    Advertising became an indispensable component of modern information society, which provides company sales, fund sources for the media as well as quality choice among different products and services ... for the consumers. The advertisers have a lot of possibilities, tools, techniques, and methods at hand; with them they try to attract attention of potential consumers. They often advertise with the new, legally and ethically not permissible methods of advertising, due to rising competition on the market. The purpose of these methods is to attract the attention and increase the sale; one of them is covert advertising, which is the topic of our article. We are defining, analyzing, and researching it with the analysis and interacting comparison among the three of the most important Slovenian daily newspapers: Delo, Večer, and Dnevnik.
