due to some uncalled for senarios when the PV panels are subjected to partial shading conditions its efficiency is greatly impacted. The MPPT here comes for its rescue, When PSC occurs the PV trajectories will be distinct and very complex due to various peaks available. The traditional MPPT techniques will fail to reach the Global Maximum Power Point and it usually stays at the Local Maximum Peak Point which surely would decline the performance and ability of the PV module. This research focuses on comparing the Particle Swarm Optimization approach and Perturb and Observe technique of MPPT for tracking peak power to identify the GMPP so as to attain the Maximum Power from the PV system. A rural area is selected as the demography of the location suits the proposed study . The load for the location is calculated and then both the algorithms are applied and there performance is analyzed in the study. The performance characteristics of the boost converter can be studied by varying its duty cycle with the two algorithms. This approach provides a high reliability robustness and proficiency towards MPP. The authenticity of this proposed algorithm was established using MATLAB/Simulink
Penelitian pengembangan ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan rancang bangun pembuatan media pembelajaran IPS di MI Al-Mu’awanah Kota Bekasi dalam mengantisipasi kebutuhan akan media pembelajaran yang ...lebih mudah dipahami siswa kelas VI dalam materi ASEAN Country, tujuan dari pembuatan media pembelajaran inovatif dengan metode komputer menggunakan powerpoint interaktif. Model penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan penelitian Model ADDIE prosedural dengan melalui lima tahap pengembangan yaitu tahap analisis Analyze, Desain Design, Pengembangan Development, Implementasi Implementation, dan Evaluasi Evaluation, metode penelitian dengan metode kualitatif deskriptif, hasil penelitian pada kelompok kecil mendapat nilai Postest siswa meningkat sebesar 0.55 berada direntang 0.3 ≤ g ≤0.70 artinya Cukup Layak dari pretest hasil belajar menggunakan NGain Score, validasi ahli media dengan kriteria baik atau layak sebesar 80% dari derajat penilaian dan nilai validasi cukup tinggi sebesar 84% derajat penilaian oleh ahli materi. Validasi instrument angket pada ujicoba penilaian tanggapan kelompok kecil dengan Cronbach’s Alpha, rata-rata validasi Produk pada ujicoba kelompok kecil adalah 0.9623 > Nilai rtabel 0.3783, rtabel pada df 20 = N-2 =20-2=18, sebesar 0.05=0.3783 berati rhitung valid, Cronbach’Alpha sebesar 3714.00 > 0.70, maka instrumen tes dinyatakan reliable.
This study aims to describe the process of developing interactive power point learning media for asking questions and giving opinions to class X students of SMK Hidayatul Mubtadi'in Kanigoro and to ...describe the results of developing interactive powerpoint learning media for learning materials asking questions and giving opinions to class X students Hidayatul Mubtadi'in Kanigoro Vocational School. In this research and development method refers to ADDIE model. The reason researchers use the ADDIE model in this study is because the ADDIE model has the right steps for the development of the media being developed (Branch, R.M 2009). After the powerpoint interactive learning media was finished, the researcher brought the interactive power point learning media to media material specialists for evaluation. Considering the percentage of experts' validation, namely (87.5%) media experts and (75.0%) material sheets validation. Furthermore, in the product category included in the "Valid" category as a complement to the media, the results of student answers were (62.10%). This means that interactive PowerPoint learning media is feasible to use.
Currently, learning media in various schools has become a very important element in the teaching process, because it can contain messages that will be conveyed to students / students during learning ...using illustrated teaching materials, one of which is at Baitul Arqam Junior High School which will try to apply learning by using PowerPoint-based serial image media in improving students' storytelling skills. This research uses a descriptive method of qualitative research type analysis. The descriptive method is a method in a study to solve, obtain information about a situation, assess, and determine the symptoms found, see or analyze the relationship between existing variables. The results of ni research showed that learning Arabic storytelling method by obtaining a sekor bbased on the Hasil table by students of Baitul Arqam Sumedang Junior High School obtained a score of 80% representation, which is very good. So, it can be concluded that the use of PowerPoint-based serialized image media is effectively applied to improve students' ability to tell Arabic stories.
Introduction. The article considers the aspects of using modern information technologies in the creating of presentations. Technologies for creating holographic 3D showcase presentations using ...well-known presentation applications are analyzed. One of the innovative devices and technologies for reproducing presentations is a holographic 3D showcase and holographic technologies. The operation of devices that are new to users require prior training or a significant amount of educational materials on the Internet. Optimizing the work process through the variability of the use of already known software will save time on training and avoid mistakes when operating new technological devices.
The purpose of the work is to investigate methods of developing content for a holographic 3D showcase using publicly available applications and to develop requirements for presentations that can be created on them.
The work highlights the research materials, in which the existing software for creating presentations were compared and the most optimal program was chosen. In the process of work the methods of scientific research “analysis” and “comparison” were applied. The requirements for the content of the holographic 3D showcase were analyzed and recommendations for the development of media content based on them were created.
Results. In the course of the analytical study, methodological guidelines for the development of presentation materials that would be able to be converted into 3D images by displaying them on a holographic 3D showcase were obtained.
Conclusions. The article describes the methodology for creating presentation materials for a holographic 3D showcase, which will allow optimizing the process of developing media materials by using Microsoft PowerPoint. Recommendations for the development of materials will help to understand more deeply the specific features of the functioning of the holographic 3D showcase. Penggunaan teknologi dan internet selama pembelajaran daring diharapkan dapat menolong siswa untuk konsentrasi saat belajar. Namun, fakta yang ditemukan di salah satu Sekolah Dasar di Tomohon di ...kelas II, menunjukan siswa tidak konsentrasi saat belajar. Terdapat siswa yang melakukan aktivitas lain yang tidak berkaitan dengan pembelajaran, seperti mengobrol, bermain, berjalan-jalan meninggalkan perangkat, dan menangis. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui penggunaan media powerpoint interaktif dalam mengupayakan konsentrasi belajar siswa kelas II SD. Metode yang digunakan kualitatif deskriptif, penelitian dilakukan di SD yang ada di Tomohon pada kelas dua dengan banyak subyek penelitian 28 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah hasil observasi, RPP, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan peran guru sebagai penuntun harus dapat membimbing siswa berjalan di dalam kebenaran, selama menggali setiap kompetensi yang dimiliki oleh siswa dan menolong siswa untuk kembali fokus pada tujuan penciptaan. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian adalah dengan media powerpoint interaktif guru dapat menarik perhatian siswa, sehingga selama pembelajaran daring siswa tetap konsentrasi. Dikarenakan powerpoint memiliki banyak fitur yang dapat dikreasikan menjadi sebuah pembelajaran yang kreatif dan menarik.
