Studies of journalism in the past have focused on the analysis of records of everyday events. But now we should pay more attention to how those recorded events were communicated to and recognized by ...the people. In present-day society, flooded with information, in many cases much valuable information is transmitted only to be thrown away, without attracting atttention. Especially the case with news on environmental problems which are closely related to our everyday life. It is precisely in this field, therefore, that research should be conducted on what journalism should do to communicate with people concerned and how to gain their recognition. The results will serve as an index in evaluating future jnurnalistic activities.

Oral health is closely related to the condition of competitive athletes and those engaged in other sports. Dental diseases can lower performance by interfering with concentration during games and ...practice sessions. This should not be overlooked when providing team support. We began providing dental examinations, counseling on dental treatment and disease prevention, and the fabrication of custom-made mouthguards to motorsport drivers and staff members. In doing so, we found the following. 1. Dental examination and oral hygiene instructions are necessary parts of a medical examination. In only a few cases in this report, full cooperation from a team could be obtained. It is therefore necessary to provide further education on the importance of dental support. 2. Active education of motorsport competitors is necessary with regard to preventing odontogenic attrition, reducing defatigation of masticatory muscles, minimizing oral trauma, and fabricating custom-made mouthguards for racers. In addition to mouthguards, dental check-ups are particularly important.
The purpose of this study is to clear the derailment mechanism and effect of anti-derailing guard rail on large earthquakes because the Shinkansen train was derailed by the Mid Niigata Prefecture ...Earthquake in October 2004. At first, in 2005, we have designed the 1/5 scale vehicle-track model and excitation device and have introduced these devices in Komaki of JR-Central and until now we have conducted the 5000 cases of excitation experiments in order to complement the result of the full-scale bogie excitation test. As a result, we conclude that the derailment occurred in the excitation frequency range of 0.5-2.0Hz (full-scale corresponding value) is the rocking derailment and that the anti-derailing guard is effective for the rocking derailment.
