Introduction: growing up of a child is a process of constantly changing the structure of his subjective and objective characteristics, including the formation in ontogenesis of the image of ...adulthood, its development and implementation, as well as the reflection of the development of adulthood by children in the psychological and pedagogical space by participants of the educational process (parents, educators). In the framework of one of the particular hypotheses, we define the psychological and pedagogical space for the development of a rural schoolchild by the dynamics of maturation of the components of self-awareness: self-understanding, self-actualization and selfattitude. The data of an empirical study of the dynamic aspects of the maturing of schoolchildren in the space of the village, who are going through the inter-age transition, are presented. The goal is determined by the need to study the specific characteristics of growing up of rural adolescents living in the Velizhsky and Smolensk districts of the Smolensk region, who are studying in rural schools for a total of 120 people, 68 of which are boys and 52 are girls. Materials and methods: to study the structural and content characteristics of the dynamics of growing up, determined by the development of the components of self-awareness: selfunderstanding, self-actualization and self-relation, we used the following psychological tools: 1) the method of assessing the level of self-actualization of the person (SAMOAL) Kalina (1987); 2) the method of the study of self-attitude (IIA) Pantileev and V.V. Stolin (1989); 3) the method of free self-description of M. Kuhn and T. McPartland (1992). Results: the results of the study showed that adolescents in the studied sample are characterized by high self-understanding scales (χ = 7.82), which is evidence that adolescents are sensitive, sensitive to their own needs and desires, are free from psychological defenses that separate their personality from its own essence, and also not inclined to the substitution of their own tastes and evaluations by external social standards adopted in society. The data of the correlation analysis in the studied sample of adolescents self-understanding positively correlates with p <0.01 with autonomy (r = 0.47), spontaneity (r = 0.31), autosympathy (r = 0.49) and contact (r = 0, 18). High values were determined on the scales of reflected self-relation (χ = 6.05), self-value (χ = 6.89) and selfattachment (χ = 5.92). These data reflect adolescents’ perceptions that their personality, character, and activities are capable of giving others respect, sympathy, approval, and understanding; and also point to some rigidity of their «self-concept», conservative self-sufficiency, denial of the possibility and desirability of developing their self hood against the background of the characteristics of growing up. Discussion and conclusions: the content of adolescents’ self-understanding presents the realities and aspects of their own inner life that are relevant for the development of their personality. High school students seek to understand not only their personal qualities and character traits, interests and abilities, attitudes towards themselves and with other people, but also their feelings and motives, values and beliefs, life plans and goals. The process of growing up of adolescents involves the development of the main components of their self-awareness, and in this process adults can be of great help to the teenager. The data obtained are taken into account in the psychological and pedagogical support of adolescents in the socio-cultural space of the village; a program of socio-psychological training sessions has been developed, aimed at developing their self-understanding, self-actualization and self-relationship, which will ensure the development of their adult self-consciousness. There is a tendency to further research on the influence of sociocultural factors on the implementation of a particular strategy of growing up and the attitude of growing children to it at a distance of adolescence.
The study contributes on music in pilgrimage Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Hrabyně turn of the 18th and 19th century. The paper focuses on sheet of music inventories and church ...musical instruments (1804, 1819 and 1832). It reflects the purpose of genesis the inventories and included information about music in church, too. Important part identifies composers from inventory in 1819. We concentrate on church's organ and their repair, too. The work contains information about school in Hrabyně and teachers, who were teaching there and composing for the church. Nevertheless, Hrabyně's inventories are compared with other locations in Silesia and Moravia and the study also marginally handles conditions of performing practice of figural music in village, which are illustrated on schoolmaster Schenk's memories.
ABSTRACT
During the past few years, the Dutch education system has been confronted with a sharp decline in the number of pupils. Especially in rural villages, inhabitants fear for the closure of ...their local primary school, which is perceived as a very negative development for local village life. This paper shows that the relatively sharp decline of the number of pupils in the next decade can be explained by a wavelike pattern in the past and projected number of pupils, resulting from the baby bust of the 1960s and 1970s. The relative decrease in pupils will almost be as strong in future depopulating (Anticipeer) regions as in present day declining (Topkrimp) regions. However, municipalities in the Topkrimp regions have many smaller primary schools which implies that they will have to deal with school mergers and closures in the near future. The paper concludes that long term effects of school closures on local society are not as devastating as often perceived.
