    Vičič Krabonja, Maja, zgodovina ...
t The European Union's goals to improve the digital competencies of the whole population are centered on the DigComp2.2, or Digital Competence Framework for Citizens, which offers guidelines in this ... field. Analyzing the degree of proficiency attained by educators inside educational institutions is crucial. We have conducted research in this field as a result. Participants in the Slovenian educational system had their digital competencies evaluated using the DigComp2.2 framework. We conducted a survey among a sample of 698 participants (33 school leaders and 665 teachers) from Slovenian primary and secondary schools, which examined the digital competences of Slovenian teachers. We were interested in whether the school leaders pays attention to teachers' needs in this area. Using the DigComp2.2 framework, the school leaders (principals) evaluated the competencies of the teachers at their institution. Teachers self-assessed using the DigiComp2.2 framework. The Mann-Whitney test was used for statistical analysis of the data. It cannot be concluded that there is a discrepancy between the school leaders' evaluations and the teachers' self-assessments in the Slovenian educational system because the findings did not reveal any statistically significant disparities between the assessments of the school leaders and the instructors. However, it is believed that greater cooperation between teachers and school administrators is essential, particularly when it comes to community development.
