A 2-distance-primitive graph is a vertex-transitive graph whose vertex stabilizer is primitive on both the first step and the second step neighborhoods. Let $\Gamma$ be such a graph. This paper shows ...that either $\Gamma$ is a cyclic graph, or $\Gamma$ is a complete bipartite graph, or $\Gamma$ has girth at most $4$ and the vertex stabilizer acts faithfully on both the first step and the second step neighborhoods. Also a complete classification is given of such graphs satisfying that the vertex stabilizer acts $2$-transitively on the second step neighborhood. Finally, we determine the unique 2-distance-primitive graph which is locally cyclic.
Self-complementary Cayley graphs are useful in the study of Ramsey numbers, but they are relatively very rare and hard to construct. In this paper, we construct several families of new ...self-complementary Cayley graphs of order $p^4$ where $p$ is a prime and congruent to $1$ modulo $8$.
A blended solution as a CO2 capture agent was composed of potassium citrate (PC) and 2-amino-2-methyl-1-propanol (AMP). Density, viscosity and surface tension of the blended solution were determined ...in the range of (293.15–323.15) K, respectively. Physical characteristics of the blended solution were discussed and compared with that of single component and other blended systems. Correlations were developed to predict the three physical properties of the blended solution. Results indicate that when overall concentration of the blended solution increases, quality of the solution increases to result in the increase of values of the three physical properties. The three physical properties decrease as both temperature and AMP molar ratio in the blended solution increase. Prediction values from the correlations and experimental values fit reasonably well. The correlations for the three physical properties can give extra data of the system of (PC + AMP) solution.
•New data for ρ, η and γ of (PC + AMP) solutions were characterized.•New correlations for the three physical properties were developed.•The correlations can give all values of the three physical properties.•Prediction values can be applied in researches and engineering design.•Measurement accuracies were not more than ±1.7% for three properties.
A graph is said to be symmetric if its automorphism group is transitive on its arcs. Guo et al. (Electronic J. Combin. 18, \#P233, 2011) and Pan et al. (Electronic J. Combin. 20, \#P36, 2013) ...determined all pentavalent symmetric graphs of order \(4pq\). In this paper, we shall generalize this result by determining all connected pentavalent symmetric graphs of order four times an odd square-free integer. It is shown in this paper that, for each of such graphs \(\it\Gamma\), either the full automorphism group \({\sf Aut}\it\Gamma\) is isomorphic to \({\sf PSL}(2,p)\), \({\sf PGL}(2,p)\), \({\sf PSL}(2,p){\times}\mathbb{Z}_2\) or \({\sf PGL}(2,p){\times}\mathbb{Z}_2\), or \(\it\Gamma\) is isomorphic to one of 8 graphs.
The genuine entanglement of Dirac fields for an N-partite system is investigated in Schwarzschild spacetime and the analysis is carried out using the single-mode approximation. Due to the Hawking ...effect, quantum entanglement is divided into two parts physically accessible and inaccessible entanglement. We obtain a general analytic expression of genuine N-partite entanglement that includes all accessible and inaccessible entanglement in a Schwarzschild black hole. Unlike bosonic entanglement, the accessible N-partite entanglement of Dirac fields monotonically decreases to a nonzero value with the Hawking temperature. Interestingly, the inaccessible N-partite entanglement is a monotonic or non-monotonic function of the Hawking temperature, depending on the ratio between accessible and inaccessible modes, in contrast to bipartite or tripartite entanglement that is only a monotonic function of the Hawking temperature. Finally, we obtain two restrictive relationships for the quantum information of the black hole. This conclusion provides a new understanding of Hawking effect of the black hole.
γδ T cells are a distinct subgroup of T cells that bridge the innate and adaptive immune system and can attack cancer cells in an MHC-unrestricted manner. Trials of adoptive γδ T cell transfer in ...solid tumors have had limited success. Here, we show that DNA methyltransferase inhibitors (DNMTis) upregulate surface molecules on cancer cells related to γδ T cell activation using quantitative surface proteomics. DNMTi treatment of human lung cancer potentiates tumor lysis by ex vivo-expanded Vδ1-enriched γδ T cells. Mechanistically, DNMTi enhances immune synapse formation and mediates cytoskeletal reorganization via coordinated alterations of DNA methylation and chromatin accessibility. Genetic depletion of adhesion molecules or pharmacological inhibition of actin polymerization abolishes the potentiating effect of DNMTi. Clinically, the DNMTi-associated cytoskeleton signature stratifies lung cancer patients prognostically. These results support a combinatorial strategy of DNMTis and γδ T cell-based immunotherapy in lung cancer management.
The adhesion and wettability of Cu(111)/TiC(111) and Cu(111)/WC(0001) interface system were studied by first-principles simulations comparatively. It is found that the C terminal is more active than ...metal (Ti, W) terminal in both TiC(111) and WC(111) due to the high surface energy, and thereby the C terminal is more likely to form the interface with Cu. The hybridization between the Cud and Cp orbital leads to a strong Cu-C bonding at the interface, which makes the Wsep of C terminal interface is higher than the metal terminal interface. In addition, the W-C covalent bond weakens the Cu-C electronic interaction at the Cu/WC interface, leading to a lower Wsep of Cu(111)/WC(0001) comparing to the Cu(111)/TiC(111). The wetting angle of metal/carbide can be calculated by the combining of the surface energy and interface energy, and the C-terminated Cu(111)/TiC(111) system has the lowest wetting angle. The DOS results demonstrated that the bonding strength between metal and carbide rely not only on the types of carbide, but also on the electronic structure of metal.

This research investigates one of the process or element doping methods used to enhance the reliability of resistive random access memory (RRAM). A supercritical fluid process combines the advantages ...of the high permeability of gas with the solubility of liquids, and this novel process introduces water molecules into the supercritical fluid for oxidation in order to improve the resistance of random storage. In terms of reliability of the memory, while previous research has used an oxygen plasma treatment to improve RRAM device performance, this work performed a comparison of the two methods and found that the supercritical oxidation treatment can reduce the forming voltage by 25% and produce superior electrical operation, with an endurance test exhibiting an increase to 10 8 cycles and an improvement of 10 2 . The material analysis confirmed that, during the resistance switching process, the switching layer was more oxidized after this novel supercritical oxidation, resulting in the reduction of operating current and improved reliability compared with the plasma oxidation device.
