Turystyka jest jedną z kluczowych gałęzi gospodarki światowej, jednocześnie turyści stają się coraz częściej obiektem ataków terrorystycznych oraz innych, niebezpiecznych zdarzeń. Zdarzenia te mają ...miejsce zarówno w miejscu pobytu turystów, jak i w środkach transportu. Artykuł podejmuje próbę identyfikacji kluczowych zjawisk w sferze gospodarki i zachowań konsumenckich, będących wynikiem zaburzenia bezpieczeństwa w transporcie turystycznym. Rozważania oparte są na analizie literatury tematu oraz na analizie dwóch przypadków – zamachów terrorystycznych skierowanych w transport turystyczny, których dotyczą przywołane dane statystyczne, raporty i artykuły internetowe. W oparciu o zebrane informacje, zostają wskazane zaobserwowane skutki tych zdarzeń oraz działania podejmowane w celu zminimalizowania ich negatywnych efektów, jak również reakcje turystów. Przeprowadzona analiza wskazuje, że kluczowym działaniem podejmowanym przez rządy państw dotkniętych atakami terrorystycznymi oraz przez kraje pochodzenia turystów, jest przywrócenie bezpieczeństwa (w tym również komunikowanie tego faktu szerokiej publiczności), a także wspieranie lokalnej gospodarki turystycznej poprzez różne inicjatywy. Wśród turystów wskazać można na różnorodne zachowania, w tym na brak poczucia zagrożenia.
Rewitalizacja w swoim podstawowym znaczeniu jest procesem, który ma na celu ożywienie obszarów zdegradowanych (materialnie i społecznie). Problem degradacji przestrzeni nie ominął terenów ...komunikacyjnych, w tym tych otaczających dworce kolejowe w Polsce. W ostatnich latach wiele obiektów kolejowych wraz z kwartałami je otaczającymi zostało poddanych procesowi rewitalizacji, w celu przywrócenia ich do użytkowania oraz nadania im nowego programu funkcjonalnego. Podstawowym problemem badawczym jest pytanie: jakie podmioty lokowane są w zespole dworca kolejowego i jego bezpośrednim sąsiedztwie w wyniku procesu rewitalizacji? Prezentowane w opracowaniu badanie objęło 5 dworców kolejowych wraz z terenami sąsiednimi, zlokalizowanych w dużych polskich miastach, zrewitalizowanych po 2010 roku. Każdy z obiektów jest innej wielkości i znajduje się w innym mieście. Wyniki badań zaprezentowano w postaci rycin i typogramów struktury programu usługowego nowego użytkowania zrewitalizowanych obiektów. W konkluzji zidentyfikowano cechy tego zróżnicowania oraz wyjaśniono jego uwarunkowania.
Cel artykułu ma charakter metodyczny i jest nim zaproponowanie metodyki integracji pojęć związanych z dostępnością w transporcie osób w ramach jednego spójnego systemu powiązań w postaci modelu ...uwarunkowań dostępności. Autorski model nazwany modelem skrzynki lęgowej (NeST box) rozróżnia uwarunkowania sieciowe, przestrzenne, związane z podróżą oraz podróżnym. Każde z uwarunkowań ma swoje odniesienie w metodach badania dostępności, komponentach, atrybutach i wymiarach dostępności. Planuje się rozwinięcie modelu w kierunku stworzenia odrębnych „skrzynek” uwarunkowań, tj. submodeli dla każdej z sześciu głównych motywacji podróży: dla dojazdów do pracy, dojazdów do szkoły, wyjazdów na zakupy, podróży służbowych, odwiedzin znajomych i krewnych oraz podróży turystycznych. W artykule wskazano, że potrzebne są również dalsze badania nad mało rozpoznanymi w polskiej literaturze przedmiotu metodami badań dostępności mającymi podłoże behawioralne, a także stworzenie na bazie submodeli motywacyjnych modelu NeST box tzw. modelu dostępności życiowej, dzięki któremu każdy indywidualnie mógłby obliczać swoją dostępność życiową m.in. na bazie informacji o udziale motywacji w realizowanej pracy przewozowej w poszczególnych latach życia.
