Purpose Magnetic resonance imaging-transrectal ultrasound fusion targeted prostate biopsies were suggested to detect significant cancer with more accuracy than systematic biopsies. In this study we ...evaluate the pathological characteristics of multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging detected and undetected tumor foci on radical prostatectomy specimens. Materials and Methods We selected 125 consecutive patients treated with radical prostatectomy for clinically localized prostate cancer diagnosed on magnetic resonance imaging-transrectal ultrasound targeted biopsy and/or systematic biopsy. On multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging each suspicious area was graded according to the PI-RADS score. On radical prostatectomy specimen, tumor foci with a Gleason score greater than 3+3 and/or tumor volume greater than 0.5 ml were considered significant. A correlation analysis between multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging and pathological findings was performed. Results Pathological analysis of radical prostatectomy specimens detected 230 tumor foci. Of these, 137 were considered significant (Gleason score greater than 3+3 in 112) and were observed in 111 (89%) glands. A total of 95 individual tumor foci, including 14 significant foci, were missed with multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging. All of them were located in glands where another focus was detected with multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging. An additional 9 individual tumor foci, including 7 significant, were detected on multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging but missed with targeted biopsy, resulting in 5 (4%) significant cancers undetected with magnetic resonance imaging-transrectal ultrasound fusion targeted biopsy. The magnetic resonance imaging target largest diameter was associated with high volume (greater than 0.5 cc) foci detection, while PI-RADS score and cancer involvement on targeted biopsy were associated with significant foci detection. Conclusions In these series of men with suspicious prostate multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging findings, magnetic resonance imaging-transrectal ultrasound fusion guided targeted biopsy alone strategy would have resulted in the under detection of only 4% significant cancers.
Purpose We evaluated the accuracy of prostate magnetic resonance imaging- transrectal ultrasound targeted biopsy for Gleason score determination. Materials and Methods We selected 125 consecutive ...patients treated with radical prostatectomy for a clinically localized prostate cancer diagnosed on magnetic resonance imaging-transrectal ultrasound targeted biopsy and/or systematic biopsy. On multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging each suspicious area was graded according to PI-RADS™ score. A correlation analysis between multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging and pathological findings was performed. Factors associated with determining the accuracy of Gleason score on targeted biopsy were statistically assessed. Results Pathological analysis of radical prostatectomy specimens detected 230 tumor foci. Multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging detected 151 suspicious areas. Of these areas targeted biopsy showed 126 cancer foci in 115 patients, and detected the index lesion in all of them. The primary Gleason grade, secondary Gleason grade and Gleason score of the 126 individual tumors were determined accurately in 114 (90%), 75 (59%) and 85 (67%) cases, respectively. Maximal Gleason score was determined accurately in 80 (70%) patients. Gleason score determination accuracy on targeted biopsy was significantly higher for low Gleason and high PI-RADS score tumors. Conclusions Magnetic resonance imaging-transrectal ultrasound targeted biopsy allowed for an accurate estimation of Gleason score in more than two-thirds of patients. Gleason score misclassification was mostly due to a lack of accuracy in the determination of the secondary Gleason grade.

Methods
The French Society of Genitourinary Imaging organised a Delphi consensus conference with a two-round Delphi survey followed by a face-to-face meeting. Two separate questionnaires were issued for renal mpMRI and for MRU. Consensus was strictly defined using a priori criteria.
Results
Forty-two expert uroradiologists completed both survey rounds with no attrition between the rounds. Fifty-six of 84 (67%) statements of the mpMRI questionnaire and 44/71 (62%) statements of the MRU questionnaire reached final consensus. An intravenous injection of 20 mg of furosemide before iodinated contrast medium injection was judged mandatory. Improving the quality of excretory phase imaging through oral or intravenous hydration of the patient or through the use of an abdominal compression device was not deemed necessary. The patient should be imaged in the supine position and placed in the prone position only at the radiologist’s request. The choice between single-bolus and split-bolus protocols depends on the context, but split-bolus protocols should be favoured whenever possible to decrease patient irradiation. Repeated single-slice test acquisitions should not be performed to decide of the timing of excretory phase imaging; instead, excretory phase imaging should be performed 7 min after the injection of the contrast medium. The optimal combination of unenhanced, corticomedullary phase and nephrographic phase imaging depends on the context; suggestions of protocols are provided for eight different clinical situations.
Conclusion
This expert-based consensus conference provides recommendations to standardise the imaging protocol for computed tomography urography.

Objectives
To evaluate the ability of high-frequency (29 MHz) transrectal micro-ultrasound (microUS) as a second-look examination after biparametric MRI (bp-MRI) and to reidentify focal lesions seen ...on diagnostic MRI and to detect new ones
Methods
A total of 118 consecutive men (mean age, 66 ± 13 SD years; range, 49–93 years) with a mean prostate-specific antigen level of 11 ± 19 (SD) ng/mL (range, 2–200 ng/mL) and at least one focal lesion (MRI+) with a score > 2 on bp-MRI were included. Of these, 79/118 (66.9%) were biopsy-naïve and 102/118 (86.5%) had non-suspicious rectal examination. All patients had MRI-directed microUS-guided biopsy using a 29-MHz transducer. All lesions visible on micro-ultrasound (microUS+) were targeted without image fusion, which was only used for MRI+/microUS− lesions. Significant prostate cancer (sPCa) was defined by a Gleason score ≥ 7 or a maximum cancer core length > 3 mm.
Results
A total of 144 focal prostatic lesions were analyzed, including 114 (114/144, 79.2%) MRI+/microUS+ lesions, 13 MRI+/microUS− lesions (13/144, 9%), and 17 MRI−/microUS+ lesions (17/144, 11.8%). Significant PCa was detected in 70 MRI+/microUS+ lesions (70/114, 61.4%), in no MRI+/microUS− lesion (0/13, 0%), and in 4 MRI-/microUS+ lesions (4/17, 23.5%). The sensitivity and specificity of microUS on a per-patient and a per-lesion basis were 100% (95% CI, 84.9–100%) and 22.8% (95% CI, 12.5–35.8%) and 100% (95% CI, 85.1–100%) and 22.6% (95% CI, 12.3–36.2%), respectively.
Conclusion
MicroUS, as a second-look examination, may show promise to localize targets detected on bp-MRI.

