    An early forecast of the annual harvest of apples and pears is essential for the organization of harvesting, crop storage, collection and pricing. The accuracy of forecasts depends on the method used ... and the number of acquired data samples in field work. A project assignment has been pursued to predict the crops by an automated system for simple and fast data acquisition in site.The system consists of an application on a personal computer (PC) for theuser to create a daily journey through the plantations and export the data to a navigation device. The second part of the system is a mobile application with GPS receiver. The user uses the application to capture various data, suchas positions and images when inspecting the plantations and stores them into a database. Processing of all collected data runs on a PC. This requires a synchronization of all new, changed or updated data stored in the mobile device database with the database on the PC.
