The preservation of natural resources and environmental protection forced the researchers to find alternative technologies for modification of polyester materials to reduce water consumption, energy ... and large amounts of toxic chemicals. For the above reasons, the process of wet processing of textile materials recently processed by ultrasound. Tribomechanical activation of zeolites, clinoptilolite is grinding to sub-micro level, including activation process of nanoparticles, as well. Impregnation of textile material with zeolite nanoparticles, it increases the active surface area, antimicrobral and UV protection, and its flame retardancy. Therefore, in this paper polyester fabric designed for summer garments, was ultrasound treated without and with implementation of activated nanoparticles of natural zeolite. The characterization of surface was performed applying scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The adsorption ability of water and optical brighteners was performed as well.
