Abstract The rapid development of night tourism economy has made people's demand for night scene lighting in architectural blocks increasing, and the night scene lighting situation of urban ...architectural blocks has gradually received people's attention and attention. Achieving good night lighting visual effects of building blocks can not only meet the needs of residents for entertainment and consumption at night, but also beautify the image of blocks and promote the economic development of building blocks. However, due to the unreasonable planning and management of the night scene lighting design of architectural blocks in some areas, improper application of night scene lighting, and overly commercial night scene lighting effects, it affects people's normal night activity needs and has a negative impact on the long‐term block economy of the region. Faced with this situation, the night lighting of architectural blocks and its problems is studied and photos are identified with high lighting visual effect evaluation using multi‐target identification and data processing to construct a night lighting visual evaluation system for architectural blocks, and also an experimental study of the visual evaluation system is conducted. The results show that the overall visual suitability evaluation support rate of the respondents for the night scene lighting of architectural blocks is 95.64%, and the visual evaluation system proposed in this paper is reasonable and effective, which is conducive to promoting the improvement of the visual effect of night scene lighting in architectural blocks.

This paper studied the night scene lighting of building blocks and the existing problems, constructed a visual evaluation system for night scene lighting in building blocks, and optimised the visual evaluation indicators of night scene lighting by using multi‐object recognition and data processing.
Metaheuristic algorithms are particularly useful for maximum power point tracking (MPPT) applications, because they can adapt to changes in operating conditions and effectively handle partial shading ...conditions. However, metaheuristic algorithms also have some limitations that need to be addressed to make them suitable for MPPT applications. The problems associated with metaheuristic algorithm-based MPPT applications include being trapped in local optima, slow convergence speed, shading condition variability, computational complexity and robustness. These problems lead to reduced efficiency in MPPT applications. In the literature, the solution of the aforementioned problems is partially addressed and some of them are solved via an additional irradiation sensor. The motivation of this study is to develop a control algorithm that covers all problems that have been partially solved in the literature and includes an original re-initialization modeling method in accordance with visual programing concept, without using any additional radiation sensor. The proposed control algorithm has the flexibility to be easily adapted to other metaheuristic algorithms and does not require any radiation sensors. The re-initialization model created via Matlab/Simulink and "Embedded Coder Support Package for TI C2000 Processors" allows easy tracking of the global maximum power point (GMPP) by detecting variable radiation conditions. The proposed model was implemented on the Cuckoo Search Algorithm (CSA) and verified through experimental studies carried out with a TI-TMS320f28069 microcontroller and PV emulator. The experimental results confirm that issue 1 is solved with 100%, issue 2 is solved with 99.5%, issue 3 is solved with 99.84%, and issue 4 is solved with 100% MPPT efficiency.
In this work, I discuss the use of Pure Data as the main tool for the development of paradigmatic changes in Peruvian musical education, through the implementation of the Laboratorio de Música ...Electroacústica y Arte Sonoro of the Universidad Nacional de Música in Lima - Perú. This analysis is made taking under consideration the particularities present in the development of the study of technology-based music in the country and the historical shortcoming that have marked that development. This work complements my previous research regarding the relevance of specific social narratives present through the history of the nation in regards to technology and musical innovation. In that sense, it presents a historical that seeks to revert the course of a musical learning history that excludes technology based musical practices associated with Pure Data, from becoming part of the official processes for musical creation in the country.
Microcontrollers are widely used in many areas of embedded systems, from robotics control systems to smart homes. The number of different hardware platforms is increasing with a spread of embedded ...systems. More and more users are involved in a software development, including not qualified programmers. The application of a domain- specific development technology provides the possibility to program microcontrollers in terms that are familiar to a user but not to a microcontroller. The visual representation of programs ensures the clarity of the processing workflow. A portability to different hardware platforms allows using the microcontrollers with different processors from different manufacturers and an easy switching to the new versions of microcontrollers. In this paper we present initial steps of working with VIPE toolset for support microcontrollers programming for embedded systems.
STEAM-blended programming education is considered to be particularly effective for training computational thinking. In this paper, we aim to develop a web-based learning environment for STEAM-blended ...programming education. The proposed system can provide the learning materials of JavaScript that can easily carry out STEAM education at educational institutions. To effectively realize STEAM-blended programming education, visual programming is useful. Therefore, first, we will examine the learning effectiveness of visual programming. Next, we will develop a web-based programming learning support system based on "Mathematics" learning with JavaScript. After the above, the concept of STEAM-blended learning material using LEGO Mindstorms EV3 is shown.
This article provides an example of adopting Node-Red in software for programming robotic systems through flow-based visual programming. Node-Red can work directly with Epson's SCARA and 6-axis robot ...controllers and other robotic systems. This case analyzes the ability of Robot Operation System (ROS) tools to work together for good visualization. The article provides an example of how visual programming can be successfully used in the development of control software for robotic systems.
As a fundamental and introductory course in undergraduate education, Computer Basis aims to cultivate the scientific computational thinking mode and the ability of solving problem for students who ...are not the computer majors. In this study, a new pedagogical method named PBL-VP combining the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) and the visual programming Blockly was applied to Computer Basis. This paper described a classical example about problem solving to explain the teaching process of the PBL-VP in detail. The process of problem solving was divided into several operable steps to gradually guide students to analyze problems, provide solutions and establish scientific logic thinking. Blockly was introduced to obscure the grammar of programming language and implement the algorithm visually. Finally, we evaluated the effectiveness of the PBL-VP teaching method on student learning by a contrast test. The empirical results proved that students in the class with PBL-VP earned higher final grades and the teaching method we proposed played a positive role in computer general education.
In this paper, we describe a graphical editor GRED as a part of the integrated programing environment GRADE that is intended to support designing, debugging and performance tuning of message-passing ...programs running on a heterogeneous network of computers. The GRED editor hides the cumbersome details of the underlying low-level message-passing system (which can be either PVM or MPI) by providing visual abstractions but allows the programer to define local computations of the individual processes in C (or in Fortran in the future) independently from the visually supported process management and inter-process communication activities.
Visual representation of the critical (i.e. message-passing related) parts of the code can help the user in grasping the complex structure and run-time behavior of the whole parallel application, even if he or she is not an expert in the field of concurrent programing.
In recent years, in Japan, programming education during compulsory education has been promoted. However, it is difficult to say that the educational environment, such as teachers and development ...environment is in place because programming skills are required a certain amount of expertise unlike general education information. In addition, since the minimum of technical knowledge is assumed, there is a problem that students can't caught up with a basic understanding of programming. In this study, we proposed and implement a programming education system that tackle with ease even in elementary and junior high school students and facilitates a basic understanding of programming.