Social vulnerability and resilience as cultural components of society are already established terms in international and national literature in researching the reaction of individuals and communities ...to natural hazards. The need to define these components is in the process of scientificdebate, and there is already a paradigmatic framework in the field of disasterresearch. The sociological complexity of the human relations with the naturalhazards phenomena, give rise to new approaches and definitions of the process; there is still the retention in the outline of some dimensions of the social relations towards the disasters suitable for measuring, scaling or observing and defining some laws or patterns, before, during or after the consumption of the impact phenomena in the anthroposphere. The instrumentalization from a cultural point of view of a scientific research with the help of these concepts, was achieved through the historical and current study of the reaction of the communities in the localities located on the Fișag stream in Ciuc Depression.
Globally, 2020 ended the warmest decade since the beginning of the measurements (WMO), and the warmest year was 2016, marked by a strong and intense El Ñino. In Oltenia the warmest year was 2019 with ...the average for the whole region of 12.4°C and the deviation from normal of 2.5°C, followed by 2020 with the general average of 12.2°C and the deviation from normal of 2.3°C. After the 2019- 2020 warm winter, which was the second Mediterranean winter in southern Romania, followed the normal thermal spring in which climatic anomalies were frequent. The summer of 2020 was warm and marked by great climate variability, given by the presence of a weak La Ñina climate process. Since June, the average temperature is normal and unstable, the climatic alternations and the progressive increase of the air temperature, determined that in August the weather will be the warmest during the summer and an intense heat wave occurred at the end of the month with the peak on 1.IX.2020.The paper analyses special climate variability in the summer of 2020, which is the continuation of an extensive series of works on climate variability and climate change in southwestern Romania (I. Marinică 2006, I. Marinică, Andreea Floriana, 2016, 2020). The paper is useful to all those interested in climate variability and climate change in this part of Romania.

Weavings are cultural heritage values that strongly reflect the lifestyles, socioeconomic structures, patterns of behaviour and local identities of societies. The spatial distribution and the spatial ...variety of this cultural product vary greatly from region to regional the standpoint of historical structure, environment, culture and distribution relations. In the article, the emergence and development of the weaving culture in the Vezirköprü region in terms of cultural geography is discussed. The aim of this study is to contribute to the preservation of this cultural heritage by establishing the historical structure of the weaving cultures in the region, revealing the characteristics of the weaving culture and creating a weaving inventory belonging to the region. It is also aimed to describe the spatial distribution and spatial diversity of the weaving culture in the region by introducing the geographical environmental components which are effective in the formation and embodiment of the weaving cultures in the region. In this research which focuses on revealing the potential and characteristics of weaving culture of Vezirköprü region and helping to attract attention to the region, the results of literature review, source interviews, field reviews and observation are used. Weaving in Vezirköprü is a cultural heritage that preserves its existence for hundreds of years since Iron Age. The raw materials used in the woven products in the region, the size, shape and patterns of the woven products are different from each other. Weaving culture in the region divided into three groups: (a) Susuz Bezi weaving, (b) Soruh Valley rug, saddlebag, sock and beaded crown weaving and, (c) Özyörük Village nomad weaving, rubbing rugs and sack weaving. The difference is due to the fact that the weaving cultures on the site are dated to the Iron Age, region is hosted by different cultures (Hittite, Phrygian, Roman, Byzantine, Turkish) throughout history and the geographical environment components.
The use of the lands from Sălătrucel Commune located in the Jiblea – Berslăvești Depression, at the contact between the Southern Carpathians – Cozia Massif and the Vâlcea Subcarpathians, bears the ...characteristics of the physical-geographical particularities, especially those of the relief configuration with the specific lithological structure. The Jiblea – Berislăvești Depression was a favourable geographical area for early settlement, which also attracted important changes in the natural landscape reflected in the current structure of land use
