Nanometer scale cubic ZnTiO{sub 3} has been synthesized by sol-gel method at a lower temperature (600 deg. C). X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis shows that the average crystalline size of the sample ...is {approx}8-10 nm. The cubic to hexagonal phase transition of ZnTiO{sub 3} is clearly observed from the XRD patterns of the sample. The thermal behavior of the sample was characterized by the thermogravimetric/differenthermal analysis (TG/DTA), XRD patterns, and the infrared spectra (IR). Transmission electron microscope (TEM) observations of the sample reveal a high microstructural uniformity.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationships among adolescents'' personality traits, leisure attitudes, and leisure activities preferences. The subjects of ...research are students of a certain national institute in Taichung chosen by means of random cluster sampling. A total of 725 questionnaires were sent out, with 704 of them bringing in effective samples. By using statistical tools of descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and Pearson’s product-moment correlation, the data have been analyzed to reveal the following results:
1. The personality traits of adolescents mostly incline toward "agreeableness," and are less characterized by "negative dominance."
2.In terms of leisure attitude, adolescents lay more stress on leisure recognition; different genders, ages, socio-economic status, monthly expenses for leisure activities, time for leisure activities, and personality traits will affect their leisure preferences.
