    With implementation of new training system of executive rail workers, which contains better and full control on different tasks of executive rail workers in technological work processes, it is ... possible to reach some higher level of traffic safety and better arrangement of transportation by the rail. With such system many other positive effects (for example economical, social, psychological and other) could be reached. Based on mentioned premises optimisation of total work of an executive rail workers is possible. Suggested optimisation based on the weakest part of the chain which have the greatest impact to traffic safety - a human. Analysing some humans problems and to find out some measures for better human reliability in the frame of traffic safety is the main aim of optimisation. Executive rail workers reliability depends on higher level and better organisation of professional training, on better readiness by mastering of professional knowledge which is needed by everyday work on working places, and on the rising of individual responsibility of executive rail workers. The new model of training of executive rail workers shows some important interconnection between training and control. Some results of detail model definitions show that a global approach is possible. Such global approach has some impacts which could be represented in better international cooperation between national rail managers and operators (EU, non EU states) also. Such cooperation where experiences on the one task in one state could be shared in global region could have important impact to rail traffic safety as general. On the paper some theoretic and practical experiences based on scientific research work on the problematic of training and to control of executive rail workers in Republic of Slovenia will be presented. Special emphasis will be done on some applications to meet conditions of interoperatibility of EU transportation system.
