Pandemija bolesti COVID-19 stvorila je pritisak na globalne lance opskrbe, među ostalim, velikim porastom potražnje medicinskih potrepština uz istovremena ograničenja kretanja, povećane troškove ...transporta i smanjenje dostupnosti radne snage. Već dugi niz godina, transport, distribucija i logistički procesi optimiraju se rješavanjem problema usmjeravanja vozila (engl. Vehicle Routing Problem – VRP). Optimiranje logističkih procesa posebno je važno u vrijeme pandemije kada su resursi ograničeni, a zastoji mogu ugroziti ljudske živote. Cilj ovog rada je pregledom literature istražiti utjecaj bolesti COVID-19 na rješavanje problema usmjeravanja vozila u praksi uslijed novih ograničenja i izazova.
The COVID-19 pandemic has, among other things, disrupted global supply chains, through a large increase in demand for medical supplies with simultaneous movement restrictions, increased transportation costs, and reduced labor availability. For many years, transport, distribution, and logistics processes have been optimized by solving the Vehicle Routing Problem (VRP). Optimizing logistics processes is especially important during a pandemic when resources are limited, and disruptions can endanger human lives. This paper aims to investigate the impact of COVID-19 on the Vehicle Routing Problem in practice due to new limitations and challenges by reviewing the literature.
Teamwork is not a new topic in social work. In a bid to further advance the field, this paper has three aims: to identify the factors most relevant to the definition of teamwork in social work, to ...define a team in social work and propose a definition of teamwork in social work, and to provide a typology that accounts for important aspects of teamwork in social work. The focused review (relying on certain aspects of a scoping study and systematic review) of 84 papers revealed four main factors of relevance to the definition of teamwork and team in social work: size, composition, aim (purpose) and the role (participation) of users. Definitions are given of team and teamwork in social work that are in harmony with contemporary concepts of social work like a working relationship (co-creation). A typology entailing three of four identified important factors is proposed while four types of teamwork in social work are illustrated with examples from a small European country.
Cilj istraživanja bio je utvrditi značenje i sadržaja koje je pojavljivanje bolesti COVID-19 imalo na području znanosti o sigurnosti u razdoblju od 2020. do 2022. Metodom Prizma autori su analizirali ...3.992 članka objavljena u časopisima Safety Science, Accident Analysis & Prevention, Journal of Safety Research, Safety and Health at Work, International Journal of Injury Control and Safety Promotion, Sigurnost te Delo in varnost. Utvrdili su da ta tematika nije privukla veliku pozornost jer ju je obrađivalo nešto više od 1 % autora iz 26 država svijeta. Tematika bolesti COVID-19 u najvećem broju slučajeva bila je obrađivana iz aspekta psihosocijalnih stresora radnoga okruženja (8 istraživanja), organizacijskih mjera za sprečavanje zaraze (4 istraživanja), osobne zaštitne opreme (4 istraživanja) i drugoga, kao što su složenost, sustavni pristup i analiza rizika (3 teorijska članka). Nitko od autora u sigurnosnoj struci „utemeljenoj na dokazima” nije prepoznao moguće opasnosti koje bi proizlazile iz ključnih pokazatelja poput čestoće i ozbiljnosti ozljeda te zdravstvenih problema u organizacijama. Rezultati istraživanja donose korisne informacije za razvoj znanosti o sigurnosti i struke te pružaju mogućnosti za daljnje istraživanje.
The principal goal of the research was to determine the meaning and substantive emphasis that the appearance of the COVID-19 had in the field of safety science in the chronological period from 2020 to 2022. Using the Prisma method, we analyzed 3,992 articles published in the journals Safety Science, Accident Analysis & Prevention, Journal of Safety Research, Safety, and Health at Work, International Journal of Injury Control and Safety Promotion, Safety and Work, and Safety. We found that this topic did not attract much attention because it was covered by a little more than 1% of authors from 26 countries of the world. In most cases, the topic of the disease COVID-19 was analyzed in accordance with the aspects of psychosocial stressors of the work environment (8 studies), organizational measures to prevent infection (4 studies), personal protective equipment (4 studies), and other factors, such as complexity, systematic approach, and risk analysis (3 theoretical articles). None of the authors in the "evidence-based" safety profession has so far recognized any of the possible dangerous situations that could arise from key indicators such as the frequency and severity of injuries and health issues in organizations. The results of the research provide convenient information for the development of safety science and the profession and moreover provide opportunities for further research.
