    The Cover Feature shows the direct enzymatic degradation of post‐consumer PET packaging by a novel metagenomic polyester hydrolase. The monomers can be recovered and used for the production of virgin PET, thereby achieving a closed‐loop plastic recycling process with a low carbon footprint.
