  • Colours in relationship to time cycles

    We observed that astnomical relationships between earth and sun influence the natural daily and yearly cycles. Through them we explained the symbolic relationships between achromatic and chromatic ... colours, which lead us to consolidations between colours and time cycles. We completed the four-seasonal typology by adding eight intermediate periods, and so the twelve-period seasonal colour system (TPS-CS) was classified. We put the TPS-CS scheme on a sine curve and observed a new constellation between colours and the grey scale in the dynamic colour model (DCM). The TPD-CS system allowed us to classify colour values in accordance with their symbolic meaning in relation to time-cycles. DCM povides us with a useful tool for colour analysis, counselling and design.
