Model prenosa stacionarnih karakteristik motorjev v vlečni diagram vozila

In order to be able to evaluate the criteria of economy, ergonomy and ecology already in the conception stage of new vehicles, or to evaluate properly the mentioned criteria for the existing vehicles ...by avoiding complex and expensive testing, we developed a model used for the transr of stationary engine characteristics into the performance diagram of the vehicle, thus allowing rapid and reliable evaluation of the mentioned criteria. Included is the description of the model`s design procedure with reference to the specific fuel consumption. In this way a diagram of fuel consumption was obtained. The suitability of the model has been confirmed by practical measurements of driving the sample vehicle on test routes. The elaborated model can also be used for the transfer of other steady-state engine performance characteristics.