U radu se daje pregled literature koja prikazuje rezultate istraživanja o utjecaju digitalnih igara na učenje i inteligencije učenika. Istraživanje je obuhvatilo 5740 znanstvenih radova iz 11 ...elektroničkih repozitorija, a koji su pružili raznolike dokaze o višedimenzionalnom utjecaju digitalnih igara na učenike. Kategorizacijom i primjenom višestrukih kvalitativnih kriterija pronađeno je 36 odgovarajućih radova koji su sadržavali empirijske dokaze. U radovima su analizirani raznovrsni indikatori i referentne točke, uzimajući u obzir metodološka ograničenja. Rezultati potvrđuju kompleksne veze između digitalnih igara i stilova učenja, kao i višestrukih inteligencija, na temelju kojih se stvaraju preporuke i pitanja za buduća istraživanja.
Odgoj i obrazovanje za poduzetništvo koncept je i odgojno-obrazovni model kojemu je cilj razvijanje poduzetničke kompetencije učenika sa svim njezinim sastavnicama te razvoj poduzetnosti kao odlike ...osobnosti koja omogućuje učinkovito osobno i profesionalno funkcioniranje u cjeloživotnoj perspektivi. Kao takav, privlači pažnju kreatora obrazovnih politika, praktičara, nastavnika i drugih sudionika obrazovnog procesa te istraživača čiji rad pridonosi načinima razumijevanja ovog pitanja. Implementacija poduzetništva kao temeljne kompetencije u obrazovnim sustavima ima višestruka značenja i implikacije na trenutačno shvaćanje ovog koncepta te na buduće pravce njegova
razvoja i konceptualizacije. S obzirom na provedbu ovog obrazovnog koncepta, uvjetovanu brojnim čimbenicima poput novijih trendova u obrazovnim politikama, različite prakse kurikulskog planiranja i
programiranja te provedbe kurikula, obraćanja različitim sudionicima obrazovanja i sl., pretpostavljamo da se jednako relevantan izvor informacija može identificirati poduzetničkim obrazovanjem kao
istraživačka preokupacija u konceptualnim i empirijskim znanstvenim radovima. Načini i prakse kojima se znanstveni alati i postupci pokušavaju baviti ovom problematikom, a sadržani u znanstvenoistraživačkim radovima, nude vrijedan izvor metodoloških spoznaja i znanstvenih spoznaja na temelju kojih možemo donositi zaključke o konceptualizaciji, stanju i praksi implementacije, kao i načinima razumijevanja i metodološkog oblikovanja ovoga koncepta.
Mass customization (MC) is gaining steadyattention in both industry and academia. Recently,MC implementation guidelines (MC-IGs) have been identified as an emerging sub-stream of MC research. A ...review of thissub-stream has beenpublishedin the current year,with a practitioner-oriented view. The present paper complementsthat review by focusing on the researchers’ need to improve the way MC-IGs are developed and communicated. By providing data generated from asystematic literature review on MC-IGs,the present paper informs researchers abouthow much and in which way certain aspectsof MC-IGs havebeen considered in the available guidelines. Through a systematic and detailed description of the published MC-IGs, the present article supports researchers to clearly communicatethesimilarities and differences intheir proposed advancements on MC-IGs. Finally, by reflecting on the very nature of the output of MC-IG research,this article suggests open and wide adoption ofthe design science research strategy to develop and test MC-IGs.
