    In this paper the influence of mixtures of knitwear and a degree of coverage of skin with clothing on thermophysiological comfort clothing for athletes was investigated. To create a model of nine ... women jumpsuit for athletes, three knitwear different raw composition (100% PES, 70% PES/30% cotton and 30% PES/70% cotton) were used. To define the heat and sorption properties of the knitwear, the coefficient of thermal conductivity, water vapor permeability, air permeability and water holding capacity were tested. Thermophysiological comfort of the overalls for athletes was tested by running on a treadmill at the speed of 7 km / h for 30 minutes, where the amount of the sweat excreted, as a physiological parameter for the person, and the amount of the sweat absorbed by clothing, as a parameter for the sorption properties of the knitwear, were measured. By the examinations done by wearing the clothing it was found that there was a correlation between subjective assessments of thermal comfort (the level of the moisture of the skin), the raw material composition of the knitwear (the quantity of the absorbed sweat in clothes) and the degree of coverage of skin with the clothing.
