•We proposed an impactful e-learning model.•A cloud storage model was introduced to access the model.•The course enrolment model was also designed for this model.•Exam and assessments flow diagram ...was also introduced in the e-learning model. The both online and offline system was introduced in this model.•A use case diagram was made to show the total workflow of the e-learning model.
An e-learning model is helpful to enhance online connectivity and learning. This study aims to propose and develop an efficient e-learning framework to strengthen the online learning environment. The single consumer has to play a part in an e-learning system. There is a user-friendly interface for the proposed model. Architecture classifies into various categories. The work shows different parts of a successive model of e-learning and even each section's working process. This model and the structure can take all types of students into account. Since it is possible, there is a solution to this if the system grows using this method. Therefore, for teachers, it would be helpful too. The e-learning model facilitates self-learning for learners. Via this method, teachers can also do any operation. Using this form of system, they can also learn computer abilities and upgrade interactive skills.

There has been a movement to share and spread online lectures through OCW and MOOC systems. This movement would have been spread widely and adopted widely if those courses could be easily ...exchangeable with other platforms or services. If this function is available, learning activities, resources, learning outcomes can be accessed between different platforms and services. With this function, the credit exchange between different platforms or services will be easier. It also facilitates course sharing and circulation. Because the LMS is the basic platform for online classes, providing sharable and reusable learning activities, resources, and learning outcomes across the different LMSs is very demanding for online education. Analyzing LMS use in Korean universities, Moodle, Canvas, and domestic LMSs are founded to be the significant three kinds that are widely used in Korea. In this paper, a method of integrating Moodle, Canvas, and domestic LMS services is proposed. A central Moodle server is installed as the main LMS server, and the method to connect or complement with a central Moodle server is proposed for each different kind of LMS. LMS users can easily access a different kind of LMS as a form of imported course, tightly connected service, or log in as SSO. This proposition can be applied to various service fields such as KMOOC, KOCW, credit exchange, lecture exchange between universities, regional unification of online educational centers as a practical problem-solver.
The use of digital platforms in the learning process is increasing, especially in the context of assessment activities. In this context, it is essential to realize that digital platforms can be ...subject to attack or fraud by irresponsible parties. It is due to the presence of sensitive data and/or restricted to a limited number of authorized persons. Therefore, the protection of data and its security in using digital platforms is very important. To enhance this layer of security in data protection, cryptographic methods play a crucial role in maintaining information security. By applying cryptographic methods to learning platforms for assessment purposes, we can increase the security and integrity of the data involved in the assessment process. This research aims to produce a plugin that can be used on a Moodle-based Learning Management System (LMS). This plugin will provide an additional activity in the form of an assessment activity with an essay exam type. When this plugin is used, all questions and answers will be encrypted into text that is difficult to understand by unauthorized parties when an attack attempt occurs. In this way, the learning platform for assessment purposes can safeguard and protect data from access by irresponsible parties.

This abstract outlines a systematic four-step methodology for upgrading Moodle from version 3.6.5 to 3.9.9. The process begins with comprehensive backup and preparation, followed by the replacement ...of the Moodle codebase and execution of the upgrade script. Post-upgrade checks are performed to ensure the smooth functioning of core and third-party components. Additionally, the abstract explores the actions and functions of the cron script, emphasizing its role in executing scheduled tasks critical for Moodle's operation.
Furthermore, the document sheds light on common reasons behind slow Moodle operation and provides practical tips for enhancing system speed. Recommendations include optimizing server resources, database maintenance, strategic caching implementation, and the judicious use of content delivery networks (CDNs). The importance of upgrading PHP and database versions is highlighted, alongside the benefits of disabling unused features and employing server monitoring tools. The abstract emphasizes the significance of staying abreast of Moodle updates for continued performance improvements and bug fixes, offering a holistic guide for upgrading and optimizing Moodle systems.
This article focuses on the implementation of the Flipped Classroom approach at Algeri2 University during the Covid-19 pandemic. It emphasizes the significance of assessment in distance learning and ...explores the utilization of the Flipped Classroom model in teaching Italian language through Moodle. The advantages and challenges of this approach are discussed, with a specific emphasis on student self-assessment and co-assessment. The characteristics of first-year students and the teaching activities employed are also described. Although statistical data is limited, the Flipped Classroom approach exhibits promising prospects. Further research is required to delve deeper into its effectiveness.
The paper is devoted to using innovative technologies in the professional training of future ship engineers. It highlights the need for tutors to make lessons interesting and exciting and to create a ...situation where every cadet can be active. The research emphasises that the main target of maritime education today is not just to accumulate knowledge and skills but to prepare cadets as independent subjects of educational activity who can learn and upgrade their knowledge. The article describes the benefits of digital technologies for online maritime education and training, including various videoconference services. It also discusses the psychological theory of learning based on the psychology of human relationships, which is crucial to interactive learning technologies. The paper concludes by describing various technologies for information visualisation, such as cloud technologies and gamification, and recommends tools like Mentimeter, Aha Slides, and Poll Everywhere for collaborative work and knowledge exchange. The research also suggests that using whiteboard resources during Maritime English lessons can serve cadets as a visual platform for displaying essential Maritime English vocabulary, supporting interactive discussions, conducting simulated exercises and role-playing scenarios.