Abstract Patients with ulcerative colitis are at increased risk for venous thrombosis. We report herein the case of a 28-year-old woman who developed multiple intraabdominal venous thrombosis, ...including partial Budd–Chiari syndrome in association with intracranial venous thrombosis and pulmonary embolism during the relapse of a known ulcerative colitis. Multidetector-row computed tomography (MDCT) allowed depiction of multiple intraabdominal sites of thrombosis including right and medial hepatic veins, left portal vein, splenic vein and left ovarian vein and demonstrated complete resolution of the multiple thrombi after anticoagulant therapy. The association of partial Budd–Chiari syndrome with other thrombi involving portal, splenic and ovarian veins in association with ulcerative colitis, has, to our knowledge never been reported yet. In addition, the potential role of MDCT in the detection of possible multiple thrombosis in patients with ulcerative colitis has never been emphasized.
There is an emblematic clinical and genetic heterogeneity associated with inherited retinal diseases (IRDs). The most common form is retinitis pigmentosa (RP), a rod-cone dystrophy caused by ...pathogenic variants in over 80 different genes. Further complexifying diagnosis, different variants in individual RP genes can also alter the clinical phenotype. USH2A is the most prevalent gene for autosomal-recessive RP and one of the most challenging because of its large size and, hence, large number of variants. Moreover, USH2A variants give rise to non-syndromic and syndromic RP, known as Usher syndrome (USH) type 2, which is associated with vision and hearing loss. The lack of a clear genotype-phenotype correlation or prognostic models renders diagnosis highly challenging. We report here a long-awaited differential non-syndromic RP and USH phenotype in three human disease-specific models: fibroblasts, induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), and mature iPSC-derived retinal organoids. Moreover, we identified distinct retinal phenotypes in organoids from multiple RP and USH individuals, which were validated by isogenic-corrected controls. Non-syndromic RP organoids showed compromised photoreceptor differentiation, whereas USH organoids showed a striking and unexpected cone phenotype. Furthermore, complementary clinical investigations identified macular atrophy in a high proportion of USH compared with RP individuals, further validating our observations that USH2A variants differentially affect cones. Overall, identification of distinct non-syndromic RP and USH phenotypes in multiple models provides valuable and robust readouts for testing the pathogenicity of USH2A variants as well as the efficacy of therapeutic approaches in complementary cell types.
Drag reduction by polymer addition is a common strategy used to minimize friction losses in pipe flows but has not been tested in river flows. Present paper then aims at measuring backwater curves ...and velocity profiles within smooth and rough bed flume configurations to assess the capabilities of such polymer addition to decrease the water depth with regards to the use of plain water and thus increase the channel conveyance. The inclusion of a limited amount of polymers proves to be able to reduce the typical Darcy-Weisbach friction coefficient with regards to plain water by a factor 2 in smooth bed conditions and a factor 1.5 in rough bed conditions. Moreover, the vertical profiles of streamwise velocity appear to be hardly affected by the addition of such polymers. Whether such drag reduction would still be effective in real watercourses remains unknown and would now require field experiments at larger scale.
The objective of our study was to analyze the feasibility and potential role of robotic-assisted transrectal MRI-guided biopsy for the diagnosis of prostate cancer.
A total of 57 patients (mean age, ...67 ± 6 SD years; age range, 57-83 years; mean prostate-specific antigen level, 10.7 ± 6.1 ng/mL) with a single prostatic lesion visible on biparametric MRI (T2-weighted and DW images) underwent robotic-assisted MRI-guided transrectal biopsy. The procedure was analyzed in terms of technical success, defined by an accurate alignment of the needle guide with the lesion; occupation time of the MRI room; number of cores; cancer detection rate (CDR); and complications.
The biparametric MRI score was 3, 4, and 5 in 11 (19%), 30 (53%), and 16 (28%) of the 57 patients, respectively. Twenty-three lesions (23/57, 40%) originated in the peripheral zone and 34 (34/57, 60%) in the transition zone. Software-based adjustments of the robot allowed the needle guide to be aligned with the target in all lesions. The number of cores was one, two, three, and four in one (2%), 36 (63%), 18 (32%), and three (5%) patients, respectively. Obtaining more than two cores had no incremental value in determining the Gleason score or the maximum cancer core length (MCCL). The overall CDR for any cancer was 67% (38/57). It was 95% (36/38) for tumors with Gleason grade of more than 3 or MCCL greater than 3 mm and 53% (20/38) for tumors with Gleason score greater than 6. No complications were observed. The median occupation time of the MRI room was 37.8 ± 9.7 minutes (range, 32-74 minutes).
Robotic-assisted MRI-guided biopsy yields 100% technical success rate with a short MRI room occupation time and high CDRs using one or two cores.
