  • Stress-strain analysis of "HS Kozjak" tunnel due to movements in tectonic fault [Elektronski vir]

    The paper considers the problem of tunnel deformations and stresses due to movements in tectonic faults. To find the stress-strain response, a mathematical model was made in the form of differential ... equations. Introducing the assumed shape of the deflection line that is in accordance with the resistance line of the rock in tectonic fault, we obtain the simple solution in a closed form. The solutions are deflection, slope, bending moment, shear force and resistance intensity. They are functions of movement in tectonic fault, width of tectonic fault and compact rock, and stiffnes of tectonic fault and compact rock.
