The COVID-19 pandemic has forced sudden transformation in many sectors of the global community, turning the world upside down. Everything has been impacted, not excluding the education sector, which ...has experienced some unforeseen changes in many parts of the world. The sudden transition to online pedagogy as a result of COVID-19 in developing countries has exposed some inequalities and challenges, as well as benefits. These challenges and inequalities have now become the new realities in the educational sector of developing countries. Suggestions are provided here so that the challenges presented by the new approach can be mitigated while we come to terms with the disruptions introduced by COVID-19 to our education sector.
This study aimed to develop a Moodle-based e-learning platform with a valid, practical, and effective STEM approach to enhance Higher-Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). The research methodology employed ...for development purposes was the ADDIE model, consisting of five distinct phases: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The selection of research subjects for the field trial was conducted through cluster random sampling, wherein experimental and control classes were chosen. The experimental class utilized a Moodle-based e-learning solution for instructional purposes, while the control class adhered to traditional learning methods. Data were collected using validated questionnaires and written tests. The findings indicated that the Moodle-based e-learning products with a STEM approach are effective in enhancing students’ higher-order thinking skills. This was evident from the average n-Gain gain falling in the "medium" category at 0.62 and an effect size also in the "medium" category at 0.43. Student responses to the Moodle-based e-learning were very positive. Based on the research findings, the researcher offers some recommendations. Teachers aiming to utilize this product could enhance its effectiveness by incorporating additional platforms into their learning activities and resources. Additionally, other researchers interested in advancing further studies can introduce problem-solving activities to stimulate higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) in everyday situations. In conclusion, the Moodle-based STEM e-learning product is effective in enhancing students' HOTS.

Implementasi dalam peningkatan sistem elearning dilakukan di SMAN 6 Kediri. peningkatan kemampuan sistem elearning bertujuan untuk solusi efektif dalam meningkatkan fleksibilitas pembelajaran, mengakomodasi gaya belajar yang beragam, dan memfasilitasi aksesibilitas pembelajaran. Pengenbangan elearning menggunakan platform moodle. Moodle adalah sebuah sistem manajemen pembelajaran daring yang digunakan oleh institusi pendidikan di seluruh dunia. Metode Pkm yang digunakan adalah metode partisipatif. Penggunaan Elearning ini cukup praktis untuk proses pembelajaran daring maupun hybrid sehingga memudahkan siswa dalam proses menerima materi pelajaran. Implementasi pelaksanaan pengabdian ini diharapkan dapat membantu optimalisasi proses pembelajaran maupun hybrid pada SMAN 6 Kediri.
This study aims to develop website-based E-Learning on ICT guidance activities at Hidayatul Musthafawiyah Salafiyah Islamic Boarding School. This study uses Research and Development (RandD) methods. ...This research method uses a 4-D development model to analyze the key stages; defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. The trial was conducted on three learning media experts and 37 students at PPS Hidayatul Musthafawiyah. Descriptive analysis data used in this research activity will include analyzing the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of ICT guidance extracurricular E-Learning. The result shows that the ICT-Counseling extracurricular e-learning verification test score is 96.2%, a valid category. The overall rating of the Practical Aptitude Test is 92.77%, which is an efficient category. The overall effectiveness test rating was 98.51%, indicating that this category was used effectively. This research is in developing a valid, practical, and effective platform in an Islamic boarding school setting. In future research, the effectiveness of the developed e-learning platform can be evaluated through a comparative study with traditional classroom learning or other e-learning platforms. Additionally, further research can be conducted to develop e-learning platforms for other extracurricular activities in Islamic boarding schools.
The purpose of this study is to know the use of LMS Moodle in history study and to know of the obstacles encountered by teachers and trainees in making use of the LMS Moodle. The study uses a ...qualitative approach with case study strategies. Data collection techniques of observation, interview, and document review. The data collected will then be processed to inference. Research shows that during learning done from home 1) 1) history study with an LMS Moodle is done well. The planning, implementation and evaluations of the history teacher have been systematic. The casting of learning with the LMS Moodle was presensi, matter waiver, and evaluation by taking an formative question. During the online study the history teacher has made good use of, but in doing so has not been fully effective. 2) the challenges teachers experience are the making of attractive materials, the media selection to explain the material, the teachers cannot control the learning activities, and the activation of the learners. The performance of learning is inadequate because of age factors, and learners' accessibility is still lacking, and the class's organization is irregular. The challenge for a learner is the often defective LMS Moodle, an unstable Internet network, a lack of understanding of matter, and a usually full cell phone memory.
