  • Holistic understanding of interactions among innovations and projects

    In the modern business environment with its quick and constant change, both innovations and projects proved to be important for stimulating business systems development. But (too) many promising ... ideas, inventions and projects never or only partly reach their potentials (goals). The need to improve efficiency of projects' and innovations' implementation and their later use has generated many scientific and practical propositions. Among them we can find some suggestions on linking and exploring interactions among projects and innovations, but they proved to be too one-sided and narrow. Here we expose the need to strengthen and clarify the link between projects and innovations aimed to reach potential synergetic benefits arising from it. We propose four different possible interactions, i.e. innovations through projects processes, innovations in projects results, innovations in project management processes, and project management as an innovation.
