This ...research started with curiosity to find out how much and how the personality competence of PAI teachers contributes to students' learning motivation in facing school exams at SMP NU Palangka Raya. This study aims to find out how the personality competence of PAI teachers contributes to students' learning motivation in facing school exams at SMP NU Palangka Raya. This study uses a quantitative analysis approach. The sample in this study were 9th grade students of SMP NU Palangka Raya, totaling 79 students. Collecting data using a questionnaire and then analyzed using regression analysis. The results of the study show that there is a significant contribution from the personality competence of Islamic religious education teachers to students' learning motivation in facing school examinations at SMP NU Palangka Raya. The contribution or influence given was 33.9%. This shows that the teacher's personality is very important in carrying out the learning process in the classroom. Because motivation is very important in improving student achievement. For this reason, teachers are expected to foster motivation to learn in students in various ways according to the ability of the teacher and attractive to students
Morals are a very important element in a person's life because someone who has character means having a benchmark for the quality of his personality. Moral education can be instilled in various ways, ...one of which is through technological sophistication. Technology that can be said to be not new and growing rapidly is film. One of the films that entertain and educate today is the animated film, Omar and Hana. The purpose of this research is to analyze what are the values of moral education in the animated film Omar and Hana. This study uses a qualitative research approach with library research methods. The data sources used are primary data sources and secondary data sources. Data collection techniques used are observation and documentary techniques. The data analysis technique used the semiotic analysis of the Roland Barthes model. The results of this study indicate that the values of moral education contained in the animated films of Omar and Hana episodes "Start with Bismillah" and "Mission Fasting" which include: the value of gratitude, the value of amar ma'ruf nahi mungkar, the value of endeavour, the value of patience and angry value.
This study aims to describe the implementation of character education at the madrasahs and integrated Islamic schools, namely at: SDIT Al-Ghazali, MIN 1 Palangka Raya, SMP-IT Al-Ghazali, MTsN 1 ...Palangka Raya, SMA-IT Hasanka and MAN Kapuas. The principals, teachers, parents and students were the research informants. Data were collected through participant observation, in-depth interview, and documentary study. The triangulation was used to check the trustworthiness of the data. The results showed that the implementation of discipline was by giving rewards and punishments according to school rules; honesty by using the Kantin Kejujuran and some CCTV, while hard work by using school assignments, group study and student work. Supporting and inhibiting factors include teachers, parents, students and the school environment. This finding confirms that schools have their own ways in applying character education based on each of their vision, need and condition. Any future research can be more directed at implementing character in Islamic madrasahs/schools, families, and communities so that they are able to provide role models and scientific treasures in this issue, considering that character is very important, especially in this age of character crisis among students.
This study aims to explore the role of Kyai and Ustadz in implementing religious moderation education at Pondok Pesantren in Central Kalimantan. The study was conducted at four Pondok Pesantren in ...Central Kalimantan, namely Pondok Pesantren Hidayatul Insan, Pondok Pesantren Hasanka, Pondok Pesantren Darul Ulum, and Pondok Pesantren Darul Amin Sampit. This study is a qualitative study with an interpretive paradigm. The study was conducted from April to September 2021. Data was obtained through observation, interviews and documentary studies. Informants in this study were educators in Pondok Pesantren, namely Kyai, Ustadz, and teachers who teach. The data obtained were then analysed using interactive qualitative analysis techniques: data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. This study found that there are five roles of Kyai and Ustadz in religious moderation education, namely the role of conservator, innovator, the role of transmitter, the role of a transformer, and role of organiser. Departing from these findings, it can be concluded that there is a connectivity between academic and managerial dimensions in implementing religious moderation education at Pondok Pesantren in Central Kalimantan. At this level, Kyai and Ustadz not only play a role in providing understanding and knowledge regarding religious moderation but also carry out managerial activities so that religious moderation education can be carried out and be successful.Keywords: Religious Moderation; Pondok Pesantren; Kyai; Ustadz

