In the current digital era, of course, learning also follows developments by using digital media. Currently, social media is one of the innovations that are widely used as learning media. It is hoped ...that the TikTok application can help students and lecturers create innovative and interactive English learning media. Therefore, this article aims to find out how to use the TikTok application as a medium for learning English in the digital era. This article uses the literature study method by analyzing various studies related to the use of the TikTok application as a medium for learning English. Based on the results, it shows that the TikTok application can be an English language learning medium that is easy to use, innovative, and has various advantages and benefits for students and teachers, such as increasing interest in learning and motivating students to be creative; interactive communication occurs between students and lecturers; and videos can be watched repeatedly with interesting visuals.
Social processes that result in social migration often result in various social problems, such as disintegration between local residents and immigrants, which in the end leads to social inequality ...between local residents and immigrants. With the context of the research in the village of Ranto Panyang Timur Aceh Barat District, and applying descriptive qualitative this study indicated that the process of social inequality in the coastal fishermen community at Ranto Panyang Timur Village proceed since they came to that village, and the forms of the inequality are the neglect and discrimination in the context of social treatment and service from Keuchik (the head of the village) and his official staff. The factors that affect the social inequality between the indigenous residents and the fisherman who were relocated at Ranto Panyang Timur Village, West Aceh Regency were the least committed Keuchik’s, unresponsive village officials, and unfair treatment by the village officials in terms of services, and provide aid to the people who were relocated at Ranto Panyang Timur Village.
Blended learning, integrating traditional face-to-face instruction with online components, has gained momentum in higher education. This study aimed to explore the effect of blended learning on the ...academic performance of students enrolled in the English Department across multiple universities in Aceh, Indonesia. The research specifically aims to compare the effectiveness of blended and offline learning models in facilitating students' learning achievements. The study population encompasses undergraduate students from seven distinguished universities within the Aceh Province, making the research findings relevant and applicable to a diverse range of educational institutions. Quantitative data, gathered through a survey method, formed the basis of this research, enabling a thorough analysis of students' learning outcomes in both blended and offline learning environments. The results of the study reveal a compelling insight: there is no statistically significant difference in students' learning achievements between blended and offline learning models (P = 0.062 > 0.05). This intriguing finding challenges traditional perceptions and underscores the potential of blended education as a viable and effective alternative to conventional classroom learning within the English Department curriculum. The implications of these results are far-reaching, suggesting that universities and lecturers can leverage blended learning platforms without compromising the quality of education provided to English Department students. This research contributes valuable insights to the ongoing discourse on the evolution of educational methodologies, emphasizing the importance of embracing technology-enhanced learning approaches. As the world continues to advance digitally, this study provides a foundation for future exploration and implementation of blended learning strategies, fostering an inclusive and innovative educational landscape for students in Aceh, Indonesia.

The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement ...of speaking skills using the smartphone-based Pinterest application for second-semester students. The type of research used in this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out in 2 cycles. The research subjects are second-semester students. The research instruments are an observation sheet and a performance test sheet. Data collection techniques are used in the form of tests and non-tests. The data analysis technique used is the descriptive statistical technique. The results of the study on second-semester students, experienced a good increase from the learning outcomes of the first cycle to the second cycle, with the standard value of student learning mastery of 85 classical standards. The average value in the first cycle is 48.00 with the level of completeness of learning outcomes in the first cycle of 10% and 90% incomplete. While the learning outcomes in the second cycle with an average value of 85.46 with the completeness level of learning outcomes in the second cycle of 96%, this figure indicates that the average value of the first cycle and the second cycle has increased, so that the smartphone-based Pinterest application in improving speaking skills can improve student learning outcomes.
The purpose of this study is to explore the effectiveness of English Teaching Module at middle schools in West Aceh. The students of middle school studying in Government public school were the ...population of study. The control group, as well as the experimental group, was of equal size, each has 30 students of 8th class. The significance of the difference between the scores of groups at 0.05 levels was tested by applying t-test. The result of the study showed the difference between the mean scores of the experimental and control group was found to be highly significant. The p- value was found 0. 000 (P< 0.05). The study also proved that the material designed, which was useful for slow as well as of bright students, enabled the students to comprehend difficult concepts, and kept them on the track.

The techniques in data analysis used in this study are 1) data reduction, 2) data presentation, and 3) verification. The results obtained describe the existence of racial discrimination and the attitudes of the main character of the film Hidden Figures' resistance to discrimination which is divided into 6 parts, namely: 1) Racial Justification, 2) Classification Based on Skin Color in Place Settings, 3) Racism in Facilities General Black/Skin, 4) Unpleasant Treatment and, 5) Promote Equality.
The background of this research is to identify or determine the ability to analyze the character analysis of the characters in the film translation Split by M. Night Shymalayan in Semester VI ...Students of Indonesian Language Education Faculty of Teacher Training and Education in the 2022/2023 academic year. The number of samples in this study is 27 people, class B consisted of 24 girls and 6 boys. Data collection was used, namely test sheets and observation sheets. Then, the data analysis used in this study was the Quantitative Description technique, because the data studied were in the form of technical figures for student learning outcomes by identifying or determining the characters in the Split translation film by M. Night Shymalayan by using a certain formula. The results showed that the students' ability to analyze the characters of M. Night Shymalayan's Split translation film character in sixth-semester students of Indonesian language education experienced differences in every aspect that was assessed. The results of data analysis show that the average score obtained or achieved by class B students in the sixth semester of Indonesian language education obtained an average score of 69.26% with a total percentage of 2.57% in the good category. This means that the split translation film media helps students to identify the character analysis skills of M. Night Shymalayan's split translation film characters.
