  • Izrada nove tehničke regulative - standarda za gradnju nadzemnih vodova u Sloveniji = Preparing of the new technical regulations - standards for the construction of overhead electrical lines in Slovenia
    Jakl, Franc ; Zadnik, Branko
During the approach of Slovenia to the accession to the EU on May 1 2004 the activities in the field of preparation of new Slovenian Standards for the construction of electrical overhead lines were ... primarily directed to the harmonization of such regulations in accordance with the European regulations. These new regulations had to replace the corresponding regulations from the times of former Yugoslavia, adopted in 1988. In the spirit of the Law on Standardization in the Republic of Slovenia, in 2002 the European standards EN 50341-1:2001, EN 50341-2:2001 and EN 50341- 3:2001 on the construction of overhead electric power lines for voltages above AC 45 kV were first adopted as Slovenan standards by the method of proclamation without translation. This was followed by the translation of the Parts 1 and 2 into the Slovenian language, whilst the Part 3 was completed by the end of 2004, taking into account the Slovenian national normative aspects. Additionally, the standard EN 50423-1, January 2005: Overhead electrical lines exceeding AC 1 kV up to and including AC 45 kV was translated and the draft of SIST EN 50423-3: Overhead electrical lines exceeding AC 1 kV up to and including AC 45 kV, Part 3: National Normative Aspects has been prepared (based on SIST EN 50423-1:2005). The paper is giving an abstract of the standard, describing the field of application, electrical requirements and the basis and the general principles for the structural design of overhead lines with the Slovenian national normative aspects, particularly for additional loads which arise from wind and ice.