La educación superior en tiempos de pandemia de COVID 19 provocó un cambio drástico en el proceso educativo reemplazando la modalidad presencial a un entorno totalmente virtual (eLearning) con ...sesiones sincrónicas y asincrónicas donde la telemática dio lugar a un entorno de conexión virtual entre los actores educativos. Desde esta perspectiva es importante identificar la aceptación y uso del LMS MOODLE en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje contrastando las diferentes hipótesis planteadas en función del modelo de aceptación de tecnologías (TAM) en los docentes y estudiantes. La metodología aplicada ha sido cuantitativa con un diseño de investigación experimental de campo cuasi-experimental descriptivo correlacional-causal, de recogida de datos transversal. El análisis de datos se realizó por medio de estadística descriptiva e inferencial. Los resultados tanto en profesores como en estudiantes son significativos superando la media en la autoevaluación en función de la aceptación y uso de MOODLE en el proceso enseñanza-aprendizaje mediante el TAM de manera unidimensional. Al analizar y contrastar las diferentes hipótesis planteadas se puede mencionar que los resultados son concluyentes al determinar que la variable externa competencia tecnológica se correlaciona con la utilidad, facilidad y el disfrute de uso percibido por parte del profesorado que también influyen positiva y significativamente en la actitud e intención de uso de MOODLE. Resultados similares se obtienen para los estudiantes con la diferencia de que la variable competencia tecnológica no se correlaciona con la dimensión disfrute percibido que tampoco influye en la actitud e intención de uso percibido de MOODLE. Por último, en la variable género no existen diferencias significativas en las dimensiones utilidad, facilidad y el disfrute de uso percibido lo cual no influye en la adopción y uso de la tecnología ni en profesores ni en estudiantes.
Pesatnya perkembangan teknologi digital dan kondisi dunia yang sedang mengalami pandemi Covid-19 berimbas pada keberlangsungan pendidikan di semua jenjang sehingga pembelajaran yang semula tatap muka ...menjadi Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh (PJJ). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tanggapan peserta didik terhadap pengembangan desain pembelajaran Fisika menggunakan LMS (Learning Management System) berbasis Moodle berbantuan grup Whatsapp pada pokok bahasan Impuls, Momentum, dan Hukum Kekekalan Momentum di kelas X SMKN 2 Yogyakarta. Metode penelitian Research and Development (R&D) digunakan untuk mengetahui efektifitas produk desain pembelajaran ketika diterapkan dalam PJJ. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata lebih dari 70% peserta didik memberikan tanggapan baik terhadap aspek penggunaan software, isi penyajian, dan tampilan LMS. Dapat ditunjukkan pula peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik yang berkaitan dengan pemahaman konsep melalui metode drilling (pengulangan) pada kegiatan penilaian atau quiz. Perbaikan tampilan muka, memaksimalkan penggunaan fitur-fitur di elearning, membuat/memilih bahan ajar/sumber belajar yang menarik, menyusun urutan materi secara konsisten, memberikan kesempatan peserta didik untuk memaksimalkan upaya memperbaiki hasil belajar, memperbanyak interaksi guru dan peserta didik sebagai bentuk kehadiran sosial melalui grup Whatsapp, serta sikap tegas guru dalam mendisiplinkan peserta didik merupakan faktor penting dalam keberhasilan PJJ.

The purpose of the study is to highlight the theoretical and methodological aspects of preparing the test questions of the most common types in the form of text files for further import into learning ...management system (LMS) Moodle. The subject of the research is the automated filling of the Moodle LMS test database. The objectives of the study: to analyze the import files of test questions, their advantages and disadvantages; to develop guidelines for the preparation of test questions of common types in the form of text files for further import into Moodle LMS. The action algorithms for importing questions and instructions for submitting question files in such formats as Aiken, GIFT, Moodle XML, “True/False” questions, “Multiple Choice” (one of many and many of many), “Matching”, with an open answer — “Numerical” or “Short answer” and “Essay” are offered in this article. The formats for submitting questions, examples of its designing and developed questions were demonstrated in view mode in Moodle LMS.
The Online Language Lab is an innovation aimed at revitalizing English language practice activities in schools, replacing the analog language labs that have long been abandoned by many schools in ...Indonesia. It is known that English language learning focused only on materials such as reading, pronunciation, and speaking without practice can hinder students' ability to communicate effectively in English. We have successfully developed an internet-based Online Language Lab by combining several supporting technologies, including Learning Management System (LMS), speech to text converter, text to speech converter, p5 JavaScript library, Moodle app, and SCORM, to create an interactive online language lab. Students can learn English independently with learning modules tailored to their respective abilities. Our Online Language Lab system has been tested in a school to measure its usability, and the results were very positive. In addition, we also conducted experiments to assess the feasibility of our system and the results showed that it can be implemented widely in various schools in Indonesia. It is expected that with the Online Language Lab, students can significantly improve their English language skills and be better prepared to face global challenges in the future. This is a crucial breakthrough in improving the quality of English language education in Indonesia.