The aim of this study is to determine the opinions of a multigrade class teacher on the nature of social studies lesson, the structure of the social studies curriculum, and the teaching process of ...social studies lesson. The study was structured in line with a holistic single case design which is contained in the tradition of qualitative research. The teacher participating in the study is 29 years old and has been serving as a teacher for 7 years. The data collection tools used in the study were semi-structured interview form and observation form. In the process of designing the data collection tools, the literature was reviewed and the expert opinions were taken into account. The expert opinion was also considered with regards to the validity and reliability of the questions included in the interview form and the questions on which the experts had a mutual consensus were determined and included in the list of questions. The content analysis was used in the analysis of the findings obtained from the study and the themes were determined after the records of the interviews had been deciphered. Three themes, which are the nature of the social studies, opinions on the social studies curriculum, and opinions on how to put into practice the social studies curriculum more efficiently in village schools, were determined within the scope of the study. The themes determined in this regard were analyzed within the context of the problematic of the study. Based on the findings obtained from the study, the opinions of the multigrade class teacher on the nature of social studies were found to be consistent, social studies were found to be an essential discipline to achieve citizenship skills, and the opinions of the teacher on putting into practice the social studies curriculum were found to be positive. The suggestions provided by the study within the context of the challenges encountered in the process of teaching social studies in village schools include the following: a separate curriculum should be designed for village schools, teacher's guidebooks should be adapted to the village conditions, and particularly, the information technology applications should be developed in terms of quality.

Although China's power grid construction is at the forefront of the world, due to the high degree of village dispersion and rugged terrain, some mountainous regions in southwestern China have not so ...far been connected to the state grid. A group of students in Tsinghua University founded a charitable project called 'Dream Grid' in 2014, aiming at building power systems that meet basic electricity demand of schools in remote areas. The project has been running for 4 years so far, attracting more than 80 students to participate in. More than 150,000 dollars has been raised by sponsorships and crowdfunding to support the construction of 60kW photovoltaic micro grids in 5 different areas. This paper takes one of these projects in Zamthang, Sichuan Province, China, as an example, and explores the design process of a hybrid solar-hydro microgrid for a rural primary school isolated from the national grid. Zongke Village Primary School, the electricity of which is usually supplied by small-capacity hydropower, is one of the largest village school in Zamthang County and has more than 100 students. However, the small capacity and lack of stability of hydropower makes it difficult to solve the electricity supply problem there. The power system design hopes to meet the basic daily teaching loads mainly with a solar system and the lighting demands at night by introducing a battery storage system. The original hydropower and one additional gasoline generator are considered as backup power when PV output is low and energy storage system cannot cover all loads. The size of solar panel and battery storage system is based on the load and insolation analysis. The power system operation is controlled by an energy storage bidirectional converter, which could dynamically adjust the energy distribution based on solar outputs and load power. The design plan which is composed of 10.5kW solar panels, 39kWh battery bank, 5kW gasoline generator and 20kW converter, is actually applied to the project in Zongke, and the entire system has been running for 12 months and produced more than 13MWh electricity so far. Economic analysis is also carried out in this paper, which shows that PV panels, batteries and converter makes up the most of total costs, and the system would yield a cost of 0.296/kWh over the 10-year lifespan. In addition, by providing electricity for the lighting of neighboring households at night and charging an appropriate fee, the cost of power generation at the school can be further reduced by approximately 0.042/kWh.

Provider: - Institution: - Data provided by Europeana Collections- Undated. Image shows the stone built village school in Breary Lane. It was built in 1873 at the instigation of the Lady of the ...Manor, Miss Dawson. The schoolmaster Mr. Wood, along with his wife, received a salary of ?130 per annum and books and slates were purchased at a cost of ?11 16s 2d (?11 81p). There were between 60 and 70 pupils, both boys and girls, attending the school from a population of 389 in the village. The village school was undenominational and was not to be used as a Sunday School or for religious meetings. There was a focus on Adult Education and classes were held there for this purpose in the evenings. The West Riding County Council took over the building in 1921 and the school was converted to a youth club at a cost of ?8,000. In 1961 the school moved to new premises in Tredgold Crescent. In 1992 Leeds City Council released the former school for development and it has since been converted to apartments, while retaining the original character of the nineteenth century building.- All metadata published by Europeana are available free of restriction under the Creative Commons CC0 1.0 Universal Public Domain Dedication.
