    The paper explores the effects of the new economy on the growth and development of the primary economic sector, or in other words, tries to find out whether natural resources still make a significant ... source of comparative advantages in the 21st century. The findings should contribute to understanding the possibilities of the primary economic sector to improve the competitive advantage of the national economy, and thus, in spite of numerous paradoxes, which are attributed to agricultural production in the world, constantly contributes to forming of new business ventures with specific advantages in the conditions of the new economy.
