  • Primerljivost ESG-ocen različnih bonitetnih agencij = Comparability of ESG ratings of different rating agencies

    ESG ratings are gaining importance. Despite the growing trend however, investors are left without a consistent guidance regarding the selection of ESG investments. ESC scoring agencies use very ... different methodologies to calculate their ratings. Data and matrices are also unavailable, which altogether leads to low correlation of ESG scores. Efficiently designed and more uniform methodology would contribute significatly towards quality of ESG status and progress of individual companies. In addition, it would also give credibility to ESG trends and implementation into investment portfolios. Greater credibility in ESG investing would simultaneously increase the capital allocated for sustainable investing and increase liquidity. With this development, ESG investing would achieve its purpose - to influence sustainable changes in society.