Background: Amorolfine nail lacquer was mentioned as an effective treatment for non-dermatophyte nail infection. Onychomycosis that caused by Neoscytalidium dimidiatum is considered recalcitrant ...onychomycosis. Objective: This study aimed to demonstrate efficacy and treatment outcomes of amorolfine nail lacquer in N. dimidiatum onychomycosis, compared with topical urea treatment. Methods: This was a retrospective study of patients daiagnosed as N. dimidiatum onychomycosis at dermatologic clinic between April 2010 and August 2014. Clinical manifestations and laboratory results were collected. The evaluation included 50% improvement, which meant 50% decrease in subungual hyperkeratosis thickness from original untreated nails. Mycological cure is defined by negative result of both KOH and fungal culture. Moreover, complete cure means infected nails return to its normal condition as well as KOH and fungal culture yield negative results. Results: Among 53 outpatients of N. dimidiatum infection, 28 (52.8%) were treated by amorolfine nail lacquer and other 26 (47.2%) by conventional topical urea cream with occlusion. Comparison between amorolfine and topical urea groups, mycological cure rate was significantly shown in amorolfine group (89.3% vs. 32%; p < 0.0001). Moreover, 50% clinical improvement and complete cure rate of amorolfine group were significantly higher than those of topical urea group (85.7% vs. 48%; p = 0.003 and 50% vs. 20%; p = 0.023, respectively). Median time to mycological cure and complete cure in amorolfine group was significantly shorter than that of topical urea group (p = 0.001 and p = 0.013, respectively). Conclusion: This study supported that amorolfine nail lacquer provided promising efficacy in the treatment of Neoscytalidium onychomycosis as a novel monotherapy regimen which were superior to topical urea cream with occlusion in every aspect.
This study aimed to evaluate the risk factors for prognostic of post-stroke dementia (PSD). A systematic review included case-control and/or cohort studies, we searched both published and unpublished ...literatures between 2000 to July 31, 2016. Two authors independently screened and selected research articles. If another one disagreed, the third author would be just along with his/her professionally. Moreover, Critical appraisal was measured by the quality (GRADE). Data collection was in the data extraction form. The Rev-Man 5.3 was used to estimate pooled data. The fixed-effect model will be used when the heterogeneity I2>50%. Result eight publications were pooled for measuring an association between risk factors and PSD by meta-analysis. There were 6 strongly PSD risk factors. The pooled relative ratio (RR) of atrial fibrillation was 1.68, previous stroke 1.59, myocardial infarction 1.40, hypertension 1.36, diabetes mellitus 1.25 and previous transient ischemic attack 1.25 respectively. Un-pooled data from 13 publications reported that the risk factors for dementia in stroke patients were i) demographic factors, ii) vascular risk factors, iii) stroke factors, iv) stroke complications, and v) abnormalities on brain imaging. Strongly risk factors associated with increasing PSD risk were atrial fibrillation, previous stroke, myocardial infarction, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, and previous transient ischemic attack. Further studies, strongly risk factors need to investigate and develop the risk score for the prediction of dementia in stroke patients.
The importance of learning motivation is as a form of encouragement in learning that arises in students consciously to carry out learning activities, making it easier to achieve learning goals in PAI ...subjects at SMP Muhammadiyah. The purpose of this study is to determine the motivation to learn. This type of research is mixed methods, which is the subject of 67 grade VIII students of SMPN 8 Palangka Raya and the informant is a PAI teacher. Data collection techniques are using questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. Data validation techniques use source triangulation, tabulation techniques and percentages, while data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation and verification. The results showed that student motivation in learning PAI at SMPN 8 Palangka Raya with a low level of 32.83%, a medium level of 44.77%, a high level of 20.89% and a very high level of 1.49%. So it can be concluded that overall student motivation in participating in PAI learning is 74.82% included in the medium motivation category. The intrinsic factors that affect student motivation include student perseverance in participating in PAI learning, feeling needed in PAI Learning and the existence of hopes and aspirations with PAI learning. While extrinsic factors such as a conducive learning environment, teachers who teach PAI learning and facilities in PAI learning.
