The deportation, carried out in 1944 by order of Stalin, was an unprecedented in its cruelty and cynicism act of total eviction of undesirable peoples from their places of historical residence to ...Kazakhstan and Central Asia. The author of this article has been dealing with this problem for many years, trying to find at least some justification for such a monstrous crime. The peoples who enthusiastically embraced the October Revolution, who fought with Denikin’s army for Soviet power with weapons in their hands, were clearly accused of complicity with fascism. In the same article, we are talking about the restoration of the violated honor and dignity of the deported peoples. The proposed article is dedicated to the rehabilitation of the deported peoples, which began after Stalin’s death and ended after the collapse of the USSR. As you know, after the victory of the party grouping led by NS Khrushchev, the process of gradual easing of the regime of stay in exile for the deported peoples began in the country. From March 1953 to February 1956 a number of legislative acts of the State were adopted. An important event on the way to the rehabilitation of Chechens is the Twentieth Congress of the CPSU, whose historical decisions opened the way to the restoration of the statehood of the repressed peoples.

Introduction/Purpose:
The purpose of this Study is to evaluate the results of knotless double-row sutures for Achilles insercional tendinopathy reattachment and compare two types ...of post-operative rehabilitation protocols.
Methods:
This is a retrospective comparative study of collected data from patients who were treated in two different hospital by two different surgeons. Sixty-three (63) patients (66 feet) were included and separated in two different groups. All of them were submitted to the same technique for knotless double-row suture for Achilles insercional tendinopathy reattachment. Group 1 was treated with a functional rehabilitation at the end of a 4 weeks NWB period and group 2 with early and aggressive functional post- operative management.
Results:
We found that both types of post-operative regimen generate significant improvement in pain and functional scores. Regarding pain, both rehabilitation protocols generated similar results, with no statistically significant differences. However, the FAAM-AVD score, on average, of patients in Group 1 was slightly higher than that of patients in the Group 2. This means that more than 50% of patients in the group 1 had a higher FAAM-AVD than all patients in the group 2. Regarding the comparison of the postoperative rehabilitation of the groups, a more accentuated improvement was observed in the group where functional rehabilitation was postponed to the 5th post-operative week, and the patients having remained immobilized for 4 (four) weeks in a NWB suropodalic orthosis on the operated limb.
Conclusion:
The double-row suture system for Achilles' reattachment is an excellent option for the surgical treatment of insertional Achilles' tendinopathy. The functional outcome of patients who were submitted to a 4-week delayed functional rehabilitation program is slightly better than those submitted to an early and aggressive functional rehabilitation program.

The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic and the response to the pandemic are combining to produce a tidal wave of need for rehabilitation. Rehabilitation will be needed for survivors of ...COVID-19, many of whom are older, with underlying health problems. In addition, rehabilitation will be needed for those who have become deconditioned as a result of movement restrictions, social isolation, and inability to access healthcare for pre-existing or new non-COVID-19 illnesses. Delivering rehabilitation in the same way as before the pandemic will not be practical, nor will this approach meet the likely scale of need for rehabilitation. This commentary reviews the likely rehabilitation needs of older people both with and without COVID-19 and discusses how strategies to deliver effective rehabilitation at scale can be designed and implemented in a world living with COVID-19.
