The results of the international collaboration of the three institutions from Austria, Italy and Slovenia (Alpen-Adria-Universität Klagenfurt, Università degli studi di Udine and ...Znanstvenoraziskovalni center SAZU, Inštitut za arheologijo of Ljubljana) are being published in the Studia Alpium et Adriae series.New discoveries and the re-examination of old ones is offering new insights into the Roman army and the historical questions related to its presence and activity in the regions of the northern Adriatic and the eastern Alps. The first volume of Studia Alpium et Adriae contains the contributions of twenty-one authors from four countries (Italy, Slovenia, Croatia and Austria) who present the results of their work conducted in recent years within different research groups and projects.

građu (Hrvatski list, L’Azione, Pučki prijatelj, Istarska riječ) predstavljaju i
raščlanjuju statistike samoubojstava na ...području Istarske provincije između 1924.,
kada započinje službeno evidentiranje, i 1940. godine. Podaci su komparirani s prosjekom
Kraljevine Italije te susjednom tršćanskom i riječkom provincijom, koje su zajedno
s Istrom (i Goricom) činile regiju Julijsku krajinu (Venezia Giulia), a koja je
bilježila najviše stope suicida na državnoj razini za čitavoga međuratnog razdoblja.
Brojni novinski članci, posebice list L’Azione, koji je opširno i često pisao i izvještavao
o pojedinim slučajevima suicida, te izvještaji kvesture omogućili su donošenje okvirnih
zaključaka, unutar područja povijesne znanosti, o najzastupljenijim dobnim, spolnim
i socijalnim skupinama Istrana koji su si uskratili život kao i o njihovim motivima te
sredstvima kojima su ga počinili. Od kraja 20-ih godina dolazi do promjene u medijskom
fašističkom diskursu te pojam suicida postaje predmetom cenzure kao nepoželjan
element u izravnoj opreci s Duceovom vizijom demografske politike i veličine talijanske
nacije i talijanskog duha.
