In this paper, we mainly focus on the existence of the mild solution for the Hilfer fractional differential inclusions with almost sectorial operators. By using the results on the fractional ...calculus, sectorial operators, semigroup theory, and Dhage's fixed point theorem, we prove the primary results. Finally, an example is presented to demonstrate the theory obtained.
ABSTRACT
We present observations of ASASSN-19dj, a nearby tidal disruption event (TDE) discovered in the post-starburst galaxy KUG 0810+227 by the All-Sky Automated Survey for Supernovae (ASAS-SN) at ...a distance of d ≃ 98 Mpc. We observed ASASSN-19dj from −21 to 392 d relative to peak ultraviolet (UV)/optical emission using high-cadence, multiwavelength spectroscopy and photometry. From the ASAS-SN g-band data, we determine that the TDE began to brighten on 2019 February 6.8 and for the first 16 d the rise was consistent with a flux ∝t2 power law. ASASSN-19dj peaked in the UV/optical on 2019 March 6.5 (MJD = 58548.5) at a bolometric luminosity of L = (6.2 ± 0.2) × 1044 erg s−1. Initially remaining roughly constant in X-rays and slowly fading in the UV/optical, the X-ray flux increased by over an order of magnitude ∼225 d after peak, resulting from the expansion of the X-ray emitting region. The late-time X-ray emission is well fitted by a blackbody with an effective radius of ∼1 × 1012 cm and a temperature of ∼6 × 105 K. The X-ray hardness ratio becomes softer after brightening and then returns to a harder state as the X-rays fade. Analysis of Catalina Real-Time Transient Survey images reveals a nuclear outburst roughly 14.5 yr earlier with a smooth decline and a luminosity of LV ≥ 1.4 × 1043 erg s−1, although the nature of the flare is unknown. ASASSN-19dj occurred in the most extreme post-starburst galaxy yet to host a TDE, with Lick HδA = 7.67 ± 0.17 Å.

(BTS) compounds possessing layered crystal structure show anisotropic electronic and thermal transport properties. This ...research is in pursuit of better understanding the anisotropic thermal properties using Raman spectroscopy. A systematic Raman spectroscopic study of the hot-pressed pellet of the textured p-type SBT and n-type BTS is reported in both directions: parallel (|) and perpendicular ( ) to the pressing axis as a function of temperature and laser power. The first-order temperature coefficient, optical thermal conductivity, and phonon lifetime are qualitatively determined from the temperature and laser power-dependent frequency and full-width half maximum (FWHM) of Raman peaks (A

). Anisotropy in experimental phonon thermal conductivity in both directions is correlated with the approximated optical thermal conductivity, phonon lifetime and phonon anharmonicity. The anisotropy in phonon anharmonicity in both directions is explained by the modified Klemens-Hart-Aggarwal-Lax phonon decay model. In this study, the symmetric three-phonon scattering process is considered responsible for thermal transport in the temperature range of 300 to 473 K.

