Jedan od izazova s kojim se suočava kršćanska teologija, osobito iz svoje etičke perspektive, zasigurno je proces dekonstrukcije pojmova. Među takvim pojmovima spomenimo pojam kulture koja nije više shvaćena u svojoj izvornosti kao briga za stvorenje – uključujući i čovjeka. Rađa se tehnokratska kultura u kojoj čovjek prestaje biti subjekt tehnologije, a tehnologija prestaje biti moć u službi čovjeka, već postaje ključni činitelj antropološke i društvene preobrazbe. Razni znanstveno-kulturni pokreti preuzimaju glavnu ulogu i voditelji su procesa metamorfoze – kulturne i antropološke. Daleko od toga da treba suprotstaviti te dvije instancije – teologiju i tehnologiju, valja ići putem dijaloga i otkrivati na koji se način danas stvaranje nastavlja i u tehnološkoj kulturi te na koji način teologija može dati svoj doprinos tehnološkom razvoju kao novom obliku očitovanja kulture. One of the challenges that Christian theology is faced with, especially from its ethical perspective, is certainly the process of deconstructing concepts. Among such concepts, let us mention the concept of culture that is no longer understood in its original meaning as care for the creature – including man. A technocratic culture is born in which man ceases to be a subject of technology, and technology ceases to be a power in the service of man but becomes a key factor in anthropological and social transformation. Various scientific and cultural movements take the leading role and lead the process of cultural and anthropological metamorphosis. Far from it that we should oppose these two instances – theology and technology, we are called to establish and promote dialogue and to discover how creation continues today in technological culture, and how theology can contribute to technological development as a new form of cultural expression.
