  • A different modelling approach for modelling of hydraulic systems for educational purposes
    Tovornik, Boris ; Bratina, Božidar
In this paper a different modelling approach for modelling of hydraulic systems is presented. The modelling approach deals with how to obtain an adequate (not necessary a complete) mathematical model ... of most common hydraulic systems in industrial environment suitable for behaviour simulation, control testing, educating purposes, by using partial and general models (model of pump, model of pipe line, model of sensor, model of tank, model of valve). All partial models logically and properly connected together in Matlab/Simulink environment forms the mathematical model of desired system. The difference between classical and presented approach is explained where a non-linear and linearized model of two tanks is derived. The obtained model of the process is simulated and experimental results show the potential of the presented modelling method.