Business incubators have emerged worldwide as highly popular methods for promotion of economic development in the industrialised and emerging economies. The present study tries to analyse the role of ...Networking; linkage with university and Facilities on Technology Business Incubation (TBI) performance. The study uses PLS-SEM to design a model collecting data from 60 managers of TBIs in India. Prior studies have taken Networking; Linkage with University and Facilities as independent variables and the mediating role of facilities has not been examined earlier. This motivated the researchers' to examine this. The findings support the role of networking on TBI performance. In case of Linkage with University with facilities as mediating variable the indirect effect is 0.54 and direct effect becomes negative and insignificant highlighting full mediation of facilties. Networking and linkage with University emerge as important predictors to stimulate TBI performance. Implications of the study: The present model can help the TBI managers to execute their functions in an effective and productive way with due focus on linkage with universities through facilities to stimulate TBI performance. The results of positive and significant impact of networking on TBI performance can serve to help TBI managers better serve their clients.
Scheduling of jobs and resources on a shop floor is an ever green optimization problem. Job shop scheduling problem (JSSP) is an allocation of ‘n’ jobs on ‘m’ machines so as to complete processing of ...all jobs in a minimum possible time. The JSSP has been addressed by various direct, indirect methods, programs, and algorithms in the last 40 year of literature. This paper presents a new paradigm of invasive weed optimization which mimics the process of weed colonization and distribution to solve JSSPs. The algorithm had shown encouraging and promising outputs on standard benchmarking problems.
In this paper, we explain how
‐Caputo fractional differential equations are approximately controllable. The outcome is demonstrated using the infinitesimal operator, fractional calculus, semigroup ...theory, and Krasnoselskii fixed point theorem. To begin, we emphasize the presence of the mild solution and show that the
‐Caputo fractional system is approximately controllable. Additionally, an example is provided to illustrate the idea.
•The maximum zT is obtained for the moderate cooling rate samples because of defects generation in Sb2Te3/Te nanocomposite.
Melt-solidification cooling-rate dependent thermoelectric-performance of ...Sb2Te3/Te nanocomposite.
Display omitted
Polycrystalline Sb2Te3/Te nanocomposites were prepared using the melt-quenching process, wherein different quenching mediums such as alkaline ice water, ice water, normal water, liquid nitrogen, and air-cooling were used. The existence of both Sb2Te3 and Te phases was revealed by various structural characterizations. The rate of melt solidification has a significant influence on the composition, microstructure, and thermoelectric transport properties of Sb2Te3/Te nanocomposites. The moderate cooling rate (normal water and liquid nitrogen cooling) of melt solidification showed a higher figure of merit (zT) value of ~0.25 at 423 K due to higher defect density. The different zT values observed for different quenching mediums and the correlation between melt solidification rate and the structural and thermoelectric transport properties were discussed in this paper.
Prior literature of family business reflects a relation between the decision-making process and performance, but how the decision making is linked with the organizational and attitudinal factors has ...yet not been explored deeply. A sincere and dedicated effort has been made to undertake exhaustive review to comprehend the relationship between family businesses, leadership styles, and strategic decision-making, especially by covering the attitudinal factors along with organizational factors. The primary aim is to create a framework showing the linkages between organizational and attitudinal factors with leadership style and also to indicate how leadership style through strategic decision-making influences business performance in family businesses. The framework is then validated through empirical data related with family business. A validated model is helpful for both academia and practitioners. The results reflect how family businesses are digressing from the traditional dominant autocratic style towards the transformational leadership style. Adding of attitudinal factors along with organizational factors has helped to explain the present shift. The designed framework can be used to analyze the impact of different organizational and attitudinal factors affecting different leadership styles and performance measure outcomes. The results reflect dominance of attitudinal factors in comparison to organizational factors in both autocratic as well as transformational leadership style. The results support that transformational leadership style through mediation of strategic decision-making influences business performance significantly. These findings will help in making family business leaders aware of the influence of their leadership style through strategic decision-making on business performance.
This work investigates the impact of entrepreneurial experiential learning (EL) on students' entrepreneurial intention (EI), through the lens of entrepreneurial self-efficacy (ESE). To provide a ...comprehensive viewpoint, the direct impact of entrepreneurial attitude (EA) on entrepreneurial intention has also been looked at. This study, has adopted existing scales to measure entrepreneurial intention, entrepreneurial attitude, and entrepreneurial self-efficacy. For experiential learning, a structured scale has been designed on the basis of its existing scales. Data were collected from 669 students, enrolled in entrepreneurial courses/programs. Punjab, Haryana, and National capital region (NCR) are the three Indian regions considered for the survey. The results highlight that there is a positive influence of experiential learning on entrepreneurial intention though β-value is low (0.042). While the β-value with mediation influence of entrepreneurial self-efficacy between experiential learning and entrepreneurial intention was 0.090 (0.697*0.130), which states that entrepreneurial self-efficacy mediates and enhances the relationship between experiential learning and entrepreneurial intention. It was also found that there is a direct and strong influence of entrepreneurial attitude on entrepreneurial intention (β-value, 0.872). Thus, there is a need to focus on entrepreneurial attitude, as it strongly influences the intentions of the students. Overall results have a bearing that experiential learning; entrepreneurial self-efficacy and entrepreneurial attitude emerged as important predictors of entrepreneurial intention and explained 89.6% of variations in the model. Moreover, experiential learning with the mediation of entrepreneurial self-efficacy had more impact on entrepreneurial intention. Thus, there is a need to focus on entrepreneurial self-efficacy as well as experiential learning.
