  • Določevanje koeficientov Parisove enačbe pri širjenju utrujenostnih razpok

    The paper describes the experimental determination of fatigue crack growth parameters, i.e. coefficients C and m of the Paris equation. The parameters are obtained according to the standard procedure ... ASTME E 399-80 using three-point bending speciments made of hardened steel (20MnCr5 as the DIN Standard). Four specimens were subjected to impulsive cyclic loading on a testing device. During the tests the lengths of propagating cracks were recorded at certain loading intervals. The results of the experiental testing together with the analytically determined stress intensity range [delta] K enabled explicit determination of parameters C and m. The obtained parameters are of a significant practical importance since the tested material is commonly used for high quality mechanical elements like gears.