Kako bismo utvrdili značajke učinkovitog stručnog usavršavanja učitelja prirodoslovne grupe predmeta, na temelju sustavnog pregleda literature izabrali smo i proveli analizu devet učinkovitih ...eksperimentalnih i kvazi eksperimentalnih istraživanja. Utvrdili smo kako bi stručno usavršavanje bilo dobro započeti inicijalnim radionicama koje je potrebno nastaviti kroz susrete zajednica učenja za vrijeme ostvarivanja promjena. Uz to je važno osigurati potporu i vođenje učitelja te nastavne materijale za učitelje i učenike. Stručno usavršavanje može biti učinkovito samo ako doprinese boljim učeničkim rezultatima, a to je moguće postići promjenama u nastavi koja bi trebala polaziti od jasno postavljenih ciljeva u skladu s kojima učitelji pripremaju nastavne aktivnosti koje učenike potiču na istraživanje, rješavanje životnih problema, aktivno i suradničko učenje te znanstveno i metakognitivno mišljenje.
In order to affirm the characteristics of efficient professional training of teachers in the natural sciences, on the basis of a systematic overview of the literature, we chose and implemented an analysis of nine efficient experimental and quasi-experimental research designs. We affirmed that professional training should begin with initial workshops, which should continue through meetings of learning cummunities during these changes. Additionally, it is important to ensure support and guidance for teachers, as well as teaching materials for teachers and students. Professional training can be considered efficient only if it contributes to improved academic performance; this can be attained through changes in teaching, which should be founded on clearly established goals in accordance with which teachers may prepare teaching activities that inspire students to research, solve everyday problems, take part in active and cooperative learning, and think scientifically and metacognitively.
Systemic scleroderma (SSc) is a multisystem disease with microvascular abnormalities, autoimmune disorders, excessive collagen production and deposition, and fibrosis of the skin and internal organs. ...According to the simplest, though incomplete classification, there are two forms of SSc: diffuse and limited (formerly acrosclerosis). CREST syndrome is a subtype of limited SSc, characterized by: calcinosis, Raynaud’s phenomenon, esophageal dysfunction, sclerodactyly, and telangiectasia. We present a patient with all the features of the CREST syndrome, which appeared at the age of 43 and lasted for 23 years. The patient presented with a gradual development of symptoms during the first ten years, from Raynaud’s phenomenon, skin sclerosis, calcinosis, telangiectasia, and esophageal dysmotility. The diagnosis was based on clinical findings and relevant diagnostic procedures. The article presents a literature review on the epidemiology, etiology, pathophysiology, clinical manifestations, various attempts at classification, diagnostic criteria, and therapeutic modalities.
When classifying systemic scleroderma into two main types — diffuse and limited, with CREST syndrome as a variant of the latter, it should be pointed out that both types represent clinical forms of systemic sclerosis, share similar visceral involvement, laboratory abnormalities and course which is variable, as was the case in our patient.
The aim of our systematic review was to analyse the published literature on the psychosocial dimension of care in family medicine and its relationship with quality of care. We wanted to find out ...whether there is any evidence on the psychosocial approach in (family) medicine. The recommended bio-psycho-social approach, besides the biomedical model of illness, takes into account several co-influencing psychological, sociological and existential factors. An online search of nine different databases used Boolean operators and the following selection criteria: the paper contained information on the holistic approach, quality indicators, family medicine, patient-centred care and/or the bio-psycho-social model of treatment. We retrieved 743 papers, of which 36 fulfilled our inclusion criteria. Including the psychosocial dimension in patient management has been found to be useful in the prevention and treatment of physical and psychiatric illness, resulting in improved social functioning and patient satisfaction, reduced health care disparities, and reduced annual medical care charges. The themes of patient-centred, behavioural or psychosocial medicine were quite well presented in several papers. We could not find any conclusive evidence of the impact of a holistic biopsycho-social-approach. Weak and variable definitions of psychosocial dimensions, a low number of welldesigned intervention studies, and low numbers of included patients limited our conclusions.
